Soyun went to the studio early due to her school ending earlier than normal. She took her time to change clothes, this time she didn't wear her street dance clothes, she had a pair of black tights, an oversized black t-shirt and white converse. Soyun put her hair up in a ponytail and unlocked the dancing room. Yes, Woonha gave her his keys so she could practise whenever she wanted to. Soyun sat down, leaning to the wall and stared at her self in the wide mirror. A few minutes someone knocked on the door, she had totally forgot that she actually locked the door after she went in. Soyun opened, Jimin stood outside and looked serious, unlike his usual self. "Something wrong?", Soyun asked and watched him going in. Jimin shook his head and sat down on the same place Soyun sat before, when she was alone. Without hesitating she sat down beside him. "I think I'm nervous, I can't do this.", Jimin said and put his face in his hands. Soyun put her hand on his back, "Of course you can, just believe in yourself, you are a good dancer, you can do anything.", she said and Jimin looked up at her. He looked really insecure and Soyun even felt bad seeing him like that. Before Jimin could answer her a beautiful woman walked in closely followed by Woonha. "Here you have your new teacher for the couple dancing.", Woonha said and motioned his arm in the woman's direction. "Annyeonghaseyo! Je ireumeun Mihyun imnida.", the woman presented herself and bowed in front of the nervous teenagers. Slowly they bowed to her. "No need to be nervous, you look like a perfect couple, this will be easy.", Mihyun said and smiled widely. Couple? Seriously? Soyun glanced at Jimin and saw him looking down at the ground, why didn't he do anything, he just stood there, accepting that she just called them a couple. "Excuse me miss but we are not a couple, we are just dance partners.", Soyun said. Before they started Soyun tied her shoes tightly and followed Mihyun's instructions. Soyun was inches away from Jimin, holding a hand on his shoulder. Mihyun showed them how they were going to dance using Woonha as her partner. It wasn't like these real couple dances, foxtrot, waltz, tango etc. it was more like a mix between street dance and closely dancing with the partner. Woonha spinned Mihyun and Jimin did the same with Soyun. Jimin and Soyun didn't hesitate anymore, they danced thrue all the parts, did it perfectly. Soyun thought of the last part, she really liked it, Jimin was a good dancer and his aura spread warmth so Soyun felt safe and happy in his arms. After they finished all the parts perfectly together with the soundtrack Jimin looked relieved and made a high five with Soyun while chuckling.

Baekhyun came in to Soyun's room. "Oh you're up early, I thought I had to wake you up.", Baekhyun said and watched Soyun packing a bag with clothes. "No, this day is important, how could I possibly forget about it?", Soyun said and giggled. "Are you nervous?", Baekhyun asked and saw how she stopped packing. "Well...a little maybe...", Soyun replied, it wasn't only the contest she was nervous about, the fact that Jimin's crazy fangirls were watching scared her more then anything. That girl group had rumors to totally maltreat people they didn't like, it sounded exaggerated but it could be true. Some students had to leave the school because of them. Soyun didn't know if she really could do it anymore. "Are you okay?", Baekhyun asked and pulled up her down looking face. Soyun shrugged her shoulders but kept on fixing her bag. She couldn't back down now, she was on her way to the finals, to her dreams. It stood a car outside her house, Woonha was the driver and he also brought Mihyun. Jimin stood outside the car, smirking towards her. Baekhyun came up behind her and wished her good luck, "I will try to come and watch you after my vocal rehearsals.", Baekhyun said and smiled. Soyun nodded and smiled back. Jimin opened the door of the car and jumped in after Soyun. "Are you ready?", Jimin asked and smiled. "I don't know...", Soyun replied and looked out of the window, the car started moving. Jimin playfully punched Soyun on her arm, "Aish we will totally win this!", he exclaimed and laughed. Maybe they had a chance to win, but what happened afterwards, the girls would kill her. Stupid Woonha, why did he choose Jimin as her partner and why did they have to do this couple dancing in part three of the choreo...She was in big trouble but hoped for the best, maybe she had luck and survived this.

