He’d seen many faces while he danced. Some were painted with envy; others – the slightly more creepy ones – were b with undisguised lust. Either way, Kai didn’t bother to pay attention to the other club patrons while he occupied the dance floor. They held no interest for him.

Beads of sweat trickled down his exposed back, the glistening trails only emphasising the lean muscles rippling under his tanned skin, as his agile body moved to the rhythm of the upbeat song.

“I’m second to none.”

Running a calloused hand through his already-mussed dark locks, Kai inwardly smirked as he did a quick pelvic which resulted in a few wolf whistles and whoops of desire from his watchful crowd.

Raising his eyes, Kai paused to take a quick breather – and these leather pants were more than a tad stifling! – as his curious eyes scanned through the crowd.  As predicted, he saw sinful yearning and appreciation gleaming in many pairs of eyes, while on others there was simply jealousy.

Spinning around to continue dancing, he froze as he saw a new emotion flickering across a person’s face. His eyes widened as he absorbed this gorgeous being, taking in the flawless pale skin, floppy brown locks and lithe frame. When Kai’s gaze finally reached this beautiful boy’s, he saw that new emotion. It looked kind of like…he was wistful about something.

The young man’s eyes grew large as he realised that he’d been caught staring, but before he could turn away and leave, Kai had rushed towards him, clammy hand grabbing onto smooth skin, as he realised why he was wistful.

“Join me,” he whispered into his ear, as he gently pulled him back onto the dance with him, the boy following him willingly.

Kai had finally found a partner.
