I watched Marichuy as she walked around the small kitchen. After we left TS we all headed to her house and we were all stretched out on her sofas. She was making dinner for us all. I smiled to myself when I saw her furrow her eyebrows together as she thought what she had to do next. She placed her hands on her hips and looked down at the counter. She snapped her fingers in the air when she remembered what she had to do and nodded to herself. I couldn’t help but chuckle at her. Today was a good day, even though we can’t date in public it’s a start. I honestly thought that Mr. Kim was going to reject us. He looked so serious I thought he was going to yell. I mean I’ve never seen him yell but still. I couldn’t stop smiling to myself. I know I’m not the greatest boyfriend for her but for her I’ll try my best. After a couple of minutes she called us over to the table. The boys all crowded around the table and sat in the chairs that just barely fit us all. We were all sitting around the table and it reminded me of when we used to all live together. The past year had been life changing, something I thought it would never turn out to be. She came in with the food and placed it on the table Zelo was helping her with the side dishes earning him a pat on the head from her. We all sat at the dinner table together and ate the delicious meal she made for us.
“It’s really good noona!!!! I missed your cooking sooooo much!!” Zelo gorged her with compliments. She laughed and thanked him. I could never get enough of her laugh or smile or her in general. She’s a part of my life that I need.
“Do you guys like it?” she looked up at the others who nodded except for Youngjae of course. That’s how they played around though.
“It could be better.” He grinned at her and stuck his tongue out. She stuck her tongue out at him back and they laughed. I couldn’t stop stealing glances at her. She noticed and looked over at me.
“What’s up Mr. Bang? Is there something you need?” she asked in a playful tone. I smiled at her and shook my head. She gave a glance before continuing to eat. I offered to help wash the dishes with her and she agreed. She washed and I dried. “So, now that we told Samchon what are your plans? We still have to act like we don’t like each other.” She smiled at me as she passed me a plate. I nodded and thought for a bit.
“I guess we’ll just have to bear it out. What else is there to do?” I sighed. “At least we don’t have to worry about Samchon anymore.” I said and grinned when I realized I said Samchon.
“Oh so you’re still calling him Samchon?” she grinned at me and I nodded.
“I have to get used to it don’t I? I mean we will be part of a family one of these days.” I smiled at her and pulled her into a back hug. I snugged my face in her neck and kissed it lightly. I could hear her giggle lightly and she held my arms in place around her waist. She turned around to face me and looked at me seriously.
“You have to stop getting jealous though, okay?” she placed her petite hands on my chest as she looked up at me. I sighed but nodded.
“It’s harder than you think though; knowing that guys think you’re single makes me mad. The way they look at you doesn’t help either.” I pulled her closer and [pressed our foreheads together. “I’m sorry, I’ll try to stop but I can’t make any promises.” She sighed but kissed me lightly.
“Just don’t show it in front of others, if you get really mad then just talk about with me when we’re alone okay?” she ran her hands up to my hair and played with it. I frowned at her and shook my head.
“I can’t, if I do that then I’ll just be yelling at you and I don’t want that. I’d rather at like a jerk to whoever is flirting with you than be a jerk to you.” I sighed and held her tighter. She sighed but nodded.
“I guess I can’t change what you want to do huh? Just don’t get too jealous, Please.” She had a pleading voice and I felt myself soften. I nodded and then pulled her in for a soft kiss. She smiled into the kiss and we let go when we heard the familiar noisy coughs from earlier. I looked up and saw the others in the living and since there wasn’t a wall separating the kitchen and living room they could easily see us.
“You know, there isn’t a wall that’s blocking us from seeing you guys.” Youngjae blurted out what everyone was thinking. I smirked and pulled Marichuy in for a deep kiss. I held her close to me a pressed my tongue against her lips. I could tell that she was trying to pull away but I held her tighter. She pushed me away and punched my chest. I laughed it off and pulled her in back hug. “You know you love me.” I whispered in her ear and kissed it lightly.
“Can I go burn my eye balls now?” I looked over at Youngjae who made his usual remark. I looked at the others and saw disgust.
“Ughh, don’t ever kiss my dongsengie like that again!” Himchan groaned in disgust. Zelo and Jongup were sticking their tongues in disgust as well. I looked over at Daehyun who had a disgusted face on too. I smiled at them all and gave Marichuy a quick peck on the cheek. I let her go and we continued to wash the dishes. When we finished we sat with the boys. I could feel her head sliding to my shoulder and she rested it against my shoulder. I wrapped my arm around her and pulled her close. I could feel her breath slowing down. Something she would always do when she was falling asleep.
“Do you wanna go to sleep? Here I’ll take you.” I picked her up and took her to her room. She stirred a little and then wrapped her arms around my neck. I placed her on the bed and I went next to her. She was still holding me onto me so I took her arms and put them to her sides. I wrapped my arm around her and placed her head on my chest. I smiled to myself and thought about how the rest of our days would be without being able to say we were together. I sighed but when I looked down at her I couldn’t help but smile. At least I know that she’s mine. I closed my eyes and went to sleep with her.
