Epilogue

 

 

Sungmin was sitting on the bed while rubbing her tummy. She’s already nine months pregnant. She feels a bit pain on her tummy as she continues to rub it gently

 

“Baby, are you excited to go out?”

 

Sungmin starts talking to her baby inside her womb. She holds her tummy tight as the pain grows

 

“KYU!”

 

Sungmin shouts

 

“Aigoo! My tummy is aching. I think I’m going to give birth now”

 

Sungmin takes a deep breath. The pain continue to grow

 

“Baby, please behave. Mommy is having a hard time now”

 

Sungmin starts panting

 

“Where the hell is he?”

 

Sungmin frowns and starts shouting her husband’s name again. Kyuhyun went out of his walk-in closet wearing his corporate attire

 

“Yes baby? Why are you shouting early in the morning?”

 

“YAH!”

 

Kyuhyun stares at Sungmin and notice her holding her tummy

 

“Baby, please bring me to the hospital. My tummy is aching so much. I think I’m going...oh my goodness, why is it so painful?”

 

Kyuhyun remain standing while staring at her blankly

 

“BABY! I TOLD YOU TO BRING ME TO THE HOSPITAL!”

 

Sungmin shouts

 

“Don’t just stand there! I think I’m going to give birth”

 

Kyuhyun’s eyes widened

 

“What? Oh no, what to do? What to do?”

 

Kyuhyun starts to panic

 

“Wait a second baby....just wait”

 

Kyuhyun runs towards the door

 

“Where are you going? Why are you leaving me?”

 

“I’m just going to call Umma”

 

Kyuhyun opens the door and starts shouting so loud, calling his mother. He then runs towards his wife, holding her hands tight

 

“Aigoo! What am I going to do?”

 

He stares at Sungmin nervously and notice the tears that start forming in her eyes

 

“Was it painful?”

 

Sungmin answers him with a nod. Mrs. Cho arrives at their room with Mr. Cho

 

“What happen?”

 

Kyuhyun stares at his mother nervously

 

“Umma, I think Minnie is going to give birth”

 

“WHAT?”

 

Mr. and Mrs. Cho shout in unison

 

“We need to bring her to the hospital now”

 

“What will I do?”

 

“Pabo! You carry your wife. Aish!”

 

Kyuhyun carries Sungmin with the help of his father and they immediately rushed her at the hospital

 

 

 

 

Kyuhyun was waiting outside the delivery room. He keeps on walking around, staring at his watch every minute. He feels so happy and nervous at the same time. Happy because he will be a daddy now and he’s really excited to see his son. Nervous because he knows that Sungmin will have a hard time on giving birth and he knows that it will be painful and he just can’t accept the fact that Sungmin is in great pain on that moment

 

“Sweetheart”

 

Kyuhyun stops walking and stares at his mother

 

“Minnie, will be ok as well as the baby”

 

“I’m just worried about my wife because she’s in great pain right now. I know that it’s not easy to give birth. I hope that she will be ok and of course our Key”

 

Kyuhyun starts walking again when the doctor came out from the delivery room. She looks so happy and excited. Kyuhyun immediately run towards her

 

“How’s my wife?”

 

Kyuhyun asks her nervously. The doctor smiles brightly at him

 

“Congratulation Mr. Cho, you’re wife just give birth to a healthy baby boy. They are both fine and healthy”

 

Kyuhyun sighs and starts jumping around. He’s so happy that he even hugs Sungmin’s doctor tightly

 

“Thanks a lot doctor. Thank you so much”

 

Kyuhyun told her happily

 

“We’re going to transfer Mrs. Cho in her room right after we cleanup”

 

The doctor bows at her and enters the delivery room again

 

“UMMA! APPA!”

 

Kyuhyun shouts so loud making the people passing by stare at him, but he doesn’t even care at all. He run towards his parents and hugs them tight

 

“I’m already a daddy”

 

Kyuhyun starts jumping like a kid who won on a baseball game

 

“I’M ALREADY A DADDY!!! YES!!!”

 

Kyuhyun shouts happily. Mr. and Mrs. Cho smile at each other and watch their son happily as he continue to jumps happily like a little kid. Kyuhyun doesn’t mind if people start thinking that he’s crazy and he doesn’t care if he looks stupid or what. All he cares about is his wife and baby boy and he’s really happy and proud that he’s already a daddy and he’s really excited to see his baby boy and carries him on his arms

 

 

 

Kyuhyun carefully went inside Sungmin’s room. He smiles brightly upon seeing his wife carrying their child on her arms. She was singing a lullaby for him. Kyuhyun walks towards them and happily sit beside his wife

 

“Where are Umma and Appa?”

