"Next up is group 3" the speaker said and the music started playing. Soyun took a few steps out on the stage and felt her heart pounding. She felt the beat.

The door bell rang. "I'm coming!", Quickly Soyun put on clothes and ran to the door. "Nara! Jung Kook! You're so early!", she said and hugged them both. Nara, Jung Kook and Soyun had been best friends since they were in kindergarten. "Well, we know how late you can be in the mornings and today is a big day for you.", Jung Kook said with a bright smile. "Oh..that..." Soyun mumbled. "Please don't tell me you have forgotten about it already..." Nara sighed. Soyun ignored her comment and ran to her room to change clothes. Just because she had forgotten about the big event she put on a lazy dress before Nara and Jung Kook came. Now Soyun changed to a yellow hoodie, nice black baggy harem pants, a new era cap and last but not least, her favorite adidas sneakers.

Together with her two best friends they got to the arena. Both of them had written "Soyun" on their foreheads. "Do you really need to go this far with it? Why did you have to write my name on your foreheads?" Soyun asked. "We need to show people that we're here to cheer on the daebak Soyun!" Jung Kook shouted, the people around him looked awkwardly at him. Soyun shook her head but kept going to the contestants room. It was now or never, she wanted to come to the finals, this was like a  dance audition. The finals is a dance battle were all the best dancers compete.

In the room Soyun saw a lot of boys and girls with different styles, it wasn't only street dancers or B-boys/B-girls, it was also modern dancers, popping/locking dancers and traditional dancers. It was so cool to see all the styles. She stood in a line of street dancers and before her was a boy in her own age. He turned back and looked into Soyun's eyes. "So you are the street dancer everyone is talking about?" the boy asked and gave her a smirk. "Everyone is talking about me??", Soyun was shocked, she wasn't that good, or was she? Maybe in others eyes, Soyun herself thought that she needed a lot more practise and maybe skip this but Jung Kook told her to do this, he was a dancer himself. "Yes, but look out, you might meet me in a battle, make sure to not loose.", the boy said and laughed. Soyun felt an anger in her body and she wanted to punch him, but not in public. Before she went out on the stage she noticed a familiar face in the line besides the street dancers. Kai! Soyun waved her hand and walked up on the stage together with three other dancers, including the wierd boy. The music stared playing. Soyun took a few steps out on the stage and felt her heart pounding. She felt the beat and started dancing, this was excactly what she had been practising for in 3 years. soyun did her best and when they were done she felt happy and excited.Hopefully she would make it to the finals.

Jung Kook and Nara ran up to Soyun and hugged her closely. "You did it Soyun!! That was totally daebak! You're the best!", Nara exclaimed. "No I don't think so, it was a lot of good dancers here today..." Right before Soyun finished her sentence someone interrupt. "You were really good actually, I don't know if I want to meet you in the finals. I might loose." It was the cocky boy again. "Who says you're going to the finals?", Soyun asked and looked at him. The people said "oooh" and the boy looked insecure but quickly gave her that smirk again "Well, that's how it is. I always win." Jung kooked sighed at his answer. "Jimin, just stop it already. Don't take it further." Jung Kook said and pulled us away. "You know him?", Soyun asked. "Yes I do, we used to dance together, we were a team. But he wanted to be solo so we kinda broke up our little team.", Jung Kook looked sad. "You're not friends any more?" Nara asked and put her arm around his shoulder. "Well...no... we used to be really good friends."