Marichuy’s P.O.V
I woke when I heard my phone go off and I groaned as I yanked Yongguk’s arm off of me so I could get my phone. I opened it without looking at the phone ID and answered with a groggy voice.
“Hello?” I squinted when I went to open the window curtains.
“Marichuy? I’m sorry if I woke you up I just called to ask if you could come to the building as soon as possible, I need your help with something.” I could hear Zico’s rushed voice over the phone, it still sounded tired though. I looked at the clock and saw that it was only seven in the morning. I sighed and agreed to meet him up. I hung up and went to go open the other curtains. I could hear Yongguk groan and move around in the bed.
“Why are you up so early? Come back to bed with me.” he said in a sleepy voice that I loved. I walked over to his side of the bed and sat on the bed.
“I have to go to work, I’m sorry honey.” I gave him a peck on the lips and was going to get up from the bed when he pulled me down next to him.
“You can’t have work so early, I don’t even have work that early.” He opened his eyes slightly and groaned again from the light. He placed his hand on my cheek and caressed it lightly. “Give me a kiss before you leave okay?” he smiled at me and let me go. I got up and got ready to go to the TS building. I took a taxi to the building and went up to the recording studio that he messaged me to go to. I sighed when I came up to the door and knocked on it. There better be a good reason why I’m here at eight in the morning. I heard him yell through the door to come in so I did. I saw Kyung sleeping on the couch and Zico was sitting in the other chair by the recording table. He looked up at me and had a tired face on. He smiled lightly gestured me to come closer.
“What’s up?” I asked him as I walked closer to him.
“I think I just finished the song. Come listen to it.” he pulled my arm so that I was closer to him and played the song. I heard the intro and B-Bomb’s blend in with the beat. The chorus came in and as usual Taeil was the one who sang it. A small rap came in with a low voice that was P.O’s. My head slowly bobbed to the beat as it hit the bridge with Zico and Kyung rapping. When the song finish I couldn’t stop myself from smiling. It was perfect, exactly what I was thinking of. I looked at him and he was looking up at expectantly.
“That was amazing! You did great! Everyone did great!” I clapped and high fived him. He got up from his chair and started dancing around. He smiled at me and grabbed my arms to start dancing with him. I laughed and played along.
“Yay! We can start dancing now! Finally!” he chuckled and went to go wake up Kyung. Kyung shook around and woke up he looked at me and was surprised to see me here.
“Did he finally finish?! Yes! I can go home!” he jumped up in the air and ran out of the studio. I laughed at him and looked over at Zico.
“You stayed here all night?” I put my hands on my hips. He nodded slightly not looking at me.
“I had to finish it. Now that I’m done I can rest.” He smiled and plopped on the couch. “Thanks for coming so early. You can leave now.” he said as he stretched. I looked at him annoyed.
“You mean you called me to come over here at eight in the morning just to hear the song and then leave?” I gave him a light glare. He laughed awkwardly and nodded.
“Ehehehe, yeah.” He dragged out his answer and pulled his hat down to cover his eyes. “I’m sorry I just wanted to make sure you liked it.” he sighed and placed his hands behind his head. I sighed and shoved his head lightly to the side. I sat down in the chair he was sitting on a while ago and looked around. “Thanks for coming if you want I’ll invite you to breakfast, how ‘bout it?” he pulled his hat off and looked at me. I smiled but decided not to go.
“Don’t worry I’m good, I’m not that hungry.” I smiled but froze when I heard my stomach growl. Honestly, I didn’t eat anything yet and I was starving but I don’t think Yongguk would enjoy hearing that I went out to breakfast with Zico. He looked at me and smirked.
“Are you sure about that?” he sat up and placed his elbows on his knees. I sighed but still shook my head. “Why? Are you scared about going out for breakfast with me?” he chuckled and stood up. “Come on, it’s not gonna hurt to go eat.” He pulled me up from my seat and I sighed.
“I don’t know, I have to go somewhere soon.” I tried making up an excuse. He sighed and looked at me.
“You have somewhere to go or you just don’t want to go with me?” he looked at me slightly hurt. I sighed and pulled him out the door. I guess it’s fine, I mean it is just two friends going out for breakfast. We walked to the elevator and waited for it to come up. When I saw it open I tensed when I saw Yongguk was in it. He looked from me to Zico and back. I smiled at him and went in the elevator. I saw Zico slowly come in to the elevator with me and looked slightly at Yongguk.
“Hi Yongguk-sshi! Why don’t you join us for breakfast?!” I stood next to him and again he looked from me to Zico and back.
“You guys are… going for breakfast.” He said through clenched teeth. I inwardly sighed and looked at Yongguk’s eyes to see if he could understand. He noticed me and looked into my eyes. It was weird I guess we’re so close that we can talk to each other with eye contact. He sighed but nodded and faked a smile. “No, don’t worry I have some things to do. Enjoy.” He faked another smile and left the elevator but before he left he held my hand and gave it a squeeze making sure Zico didn’t notice. I smiled to myself as I watched him walk away.
