Nangangalay na si Kim sa posisyon niya… Gerald is not letting go of her hands…. every time that she tried to move…lalong humihigpit ang hawak nito….. Pagtinitignan naman niya ito…mukha namang tulog……

Nangangawit na talaga siya….ayaw naman niyang gisingin ito…mukhang masama talaga ang pakiramdam…. Her eyes landed on his chest…. Kung papakinggan ko kaya ang heartbeat niya…..may makukuha akong sagot……. She slowly near her head on his chest…..on top of his heart…. Wala siyang marinig…. Pero mas kumportable yata ang ganitong posisyon… She closed her eyes…. Ang bango! Maya-maya pa eh nakatulog na siya….

Gerald felt a slight heaviness on his chest… he opened his eyes…and found Kim laying on his chest…sleeping.. He smiled… kahit masakit ang ulo niya….parang nawala ang ang sakit niya..when he saw her face… He fixed the strand of her hair that fell on her face… Kung ganito naman kaganda ang nurse mo…kahit pa araw-araw…pwedeng-pwede siyang magkasakit…. He scooted himself carefully para mabigyan ng space si Kim…. He layed on his side…guided her head on his arms and tried to pick up her legs…para makahiga ito ng maayos…

Naalimpungatan si Kim…pero didn’t bother to open her eyes… she’s having the best dream ever…. Nananaginip daw siyang… Gerald was hugging her… she automatically put her feet up and lay on the warm couch…forgetting that Gerald was there…

Gerald held her tight…hug her from behind…and secured her by his arms…. Now that’s much better…. Then he closed his eyes….he fell asleep peacefully….

Kim woke up with a tap on her shoulder…. It was Auntie Pokie… she tried to sit down…but felt some heaviness on her legs and side… She saw a long arms around her waist and legs on top of hers…. Her eyes widened…. “A-auntie”…

“Sshhh… wag kang maingay…baka magising ..” she pointed to Gerald… “Ano kim… pwede na nating pikutin yan… sumigaw ka lang!!”…Auntie Pokie winked…

“Auntie…kung ano-ano pinagsasabi… pwede po bang tulungan nyo ako dito… ang bigat ng lalaking ito…di ako makahinga!!”… sagot niya…

“Asus… kunwari ka pa… if I know… feel na feel mo….”…Tukso ni Auntie… “o sige…. Ako naman…mukhang masarap matulog diyan sa lugar mo!!”…

“Ayy… wag na po Auntie… okay pa po pala ako…”.. she said…making herself comfortable…

“Oh…tignan mo na!! ikaw.. Napakashowbiz mo… deny ng deny… eh gusto naman!! Ewan ko sayo!! Kung ako sayo…sunggaban mo na ang pagkakataon…kasi baka pag nawala yan… pagsisihan mo..!!”…

“eh Auntie…anong oras na po ba?” she asked…

“Tanghalian na!!”…

“Naku… eh iinom na po ito ng gamot!!” she said…

“O sige…painumin mo na yan ng gamot…pupunta lang ako sa palengke!!”.. Auntie Pokie gave her a warning look before she left…”Hoy Kimberly… wag mong gahasain yan!! Kung may mabubuntis… ako muna!! Nagkakaintindihan ba tayo!!”… her Aunt pointed at her…

She smiled… “Eh pwede namang manggahasa ng hindi mabubuntis!”…sagot niya..

“Kimberly!!”…

“Opo!! Opo!! Hindi ko po isusuko si bataan!! Ang Auntie talaga…kung ano-ano ang iniisip!!”…she smiled…

Kim put her back of the hand to Geralds forehead… mainit na naman ito…. He needs to drink medicine… She touch his cheeks…. “Gerald!! Gerald!”… she called…

Gerald slowly open his eyes…. “K-kim?”…he whispered…

“Mainit ka eh… kukuha kita ng gamut ha..”… she said…

Gerald held her tight…”Don’t leave!… please stay!!”… OH…stay daw ulit…hay naku Kim… kaya ka napapahamak… stay ka kasi ng stay……

“Ikukuha lang kita ng gamut!!”… she said…

Gerald look at her face….with inches away from his…. He couldn’t resist but to kiss her… he lift her chin up to his level….and slowly neared himself to hers….

Nagkakandaduling si Kim sa papalapit na mukha ni Gerald….OH no… heto na naman!! Parang naririnig niya ang boses ni Auntie Pokie na tinatawag siya……… pero paliit ng paliit ang boses…. Auntie…hindi babagsak ang bataan… promise…… mapipingasan lang!! she closed her eyes and accepted the kiss…

Gerald was very careful…he didn’t want Kim to think that he’s taking advantage of her… He wants her to feel the love he’s offering for her….. He brushed his lips against hers…giving her some feathered kiss… His kissed move to her forehead….going down to her eyes…. Then the tip of her nose…. He neared his forehead to hers…….. And whispered….”Open your eyes Kim!!…”..

She did…. She look in his eyes…. Natakot siya sa nakita niya….. She saw the love on his eyes…… She closed her eyes back….

“Open your eyes Kim… read in through my eyes….. This is what I’m offering to you!!”….

Kim pushed him…..tried to loosen up from his arms….”ako… I’m offering you medicine… kasi mukhang nagdedeliryo ka na naman!!”…

Gerald look at her….and let her go!!

She was free at last from his warm body…. Pero bakit parang biglang lumamig… She look at him…. He is still laying down in the couch watching her…. Bakit parang gusto kong bumalik dun sa tabi niya…. Hay naku Kim… move on… baka ikaw na ang magdeliryo kapag di ka pa kumilos…..

She heated the left over lugaw…..at pinakain dito….. Pinainum ng gamot…. She was putting a towel on his back when they heard Auntie Pokie arrived….

Gerald sits down… “Auntie… uuwi na po ako!”…he said…

Kim frowned…

“Kaya mo na ba?”…her Aunt asked…

“Auntie…di pa niya kaya!”…Kim answered…

“Kaya ko na po!!”…he said…

“May kasama ka ba sa bahay niyo?”… Auntie Pokie asked..

“Auntie wala po siyang kasama!!”…Kim answered …

Gerald look at Kim….

“Eh bakit ba ikaw ang sumasagot…. Ikaw ba si Gerald?” Auntie pointed at her…. “Eh Gerald.. Mukhang maputla ka pa eh…. Magpahinga ka pa ng konti…. Tapos mamaya ka na umuwi… heto at namalengke ako ng pang sopas…. Dito ka na maghapunan!!”…

Gerald just gave Auntie a nod…. Then laid back to the couch…. He was disappointed… to kim… to himself… I guess I’m not showing enough for her to accept me……. Or maybe it’s just me who she didn't want…. He closed his eyes… lalong sumakit ang ulo niya….he tried to massage it….

Kim was watching him… she knows na masama ang loob nito…. GAGa ka kasi…. Bakit ka ba natatakot… hind naman siya mangangagat……. OO nga…pero baka mang-iiwan lang!!…she took a deep breath…….. Bumawi ka!! Bumawi ka!! …..eh anong gagawin ko!!….

Lumapit siya sa hinihigaan ni Gerald… lift his head from the couch… umupo siya sa ulunan nito at nilagay ang ulo nito sa hita niya…. Pakapalan na ng mukha!!!… she massages his head….

Nagulat si Gerald sa ginawa ni Kim…. Every she’s doing on his head….unti-unting nawawala yung sama ng loob niya…. Even the head ache is gone… Just one touch of her…. Nawawala ang tampo niya…… He couldn’t stay mad at her………Man… he’s in big trouble…. Big….big… trouble……