 

Sungmin asks his curiously

 

“They went home to get some of our things because we will be staying here for three days. I also told them to tell the news to Hae and Hyukkie and of course to Fany and Siwon”

 

“Why don’t you just call them?”

 

Kyuhyun shook his head

 

“I’m too busy in celebrating here. I’m so happy to be a daddy”

 

He stares at their child happily

 

“He looks so cute right?”

 

“He’s handsome Minnie and not cute”

 

“Handsome and cute”

 

Kyuhyun suddenly frowns while staring at their baby closely

 

“Hey, why is it so unfair? He resembles you a lot than me”

 

Sungmin laughs softly

 

“I hope that he will also get my attitude and not yours or else I’ll be having a lot of hard time taking care of two hard headed and brat boys”

 

Kyuhyun smiles at her

 

“Can I carry him?”

 

Sungmin nods happily and carefully gives the baby to Kyuhyun

 

“How do I carry him?”

 

“Just relax baby”

 

Kyuhyun carries his son on his arms carefully. He smiles brightly while staring on his son. Sungmin notice the tears that fall down from his eyes

 

“Aigoo!”

 

Sungmin wipes them away

 

“Why are you crying?”

 

Kyuhyun shook his head

 

“I’m not crying. Its tears of joy. I’m really happy that I’m finally holding our Key on my arms. It’s really a great joy to be a father and it’s really priceless”

 

Kyuhyun stares at Sungmin

 

“Baby, thank you so much”

 

“For what?”

 

“For everything. For being a good wife, for giving me Key and for giving me a wonderful family. I’m happy, really happy and I cannot ask for more. Having you and Key in my life is enough and it is really a wonderful blessing in my life”

 

Kyuhyun kissed her lips. He smiles at his son and holds his little fingers

 

“Kibum, are you listening to me. It’s me daddy”

 

Kyuhyun laughs softly

 

“Mommy and daddy are really happy for your arrival into our life. You’re our angel and our little prince. I hope you grow healthy and a loving boy. Don’t give mommy and daddy a hard time, arasso? Don’t be hard headed like your mom”

 

“Yah!”

 

Kyuhyun smiles at Sungmin

 

“I’m just telling him the truth, ok?”

 

“Whatever”

 

Kyuhyun stares at Kibum

 

“We love you so much Key. Mommy and daddy are always here to love you, so you need to grow fast and healthy, arasso? You’re name is Kibum, Key for short because you will always be the fruit of our love and you will always be the living proof that your mommy will always hold the Key to my heart. I love you so much and of course I love you mommy too so much. I will take care of both of you and will continue loving you forever. Be a good boy, arasso?”

 

Kyuhyun kissed his forehead

 

“He’s really cute”

 

Kyuhyun’s start to panic when Kibum starts crying

 

“Aigoo! Why is he crying all of a sudden?”

 

Kyuhyun carefully returns him to Sungmin as he starts feeding the baby with her milk

 

“Oh, he’s just hungry”

 

Kyuhyun sighs in relief

 

“I thought there was something wrong. That was a relief”

 

Kyuhyun smiles brightly

 

“Minnie”

 

“Hmmm?”

 

Kyuhyun kissed her forehead

 

“I love you so much. Thank you for this wonderful family. I’m not going to be happy like this without you in my life. I know that nothing is perfect in this world, but having you in my life and having a cute little boy like Kibum, having a wonderful and happy family like this makes my life perfect. Thank you so much baby”

 

Sungmin smiles at him

 

“Life won’t be perfect without you”

 

“Why are we getting so cheesy all of a sudden?”

 

“You’re the one who starts it”

 

They smile at each other. Sungmin kissed his lips

 

“I love you Kyu”

 

Kyuhyun smiles at her

 

“I love you Minnie and Key. I will always love you and promise to take care of you forever”

 

Kyuhyun starts singing a sweet lullaby while holding his son’s little hand. Sungmin and Kyuhyun watches their angel happily as he closes his eyes, sleeping peacefully on his mother’s caring arms while listening to his father’s sweet and calming voice
