Taking Over Me
Double update!
Jaesuk took Hoya to a small coffee shop just outside of campus. He told Hoya to go and take a seat while he ordered a coffee each for them.
“Here you go” Jaesuk slid Hoya’s mug across the table which Hoya had chosen.
“Thanks” he grabbed it and took a small sip from it, carefully so he didn’t burn his tongue. He looked at the cinnamon bun that Jaesuk had bought as well as ten sugar cubes.
“I have a small sweet tooth” Jaesuk chuckled “My wife likes to bake so I’m used to eating sweets all the time”
Hoya only politely smiled back, not really knowing what to say back. He couldn’t really relate to Jaesuk; he didn’t have a sweet tooth neither a wife who likes to bake.
“What is bothering you?” the older smiled.
“N-nothing” Hoya lied. He wanted to tell Jaesuk everything about Dongwoo. How they had been friends since birth basically, how tough last year had been on them and how much he had screwed everything up in a matter of seconds.
“Well,” Jaesuk put down his cup on the table starting to tear a bite from the bun with his hands “I can tell you about myself if you want to”
“Sure” Hoya was actually quite relieved that Jaesuk wanted to talk because otherwise it would be pretty quiet at their table.
“As you already know; I have a wife which I’ve been in love with since I was in my early twenties. I have three kids with her. I’ve been teaching at this school for… twenty-five years. Gosh I’m old” he chuckled which made Hoya smile “I guess there’s really no more interesting about me. That’s as fun as I get I’m worried”
Hoya took another sip from his coffee, avoiding to have to answer.
“Tell me about yourself” Jaesuk took the bit he had torn off the bun and placed it in his mouth, slowly chewing it. It looked like he really enjoyed the bun’s taste as he seemed to become more relaxed.
“I…grew up in a small town.” Hoya started to relax as well when he saw that Jaesuk wasn’t looking at him instead his focus was on the bun. “Me and six guys used to hang out all the time. I was in my first relationship my third year of high school. It wasn’t that great…”
“Why not?” Jaesuk finally looked up with big eyes.
“She cheated on me…” Hoya sighed as he remembered the horrible memories of finding it out.
“She told you?”
“No. My best friend
