Kim was on the airport…holding the jar of her dad’s ashes…. Her dad died 5 days ago…. It hurts her…but her Dad…gave her the best year of memories…

The day she left …..her heart was broken into pieces… She have no idea how to live her life again… She arrive in Stockton California…where her Dad is….with an empty heart….

When she saw her Dad laying on the bed….. Her heart cried for him… Ang payat nito…at namumutla… Kung ano-anong tubes ang nakalagay sa katawan nito… Lahat ng galit at tampo…nawala lahat… She run to him and hugged him real tight… “Daddy….”…she cried…

“sssshhh… sweetheart… no more crying… Daddy’s here!”… Kahit hirap na hirap sa pagsasalita ….pinilit pa rin nito ang sarili…..

“Wag kayong magalala Dad…. Aalagaan ko kayo!! Hindi ko kayo iiwan!!”…..she said in between her sobs…

“Anak…. Daddy’s sorry!!”…

“I know Dad…. I know!”…..

From that day….she was his nurse…. Lahat ng pagaalaga ginawa niya dito… she makes her self busy para makalimutan ang sariling nararamdaman……. The good thing about it…is that her Dad got better…. They even travel to places together….. Watch movies…..

But this past few months….his dads’ kidney gave up… and everything else follows…. Masakit makita ang pagbulusok nito…. Pero she have to be tough…for his dad… Kahit minsan bigla na lang niyang makikita ang sarili na umiiyak sa isang tabi….. Weeping for him….. every time she weeps for him…her heart is also weeping for Gerald… How he missed him so much….. Kung nandito lang siya….he’ll make sure na hindi siya masasaktan….na hindi siya mahihirapan……

And now that her Dad died….wala ng saysay para manatili siya sa US….. Even she didn’t want to leave all the memories of his Dad…. She wanted to go back to one place where her heart is longing…. Back to Gerald’s heart…. Kung tatanggapin niya pa ako…. Be ready Kim… it’s not going to be easy!

She was on the taxi…heading home…. Yes home…..

Ng magpark ang taxi sa harap ng bahay ni Auntie Pokie…she hesitated to go down…. May babalikan ka pa kaya Kim?…..sana meron pa!

She got off and headed to the door…. “Auntie!! Auntie!”…tawag niya…. She heard the door open……she took a deep breath….

When the door open….she put on her sweetest smile……….”Auntie!!”….

Auntie Pokie look at the girl on her front door…. The girl have a shoulder length hair with a pink head band… pink spaghetti strap blouse and a jeans… “Sino ka?”….

“Auntie….si Kim po ako?”…nagtatakang tanong ni kim…bakit di siya kilala nito…

“Sinong Kim?”….tanong nito…pilit pa rin siyang kinikilala….

“Auntie naman…. Si Kim po…yung anak nyo?”….sagot niya…

“Hoy bata ka….wala pa akong asawa…at lalong-lalo na ang anak…. pa po ako!!”…sagot nito….

“Auntie…..galit pa rin ba kayo sa akin?”…tanong niya…

“Wala akong Kim na kilala!! Babye”…and closed the door…

Kim was crying …she turned her back and start walking away…ng biglang bumukas ulit ang pinto.

“Kimberly Chiu… halika na nga dito…. Kahit kailan ang hilig mong magdrama!! Binibiro lang kita anak!!”… Auntie Pokie ran to her and hugged her real tight…

Kim cried on her shoulder…. She misses her so much… Every time she comb her hair…. Lagi niyang naaalala ito…. “Auntie…. Wala na si Dad…”…yun lang ang nasabi niya….

“Ssshhh…tahan na anak… halika na sa loob…dun tayo magusap!”…Auntie guide her inside….

To her surprise….she saw the only person she was longing for the past 12 months of her life…. Akala niya mahihirapan siyang hanapin ang taong ito….yun pala…natutulog lang sa sala nila….. She neared herself to him…. He still as handsome as he is….medyo rugged nga lang ang itsura nito….ng maamoy niya ito…”Ang baho…amoy alak!!”…she said….”Auntie….bakit amoy alak ito?”….

