Minwoo’s P.O.V

Once we were alone at the playground, I mustered up my courage and opened up my mouth to ask her that question.

Minwoo: Minhee… I… I have something to ask you.

Minhee: Yeah? What is it?

She walked over to the swing and sat on it. I grabbed both of her hands and looked into her eyes.

Minwoo: You see… I really like you. …I mean love you. So, I was wondering, will you be my girlfriend?

I was so nervous. I was desperately trying to find the answer from her eyes. Then, she stood up, pulled me into a hug and whispered softly in my ears.

Minhee: Why wouldn’t i?

She pulled back and I grinned at her. I crashed my lips into hers. A perfect match. Sparks…I wrapped my arms around her waist and she wrapped hers around my neck. We pulled each other in, closer.

It was getting late so I decided to walk her home. We were walking hand in hand. Swinging our arms, talking and laughing like it was our own world. The entire street was filled with our laughter and chatter. Nothing else really mattered. She’s mine. My dream, my one and only love. She’s finally mine.

I looked into her sparkling eyes as she laughed at my jokes. I never knew that I could feel so happy and contented just by seeing someone’s smile, hearing someone’s laughter.

Minwoo: See you, Minhee.

We came to a stop in front of her house. I planted a kiss on her forehead.

Minhee: See you, Minwoo.

She smiled and pecked my cheek before leaving me smiling foolishly in front of her house. I ran my fingers across the spot she pecked and left for my house smiling like a fool.

Minhee’s P.O.V

I closed the door behind me, grinning from ear to ear.

Minhae: You’re home? Why are you smiling like a retard? Why is your face red?

Minhae who was initially sitting on the couch and watching the television snapped her head around and stared at me.

Minhee: My face is red? Really?

I placed my palms on my cheeks.

Minhae: Tell me what happened. Come on!

She pulled me onto the couch.

Minhee: Uh… I uhm…

Minhae: Go straight to the point!

She seemed so eager to find out.

Minhee: Straight to the point?

I looked at her. She nodded.

Minhee: Uh okay… well, Minwoo and i…

Minhae: You two are dating?

She looked at me, surprised.

Minhee: How did you know…

Minhae: Just a wild guess. …Omg. My little sister is all grown up!

She pinched my cheeks.

Minhee: Uh okay… I’ll go wash up.

I yanked her hands off my face and scampered up to my room. I closed the door behind my back. Is it really happening? I placed my palms on my cheeks again. I am really together with Minwoo… I smiled like an idiot ,took my shower things and jumped into the shower.
