Chapter 17

 

 

Sungmin was sitting on Kyuhyun’s chair while listening very carefully to her loving husband. Kyuhyun was walking around his office like a Professor giving some lecture to his student. He was teaching Sungmin about some golden rules in having an effective business meeting

 

“The first golden rule that you need to know in having a business meeting is to meet your purpose. You must know your main agenda. What are the things that you need to target during the meeting?”

 

Sungmin write it down on her pink notebook

 

“Don’t make the meeting that long. Always go straight to the point. Clarify all the things that you need to clarify and discuss everything that is needed to be discussed in a simple way that everyone can understand. Don’t go beyond the topic so you won’t waste a lot of time”

 

Sungmin nods at him

 

“The second golden rule that you need to remember is planning”

 

Kyuhyun stares at Sungmin

 

“Yes Professor Cho? Is there something wrong on my face?”

 

Sungmin notice him staring at her red lips. She bites her lips to seduce him

 

“Ms. Lee Sungmin, I forgot to tell you something”

 

Sungmin flashes her seductive smile

 

“You forgot to tell me about what?”

 

“Inside the classroom, flirting with your Professor is not allowed”

 

“Can you resist me?”

 

“Of course I can”

 

“Ok. Let’s see”

 

Kyuhyun look at the book that his holding to avoid staring at his wife

 

“Where are we?”

 

“Planning”

 

Kyuhyun clears his throat

 

“As I was saying awhile ago, the second golden rule in having an effective business meeting is planning. Of course before you conduct a meeting or before you go in a meeting...”

 

Kyuhyun stops talking. He stares at Sungmin and notice her smiling while drawing something on her notebook. Kyuhyun cough

 

“Ms. Lee Sungmin”

 

“I’m listening”

 

Kyuhyun walks towards her and snatch her notebook

 

“Maybe you can just major in Arts rather than in business. Why not become an Artist rather than a CEO? It seems that you’re much interested in drawing a baby wearing a pumpkin costume rather than listening to me”

 

Sungmin pouts

 

“I’m listening to you”

“Ms. Lee Sungmin, is that the proper way a lady should sit? Do you want me to send you in an etiquette class? And if you don’t mind, you’re wearing a skirt. Please don’t sit like that because you’re exposing your skin too much”

 

“And you’re falling for it Professor Cho”

 

Sungmin smiles at him and sits properly. Kyuhyun walks towards her. He kneels on the floor and rests his head on Sungmin’s lap

 

“Are you not feeling well again?”

 

Kyuhyun nods at her. Sungmin starts his hair gently

 

“I told you that you should rest at home and not to go to work today”

 

Kyuhyun close his eyes

 

“But you’re the one who keeps on insisting that we should go here and teach you about having a business meeting. You keep on nagging me that you need to go here because you’re going to look for a good business book”

 

“I can go alone”

 

“Do you think I’ll allow you to go alone? You’re pregnant, what if something bad happens to you?”

 

Kyuhyun hugs Sungmin’s legs while resting his head on her lap

 

“I need to learn from you because I’m going to attend some of your business meetings when you’re not around”

 

Kyuhyun smile

 

“You don’t trust me?”

 

Kyuhyun stares at her

 

“Of course I do. I always trust you”

 

Kyuhyun kissed her knee and stand up

 

“We need to continue”

 

“Can we take a break?”

 

Kyuhyun raises his eyebrow

 

“What? We’re just starting and you already want to take a break”

 

Sungmin sighs

 

“But I’m already tired”

 

“Why are you so lazy? CEOs don’t take break because time is very important to us and that’s the thing that you need to practice. If you become lazy, nothing will happen to your business”

 

Sungmin grabs her notebook on Kyuhyun’s hand

 

“Let’s just take a break for thirty minutes”

 

“No”

 

“Ten minutes”

 

No”

 

Sungmin pouts

 

“Yah! I want to have a rest for ten minutes, that’s final. Our baby Kyumin is also tired”

 

Sungmin smile and continue drawing on her notebook happily. Kyuhyun frowns at her

 

“Baby, will you please stand?”

 

“Why?”

