Chapter 7. | Stay the night?

Nara's P.O.V.

Daehyun stayed with me for the rest of the day, at around 6 he suggested that it would be a good idea for him to go home as we had school the next day. I, however was rather apprehensive about being left alone.

Just as Daehyun got up to leave, I stopped him. "Daehyun-ah..." I called, wondering if what I was about to ask would be a stupid idea.

"Ne?" He asked, his eyes full of curiosity. I sighed.

"Would you..." I fiddled with the hem of my shirt, I can't believe I'm about to ask this. "W-would you mind, staying here... for the night?" I asked. Looking up and seeing his shocked face, I started to panic. "It's just, umm, after last night, I don't want to be alone." I added quickly. His eyes softened when he saw the pleading look on my face.

"S-sure, let me just go home to get my uniform. I'll be right back." He stuttered slightly but smiled anyway. I nodded my head and sighed in relief that I wouldn't have to spend the night alone.

Just as he had said, he came back about 30 minutes later. In the time, I had started to cook dinner for the both of us. Daehyun sat at the dining table and watched me cook. This probably sounds weird but even though we didn't exchange many words, I could tell we were both content in each other's company. Which again rose the question in my head.

Why were we so comfortable together in such a short amount of time!?

It was starting to drive me mad... there's no way I could be falling for him, right? 

Temporarily pushing the thought to the back of my head, Daehyun and I sat and ate together. Afterwards we decided to sit and watch some variety shows.

Daehyun's P.O.V.

I was definitely shocked when Nara asked me to stay the night. I can understand why she wanted me there though, if I were her, I wouldn't want to be alone the night after being traumatized by another vampire. Besides, I had promised her that I would be there no matter what happens, and I meant it. The thought of her relying on me to protect her made me feel warm, and important. for once.

We were now sitting on the living room couch watching some variety shows, every now and then Nara would laugh at something funny and I couldn't help but laugh too. Her laugh was like beautiful song to my ears, I wanted to hear it my whole life. Wait what!?

What did I just think? 'My whole life'. Don't be stupid Daehyun, you've barely known her for 2 days, you can't be falling for her. Then why were you kissing her neck earlier? A voice in my head asked knowingly. Just as I was about to call myself crazy, something shook me out of my thoughts.

I felt something land gently on my shoulder. I looked to my side to Nara had fallen asleep, her head now resting on my shoulder. I couldn't help but smile and spent a few minutes taking in her facial features. She had milky white skin that looked so smooth, I couldn't help caressing her face gently, trying not to wake her up. Slowly my thumb made it's way down to her pink lips, they were soft and full, I wondered what it would be like to taste them. What? Jung Daehyun, what are you thinking!? 

I scolded myself as I pulled my hand back, feeling slightly embarrassed at my thoughts. I turned to look at the clock, 10:00 PM... looking back at Nara, it didn't seem like she was going to wake up any time soon. Not wanting to disturb her, I pulled the blanket down from the back of the couch and placed it over both of us. However, I noticed another problem, she looked so uncomfortable. There was only one option.

It's just for one night, I thought as I laid her down, putting her head in my lap. She snuggled closer to me making me smile in satisfaction. I watched her for another five minutes, making sure she was okay before drifted off to sleep as well.

I know I said you'd find out why they were feeling so comfortable around each other is this chapter but then this popped into my head. Please just wait a little longer XD.
