“Okay…hold still,” Sehun mumbled, the tip of his tongue poking out of the corner of his mouth, as he concentrated on putting make-up on the squirming male that was his beloved charge. “Just a little mor-Kai! Dammit! Now the bloody eyeliner goes nearly a centimetre more than it’s supposed to!”

“Sorry, Sehun-ah,” Jongin grinned cheekily, before swivelling in his chair to look up at his frustrated coordi with one of his most charming expressions. “I didn’t mean to move.”

“You are most troublesome to deal with – d’ya know that?!” grumbled Sehun, as he grabbed a make-up removing wipe and set about scrubbing the offending line from the corner of Kai’s eye.

“I love you too,” Kai laughed – missing the slight reddening of Sehun’s cheeks – before obediently closing his eyes and freezing in position, allowing a frantic Sehun to finish applying his make-up.

While he was doing the last minute touch-ups, Sehun couldn’t help but to admire the stunningly handsome boy that was the famous K-POP idol, Kai. With dark locks, styled to perfection, enviable sun-kissed skin, deep brown eyes that one could just lose themselves in, and full lips, looking just more delectable whenever he pouted, Kai was pretty much on two legs.

“A-All done,” Sehun stammered, dropping his hands and taking a step back – the closer he was to Kai, the less self-control he seemed to have. “We should go now – you’re on stage in five.”

“Thanks, love,” chuckled Kai, admiring Sehun’s dedicated – and flawless as ever – handiwork in the mirror. “I swear I’d look like the backside of a dog if it wasn’t for you.”

“I don’t think that’s even possible – you’re perfect, with or without make-up,” Sehun blurted out, his eyes widening as he realised just what he’d said.

“If you say so,” Kai smirked, raising his eyebrow in amusement as he watched Sehun blush furiously and turn away, before he headed out the door.

“Where have you been?!” snapped one of the harried producers, directing his panicked fury at a still-red Sehun. “He was supposed to be here ages ago!”

“Well he’s here now,” retorted Sehun, regaining composure as he glared at the annoying man – missing Kai’s appreciative glance in his direction. “So deal with it!”

He’s really hot when he’s sassy…but cute when he’s flustered! Kai thought to himself, as a smile danced freely across his lips.

“Fine, Kai you enter from the left wing – follow me,” growled the still-grumpy producer.

“Where’s my good luck kiss?” Kai asked with a cheeky smile, turning to Sehun and puckering up his lips.

“J-Just get on stage before they kill us both,” replied Sehun, his cheeks staining pink from Kai’s teasing request. “You don’t need luck anyway.”

“Fine – but if I , I blame you,” Kai sighed in disappointment, before walking away with slumped shoulders – this happened at every concert; Kai would ask for a kiss, and Sehun would refuse.

It was getting to the point where the other idols, and their staff members, were betting on how long it would take for Sehun to finally give in and accept Kai’s childish teasing for what it truly was – flirtation.

“Idiot,” sniggered Sehun with a fond smile, as he watched Kai’s retreating back.

His eyes widened in confusion as Kai suddenly stopped, turned around and raced back over to him.

“I’m tired of asking for one – I can’t take it anymore,” he explained breathlessly, before taking Sehun into his arms and pressing their lips together for a chaste kiss.

And as Kai let go of him a moment later, caressed his cheek and told him to meet me backstage after the show, Sehun lightly touched his lips while wolf-whistles and whoops of joy erupted all around him.

“You are most troublesome,” he murmured softly, his face breaking into a delighted grin, as everyone watched Kai ran off to the left wings with spring in his step. “But that’s what I like about you.”