 

“I’m going to sit on my chair. I’m going to do something. You sit on the couch”

 

Sungmin stand up. Kyuhyun sits on his chair. Sungmin smile and sits on his lap

 

“Minnie, I’m going to do something”

 

“You can do that later”

 

“But I need to review some pointers for my meeting with Mr. Park at the end of the month”

 

Sungmin stops drawing and stares at Kyuhyun

 

“Do you really need to do it at the end of the month?”

 

Kyuhyun nods at her

 

“Can you not make it earlier?”

 

Kyuhyun shook his head

 

“We’re going in Australia after our engagement party on Saturday. I’m going to attend a business expo there with Appa and of course we’re going to have vacation there as I promise Umma”

 

“Then do it before we go in Australia”

 

“Mr. Park is not here in Seoul. He’s in America right now. I still don’t know when he will return here in Seoul. I think the best way to make the deal is at the end of the month. Don’t worry because Mr. Park already knows about it. I already deposited the ten billion dollars and Hae is currently starting the project in Incheon. Mr. Park just needs to sign on the contract”

 

Sungmin stares at him nervously

 

“But baby, you’re the one who told me awhile ago that time is very important to every CEO. I want you to do it earlier. What if someone is planning to steal that deal? What will happen to Cho Corporation if someone is planning to sabotage the deal between you and Mr. Park? You can’t just take it easy. There are a lot of things that might happen”

 

Kyuhyun stares at her curiously

 

“Look, I know that I’m interfering too much about your business, but I’m just concern. I don’t want you to lose everything including this company. I know how much it means to you. Baby, please, I’m just asking you to talk immediately to Mr. Park and secure the deal”

 

Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s face between his hands

 

“Is there something going on? Why are you telling me this?”

 

Sungmin holds his hand

 

“Do you trust me?”

 

“Of course I trust you and you know that, why?”

 

Sungmin shook her head and rest it on his chest

 

“I want you to trust me until the end, arasso?”

 

Kyuhyun hugs her

 

“Of course I will”

 

“I’m always here for you. Our baby Kyumin and I will always be here for you”

 

Sungmin yawns like a child

 

“Baby, can we sleep? I suddenly feel so sleepy”

 

“You can sleep on the sofa so you’ll feel more comfortable”

 

Sungmin shook her head

 

“Let’s just stay like this. I want to sleep on top of you. You can review your pointers later”

 

“Arasso”

 

Sungmin smile and slowly close her eyes

 

“Sleep tight my Princess”

 

Kyuhyun hugs her tight and slowly close his eyes, joining Sungmin in dreamland

 

 

 

 

Donghae was sitting inside his office. He was taking some rest after working in Incheon for Kyuhyun’s new projects. He closes his eyes while thinking about his girlfriend happily

 

“I wonder what Hyukkie is doing right now”

 

Donghae giggles happily

 

“I’m so excited to introduce her to Minnie, Kyuhyun and of course to Fany and Siwon. I’m sure they are going to like my doctor”

 

Donghae slowly opens his eyes when he heard his mobile phone ringing

 

“The person that I’m avoiding is calling me again”

 

Donghae takes a deep breath before answering the call

 

“Yes Appa?”

 

“It’s good that you answer your phone. I keep on calling you don’t you know that”

 

“I’m sorry, but I’m busy right now”

 

Mr. Lee coughs

 

“Are you trying to avoid me my son?”

 

“Why will I do that Appa?”

 

Mr. Lee smirks

 

“Who told you to accept the deal and become Cho Kyuhyun’s contractual for his new projects?”

 

Donghae’s eyes widened

 

“You’re busy because you’re already starting working on it right?”

 

“How did you know about it?”

 

Donghae stand up

 

“Where are you Appa?”

 

“I have eyes in Seoul sweetheart”

 

Donghae’s heart beat starts beating fast. He starts to feel nervous for Kyuhyun

 

“Don’t you dare sabotage the deal Appa”

 

Mr. Lee laughs softly

 

“Don’t worry because you’re sister is helping me”

 

“What do you mean by that? Will you please stop bothering my sister? She’s pregnant ok”

 

Mr. Lee’s eyes widened

 

“She’s what?”

