Mid-morning rays of sunshine peeked through the cracks between the blinds, illuminating the room in a soft golden glow, as the two occupants continued to slumber in peace, wrapped tightly in each other’s arms. It wasn’t long before their dreams were disturbed as the world around them woke up, and began making noise.

“Mmmph,” grunted the younger of the couple, as a truck rumbled past their house, waking him up with the loud noise.

He snuggled further into the warmth of his lover’s comforting embrace, not ready to enter the waking world. But as the arms around him tightened, he wrenched open his bleary eyes and found himself looking into the loving eyes of his beloved.

“Good morning, Sehun-ah,” the other murmured softly, brushing some stray hair from his boyfriend’s sleepy face as the latter peered up at him. “Did you sleep well?”

He chuckled as Sehun grunted non-committedly and burrowed his face into his chest, before planting light butterfly kisses against his partner’s bare shoulder in an attempt to convince him to stay awake.

“Jongin,” he whined pathetically, looking up at him and pouting adorably. “Can’t we sleep in?”

“It’s nearly ten,” Jongin gently chided, poking one of Sehun’s cheeks. “And I’m hungry.”

“You’re point being…what exactly?” sighed Sehun, giving up on sleeping until midday like he’d originally hoped for.

“Feed me.”

“I’m not your little housewife, Jongin,” grumbled Sehun, frowning at his cheekily grinning companion.

“But you’re the closest I’ll ever get to having one,” he smirked, cupping Sehun’s face with his hands and capturing his lips with his own for a chaste kiss. “And admit it…you love doing it.”

“Well…whatever,” Sehun sulked, knowing that he was caught.

“Don’t be like that, babe,” Jongin said, encircling his arms around his lover again, pulling him close until there was no space between them. “I love it when you do it too.”

Sehun’s lips twitched into a smile, before he pulled Jongin’s head down for a tender kiss. When they broke apart, he reached up and ran his fingers through his hair, mussing it even more, before he groaned and hauled himself out of bed rather unwillingly.

“What do you want for breakfast?” he asked, as he slipped on a pair of pants and tugged on a shirt.

“Hmmm…something sweet, just like you,” Jongin cooed, beaming at Sehun from where he was still lying in bed, limbs sprawled in all directions.

“You are ridiculously cheesy,” he snickered as he headed to the kitchen, deciding to make some waffles to please Jongin.

Humming to himself as he put the waffles in the toaster, Sehun couldn’t help but smile as he felt Jongin wrap his arms around his waist from behind.

“Waffles?” he questioned softly, pressing his lips against the crook of Sehun’s neck, teeth gently nipping at the soft skin. “You can read my mind, my love.”

Sehun closed his eyes, trying not to shiver or moan as Jongin’s plush lips kept grazing against his skin. Not wanting to give him the satisfaction of hearing his voice quiver, he settled for a quick nod of his head.

“Jongin…” he murmured after a few seconds had passed with Jongin’s lips now trailing down his shoulder. “C-Can you get the icecream? And the maple syrup?”

“Anything you ask,” he replied, letting go of Sehun who sagged in relief – it had taken all his self-control not to turn around and kiss Jongin senseless, once again showing that he couldn’t resist the temptation of his devastatingly handsome boyfriend. “Here.”

Sehun was momentarily distracted by Jongin’s warmth as he hugged him again from behind, but he determinedly set about to preparing their breakfast.

“Waffles…a scoop of icecream, and a drizzle of maple syrup on top.”” he muttered to himself, not noticing Jongin’s amused chuckle at his domestic cuteness. “And ta-da; breakfast is served!”

Sehun grabbed the two plates, just as Jongin let go so that Sehun could move around. Whipping around Sehun beamed up at his boyfriend, proud of this morning’s efforts.

“It looks so damn scrumptious that I could just eat every last morsel,” Jongin drawled, the seductive undertone to his voice impossible to miss.

Sehun looked up at him in surprise but when he saw the smouldering look in Jongin’s eyes, he gulped and realised that he wasn’t taking about the food.

“R-Really?”

Jongin his lips as he sauntered towards him, and it was a struggle for Sehun not to swoon from the sheer iness of the act.

“Yes, really.”

The icecream had well and truly melted by the time that they got around to eating those waffles.
