Taking Over Me
”Do you remember when Woohyun and Sunggyu tricked us to meet each other at the bar last year?” Dongwoo was lying on the sand. His head was placed in Hoya’s lap. He was playing with Hoya’s hand, linking their fingers together.
The beach was empty and quiet. The band had played their last song an hour ago. Everyone had left except for the young couple.
“Yeah…” Hoya chuckled as he remembered the night Dongwoo was talking about “it was the best drunk I’ve never had”
Dongwoo glared up at Hoya but couldn’t stop himself from smiling. Hoya was looking down at him with loving eyes.
“We should thank them next time we see them” Dongwoo eyes drifted back to Hoya’s hand. “They helped us”
Hoya hummed in agreement.
“I was thinking about the others the other day and I realized that I miss them…I miss all of us together”
“They’re all idiots but I miss them too” Hoya sighed.
“We should call them!” Dongwoo sat up and smiled widely.
“Now?” Hoya raised his brow and chuckled.
“Yes!” the older was about to pick up his phone when Hoya grabbed his hand.
“It’s late” he softly smiled “They are probably sleeping”
“Oh…” Dongwoo slowly said “…I just wanted to talk to them”
“I know” Hoya pulled his boyfriend closer to him. He wrapped his arms around Dongwoo’s body and rested his head on top of his. “We’ll talk to them soon”
The first half of the first day of school was hectic for Hoya. He woke up ten minutes before he needed to be in class. He got there in time but he didn’t really have time to shower or make sure that he looked okay.
He had two classes before lunch; history and English. He hated history but loved English. But since it was the first class of the semester the teacher only introduced himself and tried to learn everyone’s names.
Lunch came faster than what Hoya thought it would. The bell rang at eleven sharp. When he got out in the hallway students were trying to either get to their next class in time or trying to get to the cafeteria.
The line to get food was rather long when Hoya got there. After he’d been standing there for ten minutes he still couldn’t see the food.
He picked up his phone and texted Dongwoo to see where he was. He got a reply almost immediately.
From: Dongwoo
I don’t have lunch until another hour. I’ll talk to you later <3
Hoya let out a sigh in disappointment. Just as he was about to answer Dongwoo’s text he heard his name being called out.
“Hoya!”
He looked up and searched the cafeteria with his eyes.
“Hey”
He felt a hand on his shoulder, turning him around. He was surprised when he saw Haewon’s smiling face.<