 

“Pregnant and this time it’s real. Stop bothering her and don’t pressure her too much. It will be bad for the baby. Just fight fairly Appa. If you’re mad at Mr. Cho then don’t involve Kyuhyun here. Honestly, you’re the only one who always wants to compete. Mr. Cho never wants you to be his rival. You’re the only one who always think that way”

 

“I need to involve Cho Kyuhyun here because he’s stealing the Park Corporation”

 

“If you want the Park Corporation then you need to fight fairly”

 

“Why will I do that if your sister already gives me the complete details of the contract?”

 

Donghae almost drops his jaw. He can’t believe what he just heard

 

“What? Are telling me the truth”

 

“Yes. Minnie sends me the original copy of the complete details about the deal. Your sister is really smarter than you. She obeys her father unlike you”

 

Donghae bite his lips

 

“I’m already preparing everything for my meeting with Mr. Park in Seoul”

 

“When are you going here?”

 

“Why will I tell you?”

 

Mr. Lee smiles and hangs up

 

“Yeoboseo? Appa!”

 

Donghae dials his father’s number

 

“Your call has been transferred to a voice mailbox number”

 

Donghae slams his hand on his desk

 

“Aish! Why is he so evil?”

 

He sits on his chair and takes a deep breath

 

“What the hell is wrong with you Minnie? Why did you do it? Aish!”

 

Donghae dials Sungmin’s number

 

“Your call has been transferred to a voice mailbox number”

 

Donghae stares on his mobile phone

 

“Lee Sungmin, why on earth did you turn off your mobile phone at time like this? Aish!”

 

Donghae sighs

 

“I need to talk to her”

 

Donghae dials Kyuhyun’s number, but he’s not answering his phone

 

“Damn it Kyu! Answer your phone. Aish! What the hell is happening to the people?”

 

Donghae’s secretary knocks on the door before going inside his office

 

“Mr. Lee”

 

He bows at him

 

“Mr. Hwang is already here”

 

Donghae nods at him

 

“Please assist him at conference room 9. I’ll be there in a minute”

 

“Arasso”

 

He bows at Donghae before going out. Donghae dials Sungmin’s number and leaves a message on her voice mailbox number

 

“Aish! You’re making my head ache Minnie. I can’t believe that you can do it to the man you love”

 

Donghae takes a deep breath and went out of his office

 

 

 

 

Sungmin was walking around the Cho Corporation while reading a very thick book about business. She feels so bored sitting alone inside her husband’s office that’s why she decided to walk around to catch some air. She went at the Al fresco

 

“It’s good that they have a have an Al fresco here”

 

Sungmin sits on the lounger while feeling the fresh temperature

 

“I’ll just stay here for the meantime while waiting for my baby Kyu to finish his meeting with his Board of Directors”

 

Sungmin giggles happily while feeling the fresh air and the wind that blows gently. She removes her shoes and comfortably sits on the lounger, feeling at home. She continues reading the book while lying on the lounger happily when she heard someone talking

 

“Is that a ghost?”

 

Sungmin closes the book when she heard the voice getting louder and closer. She heard footsteps. Sungmin immediately stands up and wears her shoes and hide at the corner

 

“Now, what is he doing here? And who is he talking over the phone?”

 

Sungmin focus her eyes on Shindong who is busy talking to someone over the phone

 

“If I’m not mistaken, he’s one of Kyu’s Junior Executive”

 

Sungmin whispers and focus her attention to him, trying to catch every word that he’s saying

 

“Mr. Lee”

 

Sungmin’s eyes widened while listening to Shindong

 

“I already send you the complete details of the ten billion contract”

 

“Can you not convince Cho Kyuhyun to lower the deal?”

