Daehyun walked out of his room but he honestly had no plans of what to do. Plus, if he were to do anything silly right now, Himchan and Youngjae would find out and scold him which Daehyun did not want at all.

If he was going to do anything, he'd wait until it's dark and when everyone was sleeping. Daehyun sighed heavily before he walked out of the school gates and into the real world. The world that hated people like him. The world that cruelly turned their backs against not only him but the others in that school.

They weren't sent to that school because they were special, they were sent there so that they wouldn't cause trouble and were kept under control because if they wanted to, they could easily, on a bigger scale, take over the world... and people were afraid of what they were capable of.

Daehyun smirked at the thought. It was funny how there seemed to be no end to one's greed and selfishness. It was like.. they treated you as a dangerous weapon, taken out when needed but kept away somewhere deep when not wanted. That's what he was. A weapon. Unlike the others, Daehyun's ability was to induce pain and Daehyun knew that his ability could never be approved as 'good'.

Daehyun kicked a rock then looked up to see where he was and smiled bitterly. It was amazing how his legs seemed to have a mind of its own. There was no other explanation as to why he was here, a place he'd never want to see again; his house.

He remembered how the last time he unconsciously came here, the day where he almost killed people and hurt Youngjae. Daehyun scrunched up his nose at the thought and sighed. Yet, here he was again.

Daehyun sat on the opposite side of the road from his house and just kept staring. He stared as people walked past him, he stared as stray cats dug through the trash bins and lastly, he stared as two people who seemed to look very familiar started unlocking the door to the house.

Daehyun glared once before standing up from the ground and started heading his way back to the school until...

"...Daehyun" A shaking voice was heard.

A few hours later, Jongup has woken up from his sleep. He swore he had a weird dream but for some odd reason, he couldn't remember it, at all. And something didn't feel right.. He used to think everything positively and was always bright but ever since he started living in and attending this school, he started worrying about everything and everyone. Especially and strangely, about Daehyun. 

Jongup sighed, even now he was worrying about Daehyun as he saw his roommate nowhere. 

Jongup stood in front of the mirror inside the toilet and smiled brightly. He’ll go back to being the happy, positive Jongup again, he’ll make the best of everything, do all his work on time, go to bed early, wake up early, maybe go jogging in the morning before or after school.

Jongup was brought out from his thoughts as he heard a knock on his door and soon hurried out of the bathroom, unlocking the door and seeing Zelo standing in front of him with a big smile.

“You thought I’d let this project slide, didn’t you? Come on hyung, lets just get this done and over with~ You had your sleep~” Zelo said, walking into the room, then looked around before asking “Daehyun hyung’s not in?”

Jongup blinked then chuckled as Zelo walked in and then shook his head at the question, his smile suddenly fading “Nope…”

“That Daehyun hyung.. always wondering around places causing troubles…” Zelo sighed.

Jongup wanted to say something against that, tell Zelo that Daehyun probably has his reasons but he couldn’t really bring himself up to say it for some unknown reason.

Zelo blinked as he observed Jongup’s face closely.

“Hey hyung… do you perhaps like Daehyung hyung?”

Jongup’s looked at the younger and nodded "Sure. Daehyun hyung's not that bad, I don't hate him"

"No, I mean like.. do you like like him? As in um... more than a friend?"

It took a while for Jongup to register what Zelo was talking about before he started shaking his head with wide eyes.

"N-no!! Of course not! W-what makes you think that..?"

Zelo shrugged, secretly enjoying how Jongup seemed to blush without himself realizing. 

"Just asking, I mean.. there's nothing wrong with liking Daehyun hyung"

Jongup started fading out from his conversation with Zelo, thinking if his actions made it seem like he liked Daehyun in that way and no matter how hard he thought, he didn't think he was being that obviou---

Jongup quickly shook his head. What does he mean by obvious? It's not like he really liked Daehyun now... was it?

Zelo waved his hand in front of Jongup, bringing him back to reality.

Jongup blinked a few times before changing the subject "C-come on! Lets work on the project we have!"

Zelo gave off a sneaky smile before nodding "Lets"

"... Daehyun"

Daehyun stood still, not daring to look back as he held his fists together tighter and gulped. How long has it been since he last heard that voice?

Daehyun breathed calmly and started walking again, one step at a time.

"Daehyun!" as his name was called out once more, a hand reached out and held him by his wrist, making Daehyun freeze in the spot once again.

Daehyun stayed quiet as the voice kept talking, trembling.

"D-Daehyun..? Is it really you honey?"

Daehyun gulped once before replying without looking at the figure.

"I'm sorry.. it seems like you've got the wrong person.."

As those words flowed out of Daehyun's mouth, the grip on his wrist loosened.

"O-oh.. I'm so sorry, I thought you were someone I know.." the figure said, apologizing once more before Daehyun walked away.

'Someone you know...' Daehyun smirked bitterly at the thought as he grew further away from where he was, making his way back.

'So I'm just someone you know...'

"Mom.." 

The figure watched from afar as Daehyun slowly disappeared and smirked, changing from looking like his mom to its normal self.

"Daehyun.. you're one interesting kid.."

Okay, I am so sorry for the really really late update.
I'm sorry for short chapters too and I know this chapter's pretty short as well but short chapters are better than no chapters.. right? No..? OTL either ways I'm sorry.
I've just been really busy and I don't have a lot of time but I will update this fanfic as much as I can and I will try and update with decent lengthed chapters so please please bear with me.

Other than that, can I just say.. I'M GOING TO BAP'S CONCERT! Q A Q My friend got us tickets and it's pretty much right next to the stage omg my tears T u T
