The Next Day
Your Words
By the time Sunggyu returned home, dawn had already broken on the horizon. He pushed his front door open with a smile, thinking about how Mina and he spent the night doing nothing but sit on her couch in comfortable silence. His arm around her, her head on his shoulder, and their free hands clasped together. And how, before he left, she let him pull her into a long embrace, and even let him plant a single, sweet kiss on her lips.
He grinned widely to himself. Things seem to be going so well, he thought.
He was so distracted that he almost ran headlong into Woohyun when he entered his bedroom.
"Woah! Hyung!" Woohyun recovered with a greasy smirk. "Where have you been all night?"
"Out of the way, Woohyun," Sunggyu said, pushing him playfully to the side. "I'm too tired."
"Oh, so whatever you were doing made you tired, hmm??"
Sunggyu collapsed on his bed with a smile. "Yah. It's nothing like that."
Woohyun gave a deep chuckle. "Well, I'm happy for you, hyung. At least one of us has a life outside of Infinite. Aigooo. What'll the members say when they find out??" he playfully chided.
He waited for a response, but all he got was a quiet snore from his hyung. He smiled widely. It was about time those two got past their stubbornness and figured out how crazy they were for one another.

Mina couldn't stop smiling the next day. It was such a foreign act to her, that her cheeks tightened under the strain, but she couldn't help it. The sky had never seemed so blue, the air never smelled so clean, and her heart never felt so full.
A part of her still couldn't believe the turn of events that led to this. She had sworn, after Kibum, that she would never fall in love again. But here she was, quickly falling for this person that irritated her, that pushed all her buttons, and that brought the worst luck her way.
And she had never felt happier. Well, not since Kibum, at least.
She walked to the grocery store, thinking it was about time to stock that old fridge of hers, when she decided to call him.
"Yoboseyo?" His voice was scratchy, as if he had just woken up.
She smiled. "Good morning."
He chuckled. "Good morning. What are you doing today?"
"I'm at the grocery store now. Going to pick up a few things, and then go back home to write. What about you?"
"A few meetings and dance practice. But I'm free after dinner. Can I come by?"
She bit her bottom lip in happiness. "Of course. I'll cook you something nice."
She heard him smile through the phone. "Great. I can't wait."
Mina pocketed her phone, then grabbed a basket and eyed the aisles. She began with fruit. She made her way through the different stacks, stopping to pick through the persimmons, when she accidentally pulled one, and two others tumbled to the floor.
"Omo!" She crouched to pick them up, when someone stooped beside her to help her.
"Ah, kamsahamnida--" she began to say as she stood. But when she faced her helper, she froze, and for the moment, her blood ran cold.
Her helper blinked hard, as if he also couldn't believe that they were here, standing face-to-face. "...Hello, Mina," he said cautiously, watching the muscle in her jaw tense up, like it always did when she was nervous.
"Hi. Kibum."

AHH! DRAMA!!
So... it's about that time in every story where I myself am not too sure about what should happen next, and I vent by writing a completely different story. Heh. I'm a weirdo. But until I figure it out, expect less frequent updates :/ (sorry)
Meanwhile, if you like, check out Red On Black, featuring Woohyun and Myungsoo. It's actually an old story that I threw away and dug back up. I used to hate it, but I'm working on it again, and slowly finding my peace with it XD Honestly, it's still just aiight. Not my faves :( But have at it if you want!
Thanks for reading my fatass note. Yeppuda, and you should never forget it!!
