Hiro pov:

“생일축하합니다생일축하합니다사랑하는Hiro생일축하합니다~” I closed my eyes tightly and made a wish. Then in one breathe, I blew out the 20 candles on my cake.

“Thanks everyone!” The girls threw a party for me. It was all a surprise, from the organising and preparation to the actual party.

It has only been 3 weeks since I was discharged from the hospital. I haven’t seen Minho oppa that much, since he has been overseas most of the time, in this 3 weeks, I’ve only seen him twice. My wish just now was that, I hope Minho oppa and I can be together happily and that all the troubles will be away from us. It has been 6940 days since we met each other. Though we were not together every moment of this 6940 days but truly we learnt much and went through much in this 6940 days.

Birthdays no longer carry sad memories for me but from this year onward I would treasure this day. This is because I know no matter how many years will pass, Minho oppa and I will celebrate this day together.

“How are you celebrating tonight?” Fiona came up to me and asked. “Doing anything with minho?”

I rolled my eyes at her, that was a rhetorical question right? Of course I will be celebrating it with Minho oppa tonight. She laughed as she saw my reaction. “Alright, alright, I am just joking, should we free you now?”

I shook my head. “He hasn’t told me anything yet, he said it is going to be a surprise for me.”  

`ding ding`

The charms at the door ringed as the door opened and a delicious fragrant wafted in. We all looked out and a bunch of flowers walked in. Well, a deliverer holding a bunch of flowers walked in.

“Miss Hiromi Choi?”

I remained sitting there and Fiona walked up to get it for me.

“Wow, this must be super expensive, look at the flower, is gorgeous” She passed it to me. It has all my favourite flowers and there was a card which came along with it.

I slowly opened the envelope and took the card out.

                Miss Hiromi Choi,

You have been invited to the birthday party of super star Choi Minho of idol group SHINee. Out of the 50000 fans, you are the lucky one.

Surprises are awaiting you.

Please head to SHINee’s dorm.

Minho

My friends cracked up behind me while peeking over my shoulder. “Stop it! I am going now” I blushed and stood up. They stopped and stared at me. I grabbed my bag and walked to the door slowly while getting support from the chairs. Before I exited the room, they bursted into laughter again.

Minho pov:

“Hello?..Ah, it has been delivered, thank you so much…did she say anything when she received it?...That’s fine, thank you” I hung up after talking to the flower shop deliever.

I looked at my watch, in about 20 minutes, she will arrive here.

I kicked my brothers out of the house already, they threw a party for me in the morning and we will continue it today before midnight after my celebration with Hiro.

I nagged the ahjummah who cooks for us to teach me how to bake a cake last week and succeeded. It looks a bit ugly but it definitely tastes good. I even learnt how to make some of her favourite food. I went to the kitchen to double check the food, hotteok, bungeoppang.. sujebi  and gamjatang. Sujebi and gamjatang, extremely famous in Incheon. I am sure she will like it.

I then went out to the living room and checkon the decoration. Candles, balloons, flowers, ribbons. Perfect.

Last but not least, I went into my room to get the present out for her.

Couple rings. After all it is pretty normal to have couple rings now. I didn’t get to engrave our names on it but I hope she will like it.

Looking around myself one last time, I headed downstairs to wait for her.

Hiromi pov:

I thanked the taxi driver after he dropped me down.

I could see a huge crowd across the road on the street. What happened?

I walked closer to the crowd.

“Oh my! Is he…”

“Someone call the ambulance”

“Is he still alive..”

I heard loads of mumblings and the first thought that hit me was…

Please don’t let it be Minho.

I made my way through the crowd and fell on the floor.

Blood.

All around him.

Minho oppa.

I never thought this would happen to us.

No one pov:

~5 minutes ago~

Minho’s eyes kept on looking at his watch, hoping that Hiro would arrive soon.

Little did he know, after one tick of the second hand, his life would be totally upside down.

`bang`

A car lost control and crashed into Minho who was standing on the sidewalk . He couldn’t respond quick enough. He eyes widened and his mouth gasper, but no sound came out.

He hands tightened with the velvet box in it as he flew back after the hit and everything turned black.

People began to crowd around.

Hiromi pov:

I knelt down next to him. The pool of blood on the floor went through my skirt. I didn’t dare to touch him, I simply knelt there and cried.

Soon, the ambulance came.

The sound of the ambulance brought memories back to me.

It was this sound that brought the two of us together, what is it going to do this time?

Alas, I have returned to this HiroxMinho story after leaving it for nearly 2 months since I ended Memory box

A bit of a heart breaking and emotional chapter.

I hope this is a good opening.