 

Shindong shook his head

 

“He doesn’t want to listen to me and he’s such a brat that it’s hard for me to persuade him”

 

“But you just told me that he’s already starting the project in Incheon”

 

Shindong nods at him

 

“Yes Mr. Lee. Mr. Cho is already executing his new projects in Incheon and that’s with the help of your son”

 

Mr. Lee bites his lips

 

“Mr. Shin, you need to do something in order to sabotage that project or else he will steal the Park Corporation instantly. You need to do everything to stop that project and don’t let Mr. Park sign the contract or else we will lose to him. You need to convince him to lower the deal into three billion dollars because I don’t have a big money to compete on his ten billion dollar budget. Damn it! He’s just a 27 year old kid and I must not lose to him”

 

Shindong flash an evil smile

 

“Don’t worry Mr. Lee. You’ll win over him. You’ve got the ace and that’s your daughter. You just need to pressure her and I’m sure that she can help you convince that brat kid to lower the deal because your daughter is that brat’s weakness”

 

Shindong and Mr. Lee laugh

 

“You just need to use your enemy’s weakness against him for you to dominate him. That brat still needs to learn a lot of things before he can topple you down. He’s just a kid and I’m sure that he can’t get the deal and he will just put his father’s name on shame”

 

Mr. Lee nods his head

 

“You’re right. He may be smart, but I’m still smarter than him”

 

“Before I go, I have some great news for you Mr. Lee”

 

Shindong smirks

 

“Eight of his Board of Directors already pulls out their share in Cho Corporation”

 

“Really?”

 

“Yes because I’m good in convincing them and since those eight Board of Directors are not in favor of Mr. Cho’s plan, they already pull their shares and I told them to invest it in your company. You just gain new investors”

 

“Job well done Mr. Shin. I’ll give you the position that you want”

 

“Arasso. You can relax now Mr. Lee because I’m assuring you that he will lose in this game and you can easily dominate Cho Corporation in the future because Cho Kyuhyun is going down. By the way, you must talk to Mr. Park as early as possible because Mr. Cho is planning to meet him at the end of the month. I’ve heard that Mr. Park will be back in Seoul next week and that’s the time wherein Mr. Cho will go in Australia with your daughter to attend some business expo with his father and of course to have vacation with your daughter. You can grab the opportunity while he’s away”

 

“Good job Shindong. I’ll see you here in LA”

 

“Yes Mr. Lee”

 

Shindong hangs up and left the place. Sungmin sits on the lounger as her knees start trembling

 

“Aigoo! This can’t be happening. I need to do it fast. I need to finish everything and get talk to Mr. Park and get that deal before Appa can do it or else Kyu will be in great trouble”

 

Sungmin takes a deep breath

 

“I need to talk to Oppa”

 

Sungmin leaves the place and return inside Kyuhyun’s office. She gets her mobile phone inside her bag and turns it on

 

“I have one message on my voice mailbox”

 

Sungmin press one to listen to her voice mailbox number

 

Minnie, we need to talk. Call me when you received this message

 

Sungmin was about to press her brother’s number when her mobile phone rings

 

“Yes Appa?”

 

“I’ve already open my email. Are you sure about the contract details that you have send me?”

 

Sungmin sits on Kyuhyun’s chair

 

“Why are you asking?”

 

“Nothing”

 

“Nothing?”

 

Sungmin raised her eyebrow

 

“You don’t believe your own daughter? You believe Mr. Shin more than your own daughter”

 

Mr. Lee’s eyes widened

 

“Do you think I’m really stupid Appa? Do you think I will not find out who is the real spy here in Cho Corporation? To tell you the truth, I’ve already talk to my husband. If you will not believe the details that I’ve send you then you will lose the game Appa. You’re the one who told me to convince him to lower the deal. That’s what I did and that’s what I send you”

 

Sungmin clears

 

“I just did what you want and I give you what you need. Did you ever think the hardship that I overcome just to convince him? I flirt with him even though I’m already pregnant, just to convince that brat to lower the deal just for you and you’re not going to believe me? Aigoo! What kind of father are you? Aish! Don’t waste my effort ok”

 

Sungmin bites her lips because of anger

 

“Calm down Minnie. Of course I believe you my baby girl”

 

“Do you really think that I will choose that brat over my own father? I’m his weakness and I’m using that weakness to dominate him. Appa, we can dominate Cho Corporation instantly because I’m smarter than Cho Kyuhyun. I’ll manipulate the corporation upon my marriage to him”

 

Mr. Lee laughs softly

 

“That’s my girl. You’re really better than your brother. Hae is not thinking because he always favor his brat best friend”

 

“Because they are both brat”

 

“Thanks a lot Minnie. I really don’t know what to do without you”

 

