“I think that I like that one the best,” Sehun decided with a satisfied nod, pointing out his chosen car to the overly enthusiastic salesman. “Kai, what do you think?”

“Hmm…oh yeah, uh-huh, that one looks nice,” Kai replied indifferently, looking up from his phone briefly. “You should get it.”

Sehun sighed deeply and gave an apologetic look to the salesman, whose patience with the indecisive couple was wearing thin. Walking over to where his boyfriend was playing Angry Birds on his phone, Sehun grabbed the mobile from Kai’s hands and glared up at him.

“Why are you being like this?” he snapped, crossing his arms across his chest and pursing his lips. “Is this because I’m the one that can drive first? I can’t believe that you’re still mad about that!”

Two weeks ago, Sehun had walked into the house, after passing both the theory and actual driving tests perfectly, brandishing his new driver’s license with pride. He’d expected Kai to play the role of the supportive boyfriend who was thrilled at Sehun’s achievement, but instead he got a ‘nice job’ and a kiss on the forehead before Kai had locked himself in their bedroom and refused to come out for the next three hours. Jealous Kai was something he hadn’t been anticipating, to say the least.

“I am proud of you, love,” Kai sighed, wrapping his arms around Sehun and pulling him into a reassuring hug. “It’s just…I’ve been trying to get my license for nearly six months now. And then you just get it first try – and you’re younger than me!”

“It’s not my fault that you keep failing the theory part,” Sehun retorted half-heartedly, burying his face into the fabric of Kai’s shirt and inhaling his comforting scent. “Perhaps if you actually studied for it…”

“I did the third time I went for it!” Kai grumbled defensively, arms tightening around his lover. “I dunno…perhaps next time will be the one.”

“Kai fighting!” grinned Sehun cheerfully, before he stood on his tip-toes and planted a sloppy kiss on Kai’s cheek.

“Yeah, yeah,” chuckled Kai, feeling his mood lighten – how could he not be happy with Sehun around?! – as they both headed over to the salesman. “Now I think that we should take the car out for a test drive before we buy it…don’t you think, honey?”

“What a great idea,” agreed the salesman, handing the keys over. “Just take it around the block a couple of times to get the feel of it.”

The pair thanked him profusely before getting into the car, with Sehun at the wheel. However, the second that the salesman walked away, Sehun took the key out of the ignition and grinned cheekily at his surprised boyfriend.

“Are we going to take the car for a ride, sweetheart?” he whispered, leaning over and trailing his fingers up his beloved’s muscular chest. “I’ll even let you drive.”

“Well I can’t complain with that,” Kai murmured, unbuckling Sehun’s seatbelt and pulling him onto his lap, until his boyfriend was straddling him.

They didn’t care that they were in full view of anyone who happened to pass that part of the car yard; the only things mattering to them were wandering hands and caressing the other in sensitive places and the lustful feeling that came with passionate kisses.

They sure as hell took that car for a ride.