They finally made it to the huge bulding, more like an arena. Soyun and Jimin read the list of dancers. Soyun recognized some of the dancers from the audition, they were also paired up two and two. She was happy her friends Jongup and Kai made it to the finals because they were really talented. Good for her they competed in other groups, she could have lost against them. Jimin and Soyun split up like usual when they were about to change to their clothes. Soyun prepared a surprise clothe change, she was going to change quickly on the stage, hopefully it would give it a cool effect for part three. After the change she met Jimin outside and together they walked to the waiting room, kinda like a greenroom. "I still don't get it why our school classes need to watch this.", Jimin said and facepalmed. Soyun agreed and started to get really nervous. When the speaker screamed their name, Jimin and Soyun ran out to the scene. Soyun's gaze ran around in the room, searching for familiar faces. Luckily she saw her friends Bora, Dongwoo, Tiffany, Youngjae and Minzy, she could also see Woonha, Mihyun and Baekhyun, her gaze stopped at that girl, that girl. She had crossed arms and stared hard at Soyun. "Don't care about it." Soyun whispered to herself and Jimin noticed it. "What?", he asked but got interrupted by the music. Jimin his y smirking and the girls started screaming in the audience. Before she could think of being insecure, part one was about to start. Jimin and Soyun started dancing, they were perfectly synchronized. They had always been that synchronized, even the first time they danced together. Part one rolled on and they made their way thrue part two with even more powerful dancesteps, making the audience cheer on even louder, it gave her courage to keep on doing her best. She had to deal with the rest of her problems after the dance. Next song started playing and Soyun threw her hoodie of, making the boys in the audience scream loud. She was now in a tight top together with her baggy pants. She even threw her cap off. Jimin got shocked by the change but kept dancing and came closer. They started part three, the most nervous part. She could see how Jimin also looked nervous but did her best to ignore it. He put his hands around her hips and she put her hands around his neck, their faces were close, just an inch away from each other. She could hear him breathing and closed her eyes for a while. Even Jimin put all his emotions in the dance, she was proud, the cocky guy that hated her was now close to her, smiling towards her, almost hugging her. Jimin spinned her around and catched her in his arms. After that, the dangerous and complicated throw came, Jimin gently threw Soyun up in the air and catched her but let her landing on the ground in a split, he still had his hands around her. The music toned out and it became black, it was their time to run out and change place with another "couple". But before it went all black Soyun could see that the girl and her friends were missing. When they came out to the greenroom again the other dancers cheered them on, telling them how good they were. Jimin was smiling the whole time and even took Soyun in for a hug. But she couldn't feel anything. She was dead now. "Hello? Are you okay?", Jimin asked and shook his hand in front of her eyes. Soyun woke up from her thoughts and nodded. "Go to the bathroom and drink some water!", Jimin said and pointed to the long hallway. "But...I don't want to go there...what if I will meet a lot of others there and it will be full?", Soyun said and started shivering. "Don't worry, the bathrooms we are using are only for the dancers, you wont meet any others there.", Jimin said and gently pushed her away in the direction of the toilets. Soyun walked slowly but finally made it to the bathrooms. Soyun drank a lot of the water and washed off her face, she felt better, much better. Until she heard a sound. Someone came in. It was like a public bathroom, with many toiletrooms in one big room, Jimin said it was only for the dancers. When she was about to leave someone pushed her back. That girl. Soyun crept backwards and looked up at the group of girls. She could see they were 5, six with the leader. The girl that was in the front, the leader and Jimin's biggest fangirl took a step to Soyun. "What do you think you are doing?", the leader asked and kicked Soyun in the side, she fell on the ground and made a sound of pain. "I haven't done anything!", Soyun said while trying to take her breath. Another girl kicked her in her other side. "Come on girls, let's show her what we do with people who mess with us!", the leader said and the girls spread out around Soyun, one hold her arms, one hold her legs so she couldn't move, the free girls started kicking her in her stomach, on even hit her in her fce and she started nosebleeding, but not only that, Soyun bit her lip when she got hit and it started bleeding there too. To Soyun's rescue someone quickly opened the toilet door. Jimin. "What the HELL is going on here?!", Jimin shouted and pushed away the girls, he lifted Soyun up, trying to make her stand up, it was hard for her, she was in a shock. Jimin walked out of the bathroom with an arm around Soyun's shoulders. Jimin told himself to not let the girls get away with this. Suddenly they heard running footsteps behind them. "Oops..",Jimin said and started running, Soyun looked back while trying to run and saw the girls running after them, but she also saw a big group of boys running after them, she didn't knew them, they must have been from another school. The chase made her wake up proper enough to run the fastest she could. They kept running out of the building and the group was still after them.  Jimin saw a narrow slit between two buildings, it was dark there but big enough for the two of them. Quickly he jumped in with Soyun in the slit. They were standing opposite of each other, not even inches away, they were close again, just like in the choreo. Soyun started crying and leaned her head on his chest, Jimin put one hand on her head, slowly he patted her, telling her to be quiet. She felt safe, close to Jimin, in his warmth. Why did she feel like this, she was just beaten up but clearly saw rainbows and unicorns, she smiled and closed her eyes, standing close to Jimin, in the dark, hiding from the group of stupid idiots that could have hurt her really bad. Jimin was her hero, he saved her.