“I guess we’re really lucky Appa because Cho Kyuhyun loves me so much. I’m going to use that love to manipulate him. In this game, there will always be a winner...only one winner”

 

“And that’s me”

 

Sungmin smirks

 

“Of course it’s you Appa. Good luck on stealing the deal and make sure that Cho Kyuhyun will lose the game”

 

“Arasso baby girl. Thank you”

 

“No problem”

 

Sungmin hangs up and stares at her mobile phone

 

“. Do you think I’m going to let you steal the deal? Not so fast Appa. I won’t let you destroy my husband’s company. I’m going to destroy your company first before you can destroy my husband’s company. In this game, there is only one who will win and that’s not you because an evil person like you doesn’t deserve to win. Aish!”

 

Sungmin gets the folder inside her bag. She opens it and stares at the POA that she made

 

“Kyu must sign this POA so I can represent him while he’s in Australia. I need to make some drama so my doctor won’t allow me to fly in Australia”

 

Sungmin sighs

 

“Lee Sungmin, you can do it. Get that deal before your father can steal it away from your husband. I don’t care anymore if Kyu will be mad at me if he finds out about it. I’m just doing this for his own good. This is the only option that I can think in order to protect him from my father”

 

Sungmin holds her tummy

 

“Baby, let’s protect your daddy against your evil grandpa. You need to be good inside mommy’s womb so it won’t be hard for me. We need to meet Mr. Park and talk to him to get the deal before your evil grandpa can steal it away from your daddy. You need to help mommy in protecting daddy, arasso?”

 

Sungmin was about to give Donghae a call when Kyuhyun enters his office. He looks so depressed and worried while talking to his father over the phone

 

“What the hell are you doing Kyuhyun? What’s going on there? How can you let those eight members of the board pull out their shares in our company?”

 

Kyuhyun massage his temple

 

“Appa, it’s their decision. Cho Corporation can still stand without them. I don’t need people who are no—“

 

“YAH! STOP FOOLING AROUND!!!”

 

Mr. Cho shouts over the phone

 

“Do you realize what just happen?”

 

Kyuhyun didn’t speak

 

“CHO KYUHYUN! I’M ASKING YOU!!!”

 

Mr. Cho takes a deep breath

 

“You’re just an over confident kid who will always be proud of his self. You’re just a brat kid. I’m so disappointed. I guess my business partners are right. You really can’t stand on your own”

 

“Appa, please give me another chance. I’ll prove you wrong. I’ll prove to you that I can manage Cho Corporation properly and I’m the rightful President of this company”

 

“Second chance? Why should give you another chance?”

 

“Appa, I work hard to make this company grow and you know that. The company can still stand even if they already pull out their shares”

 

“We already lose a big money”

 

Kyuhyun takes a deep breath

 

“Then I’ll give it back to you. I’ll give it back to you when I get the Park Corporation to sign a contract on us. I already prepare everything”

 

“How can you still execute your new projects knowing that you already lose some good investors?”

 

Kyuhyun didn’t answer

 

“How can you waste a lot of money for your projects? You’re going to waste ten billion dollars for that? You should just listen to them”

 

“But I have my own decision and I’m the President of this company. I may lose eight investors, but I don’t need them. Cho Corporation needs loyal people who will be with me until the end. Please trust me Appa. I’ll give you the Park Corporation. I won’t disappoint you again”

 

“I just want to remind you son, if you will fail to get the deal. Please pack all your things and be ready to step out of Cho Corporation”

 

“Arasso”

 

Mr. Cho sighs

 

“One more thing, I won’t be there in your engagement celebration on Saturday”

 

Kyuhyun frowns

 

“Why?”

