”Would you like to enlighten me?” Haewon tilted her head to the side in a questioning manner. Daniel had left the two not so long after his interruption.

Hoya awkwardly laughed but immediately stopped when he saw that Haewon wasn’t returning his laugh.

“I don’t know what to say” he finally said after thinking for a while. He could just spit out the whole truth but if he could avoid it then he would.

“You could start by telling me why you told you were in a relationship with me” Haewon said, sounding irritated at him for the first time.

Hoya bit his bottom lip and avoided her eyes. He didn’t want to tell her the truth. He didn’t want to spill his dark secret to her.

“Fine,” She stood up “Then I’m leaving” she turned around and marched away.

“I accidently told Daniel that I had a girlfriend”

“I-I don’t know. I just did. Then he asked me about her name and you were the first one I thought of so I said your name”

“Why didn’t you just tell him that you don’t have a girlfriend?”
