I sat in the waiting room of the doctors office. I didn't want to be there, all I want is to be at home. I didn't want to do anything, I just wanted to go home. I was sent here by my therapist, nothing was wrong with me. I know that. I just matured that's all, people change as they get older, don't they? The nurse called my name and I followed her. She was a little shorter than me, long brown hair with fake lashes, fake smile, fake everything. She took my temperature and took my height and weight before leading me to an examining room. I sat down on the examination table while the nurse gave me a clipboard and said, "fill this out and give it to Dr. Park when he comes in. I nodded and took the clipboard and pen and began to look at the questions. As I went through the questions answering them to the best of my ability. When I was finished, I signed my name and placed it on the desk where the doctor  would sit once he came in. I sat waiting paciently, listening to the clock tick. The handle turned and the man in the white coat came in, Mr. Park. He sat down and looked at me, "Hello Jonghyun." He said. "Hi." I replied. He looked through the paper work that I had filled out. "So tell me Jonghyun, what are you here for?" He asked. I shrug, "I don't know my therapist sent me here." The doctor turned to me and asked, "Why were you going to a therapist?" I look at the older suddenly feeling uncomfortable and replied, "because my parents thought that I had depression." The doctor nodded and flipped through the papers, "well the good news is that you don't have depression." I nodded taking in the information. "However, I do think that you have a personality disorder. Have you ever heard of SPD, Schizoid Personality Disorder?" I shook my head, what the hell is that? He leaned back in his chair and began, "SPD is a personality disorder, the symptoms are; cold, indifferent, interpersonal difficulty, have trouble establishing personal relationships, expressing feelings in a meaningful way, and sometimes ually apathetic. I see this happening in the paper work that you filled out while waiting." Sighing, I didn't really know how to really react so, I just said, "oh..." Mr. Park sighed and said, "When was the last time you went out with your friends?" "2 months ago." The older nodded, " When was the last time you had ? Or had a girlfriend?" I thought for a bit and said, "My last girlfriend was a year ago, same time I had a ." Mr.Park nodded, "see what I'm saying?" I nodded, can I just go home? "So, here is what I want you to do, go out more, hang out with your friends, maybe meet someone. Try expressing some emotion like happiness, sadness. If your having difficulty then give me a call and we will see if we can get you onto some medicine or get you to a different therapist." I nodded and hopped off the table and said, "Thanks."

When I arrived back to my dorm, I released a sigh and went to my room and took out a book and began to read, enjoying my solitude.