 

“I have an important business to do. Your mom will arrive there on Friday night. Please tell Minnie, but I really can’t come. I’m really sorry”

 

“Arasso”

 

“I’ll just see you in Australia next week”

 

Kyuhyun hang up. He sits on the sofa and closes his eyes. Sungmin walks towards him. She sits beside Kyuhyun and hugs him

 

“It’s ok baby. It’s not your fault”

 

Sungmin his hair gently

 

“I don’t know what to do. It’s not that the company is going down, but that’s still a lot of money and if Mr. Park will know about this, it will be hard for me to convince him knowing that I lose eight great investors because of this project. I really disappoint Appa this time”

 

Sungmin holds his face between her hands

 

“But we still have the Park Corporation. We still have a battle to fight with. If you will lose hope then you’re already giving up Cho Corporation that easy. You’re the President and you must prove it to them. Don’t throw away all your hard work”

 

Kyuhyun nods at her. He brushes his nose from hers and gently kissed Sungmin’s lips

 

“Thank you for being here with me. You’re my strength. I’m going to overcome this entire problem because you’re always there to support me and of course...”

 

Kyuhyun smile and holds Sungmin’s tummy

 

“It’s also because of our baby Kyumin”

 

Kyuhyun lean on Sungmin’s tummy to talk to their baby inside her womb

 

“Baby, its daddy talking to you. Thank you for giving me strength. You and your mom are my strength. Daddy will make it because of you. Are you listening to me?”

 

Kyuhyun stares at Sungmin

 

“Baby Kyumin, can hear me right?”

 

“Of course baby, just talk to our little angel because our baby Kyumin is listening”

 

Kyuhyun smiles brightly while rubbing Sungmin’s tummy

 

“Stay healthy inside mommy’s womb, arasso? I love you little angel. You’re such a great blessing to us and I know that you will bring joy in our life. Daddy is really excited to see you, but since your mom and I still need to wait for a long time for us to see you, you should promise daddy that you will be safe there. Be healthy and always stay safe. We love you so much baby”

 

Kyuhyun kissed Sungmin’s tummy and lay down on his wife’s lap

 

“Minnie”

 

“Yes?”

 

Kyuhyun holds her hand

 

“I’m really excited to see our baby Kyumin, but I still need to wait for eight more months for me to see our baby. What do you think is the good name for our baby?”

 

“I thought it will be Kyumin? Since everyone is calling him baby Kyumin”

 

Kyuhyun pouts

 

“Really? I thought it’s just a short cut for Kyuhyun and Sungmin’s baby that’s why baby Kyumin. Well, if we’re going to name our baby like that...”

 

He stares at Sungmin

 

“Don’t you think it’s a bit ugly?”

 

Kyuhyun laugh when Sungmin frowns

 

“Yah! Ugly? Aigoo!”

 

Sungmin holds her tummy

 

“Baby, this is mommy talking to you. Your daddy thinks that your name is ugly. You need to kick him when you come out from my womb, arasso?”

 

Kyuhyun starts laughing hard

 

“He’s even laughing baby. You need to punch him when you come out”

 

“Minnie, don’t teach our baby Kyumin to be a war freak like you and Fany”

 

Kyuhyun holds her tummy again

 

“Baby, I was just kidding. Your name is not ugly. I just find it so cheesy. I mean, Kyumin...seriously, are you going to like it if we name you Kyumin? Are you going to like it if we name you after my name and your mom’s name? It sounds so cheesy right?”

 

“Then what name do you want?”

 

“International name?”

 

Sungmin raised her eyebrow while Kyuhyun’s hair

 

“And what the hell is that international name?”

 

Kyuhyun holds his lips to think

 

“Well, maybe we can name the baby Carel Justine if he’s a boy and Arianna Margarette if she’s a girl. That’s the International name that I’m talking about. It’s much beautiful than Kyumin”

 

“YAH!”

 

Sungmin shouts. Kyuhyun covers his ears

 

“Baby, do you need to shout? I almost lose my eardrums”

 

Sungmin pinches his nose

 

“Ouch! I’m being battered again by my pregnant wife”

 

Kyuhyun stares at his watch

 

“Baby, we need to go”

 

Kyuhyun sits on the sofa

 

“I almost forgot about it”

 

“What?”

 

“The fish called me awhile ago before we go here. He’s inviting us for lunch at Intercontinental Hotel”

 

“Why?”

 

Kyuhyun smiles at her

 

“I bet he will introduce his new girl”

 

“Oppa told you?”

 

Kyuhyun shook his head

 

“I’m just guessing because he sounds so happy over the phone. He just told me that we need to join him in lunch at the Intercontinental Hotel because he will introduce a very important matter to us. I’m guessing that he will introduce his new girl”

 

“Do you think it’s the girl that we just saw with him yesterday?”

