Description
I had a life. Once.
It was a good life. I was living the dream in Seoul. A young working person with my whole life ahead of me. And I was in love. Set to be married in one month.
But then something went terribly wrong. And now I'm here. In this strange and terrifying alternate universe, where nothing makes sense, but also, everything makes sense.
There is magic here. Swordsmen. Duels. Horseback riding. And superhuman strength.
And amid all that, there are lies. Deceit. Power struggle. Violence. And fear.
I don't know who I am. And I don't know why this happened to me. But there is no changing the fact that I need to see this life through. I need to figure out what is going on, who I can trust, and what I can be. If I don't... my death awaits me.
Down the rabbit hole we go.
Foreword
I know, I know.
My other stories aren't finished. I haven't updated them in a while. This story is falls far outside my usual genre. It's different, and because of that, it might not be a good fit for my usual audience.
But despite all that, I wanted to share this story with you. In a brazen attempt to escape reality again (isn't that why we're all here?) I sat down today and pumped out the first part of this story as if I was on a mission. And what's more, I truly enjoyed myself. I never thought I would write a fantasy, alternate universe type of schtick, but once I started, I found myself having a blast.
Story isn't done yet. But I thought I'd post a couple chapters for now. As much as I love writing and creating, it does kind of get lonely. Honestly, I'd rather share that journey with all of you, and continue building as I go.