“Hoy Kimberly….kararating mo lang…. pinagnanasaan mo na kaagad yang lalaking yan!! Kumain ka nga muna dito….”…

Kim smiled…. She look at her Auntie…. “I love you Auntie!!”…..

Her Auntie look at her…. “Asus….ang anak ko paiiyakin pa ako…. Hirap yatang magpaganda ha….wala akong pang Belo!! Halika na nga dito…at hayaan mo muna yang magpahinga… Madaling araw na umuwi yan!”…

“Madaling araw? Eh saan naman po nagpupunta yan?”…tanong niya….

“Aba ewan ko…. Baka kung saan-saan… uuwi na lang dito yan…lasing!!”…

Kim kept wondering…..Saan kaya nagpupunta ang taong ito….may kasama kaya?…. Baka kung kani-kanino siya pumupunta…. Her heart felt like burning in pain…. “Auntie….Huli na ba ako?”….she said…tears were falling….

“HOy Lorna T. ikaw ba iyan?…..diyos ko…ang mga linya mo…pang teleserye!! Sabi ng halika muna dito eh…pabayaan mo muna yan!!”

Kim wiped her tears….”Auntie naman eh….panira kayo ng moment…. Kita nyo namang nagdadrama pa ako dito…saka Auntie… Namiss ko itong Grinch na ito…. Yung memory lang niya ang nagpatibay sa akin!!”…

Gerald moved….

Kim move back…and watch him…

Gerald slowly held his head….. “aaaray…. Auntie…..ulo ko… sakit!”… parang batang sumbong nito…. He open his eyes…but closed it again….nasilaw siya sa sikat ng araw…. “Auntie…yung bintana….sakit sa mata!!”….

Aba…Aba… “hoy lalaking amoy chico…..bakit kung utusan mo ang Auntie ko…ganon-ganon na lang….senyorito ka ba?”…sigaw ni Kim…. Aba…kahit miss na miss niya ito…. Hindi uubra ang kalokohan nito sa kanya….

Gerald eyes widened….he knows that voice…especially that voice…. He followed her voice…. His mouth dropped…. Hindi siya makapaniwala…. She look different…but it’s her…. The eyes….the lips….the skin…. It’s her….it’s her…. She’s back…she’s back……….His heart screamed…..

“Anak…. Yung bibig mo…baka mapasukan ng langaw….”… Lumapit dito si Auntie Pokie…inayos ang gulo-gulong buhok nito…. “Anak…si Kim oh!!”…she said….

Gerald tried to compose himself….tumayo siya bigla…. “Auntie… nakalimutan ko…may date pala ako!!”….he said…

“Date? Anak alas otso pa lang ng umaga….may lahi ka ba ng chekwa?”…tanong ni Auntie Pokie…

“Auntie…diba sabi ko saiyo….may date ako!!”…he said trying to grab his shoes…..His head is aching bad from the hangover…. But he tried to move na parang wala lang…. he have to show Kim na okay siya….na balewala na ito sa kanya….

“OO nga…sabi mo nga… may date ka nga…. Di ko nga lang matandaan kung kelan mo nabanggit.”. Auntie Pokie said….

“Sige po Auntie… kailangan ko pang magbihis….para sa date ko!!”…he said…. Walking out the door….

“Teka anak…. Yung polo mo!!” kinuha nito sa may upuan at inabot kay Gerald….

“Salamat Auntie….”…he grabbed the Polo shirt…and went outside…closing the door…. He couldn’t move….he couldn’t believe it…she’s back… nanghihina ang tuhod niya…. He leaned on the door…..

Matt and Mel arrive…. “Parekoi!! You look like a crap!!”…. Matt said…

“Oh…bakit namumutla ka….para kang nakakita ng multo….”…mel asked…

“She’s back!! She’s Back”..yun lang ang nasabi niya….and then left….

Mel and Matt look at each other….

Kim on the other hand….was all smiled…. “Auntie…. Isuko ko kaya ang bataan…. Baka mapatawad niya ako kaagad….”…

“Loko-loko ka talaga……. Di mo ba narinig….May date daw siya!!”…her Aunt said…

Kim took a deep breath…. Now that she’s back…. And knowing how he’s still affected by her…. She will do everything….and anything…para lang bumalik ang dati….. And dating Gerald!!