 

Kyuhyun nods happily

 

“The very important matter that he needs to attend, exchanging a very important meeting with Mr. Erizawa. That fish is really a fish. He’s really good in catching women”

 

Kyuhyun suddenly laugh

 

“What is wrong with you? Why are you laughing all of a sudden?”

 

“I think they will be a best couple because the girl looks like an anchovy”

 

“What?”

 

“Anchovy. You know? The common salt water forage fish”

 

Sungmin pouts and hits his shoulder

“A very beautiful anchovy”

 

Kyuhyun holds his tummy while laughing hard. He starts rolling on the carpeted floor, laughing so hard

 

“Will you please stop laughing?”

 

“Yah! When Nemo finds his anchovy. That will be a great title of a book. They will be the fish couple. Fishy Donghae really knows how to choose a girl; a fish like him”

 

“Yah! Cho Kyuhyun!”

 

Kyuhyun stops laughing

 

“We need to go now before I kick you”

Kyuhyun bites his lips to control his laughter. He takes a deep breath and stand up. He stares at Sungmin and starts laughing again

 

“Aigoo! I’m going crazy because of you”

 

Sungmin gets her bag on the couch and went outside

 

“Baby! Wait for me”

 

Kyuhyun wears his back pack and run outside, still laughing so hard

Tiffany waves her hand

 

“Minnie! Kyu!”

 

Sungmin smiles brightly upon seeing her cousin

 

“It’s Fany Unnie”

 

“What is she doing here?”

 

Sungmin drags Kyuhyun towards Tiffany

 

“Oh my gosh! Siwon Oppa”

 

Sungmin hugs her cousin in law

 

“I miss you Oppa. It’s good to see you again”

 

“It’s good to see you. How are you our darling crybaby girl?”

 

Sungmin smiles brightly

 

“I’m going to be a mommy soon”

 

Siwon pinches her cheek and smile

 

“That’s good news. I’m happy to hear that. Fany told it to me”

 

Siwon stares at Kyuhyun

 

“How’s my brat friend?”

 

“He’s still a brat Oppa”

 

Siwon laugh softly and ruffles Kyuhyun’s hair

 

“Don’t touch my hair Siwon!”

 

“Aigoo! You’re still a grumpy brat young master. Seriously, you’re going to be a father soon”

 

“What are you doing here with your war freak fiancée?”

 

Kyuhyun sits beside Sungmin

 

“Hae invites us here”

 

“REALLY”

 

Sungmin and Kyuhyun shout in unison. Siwon and Tiffany nod at them

 

“How about you guys?”

 

“Oppa, also invite us here”

 

“Is this some kind of a reunion?”

 

Siwon ask them. Kyuhyun shook his head and smile

 

“Our Fishy Donghae will introduce his anchovy to us”

 

“ANCHOVY?”

 

Tiffany and Siwon shout

 

“Yes”

 

“A pet?”

 

Kyuhyun laugh, Sungmin elbows him

 

“Yah! You’re laughing again”

 

Kyuhyun holds his tummy while laughing hard

 

“Pabo Siwon! How can an anchovy become a pet? Seriously, you can actually eat it”

 

Tiffany stares at her fiancé

 

“Honey, what the hell are you talking about? Kyu is right. Since when did an anchovy become a pet?”

 

Tiffany laughs

 

“What’s with the anchovy?”

 

“Oppa, don’t listen to my husband. It’s not an anchovy. She’s a girl”

 

Tiffany and Siwon’s eyes widened

 

“Since when did that fish had a girlfriend?”

 

“Yesterday. Kyu and I saw him with a girl yesterday at Battered Sole”

 

Siwon lean closer to Sungmin

 

“Maybe they are only friends”

 

Sungmin shook her head

 

“I don’t think so because Oppa exchange a very important meeting just to have a date with her”

 

Siwon stares at her blankly

 

“That fish was supposed to attend a meeting with our business partner who came from Japan. But instead of coming, he told me that he will attend an important matter regarding his company so I attend the meeting with Mr. Erizaw. Minnie and I happen to see him with that girl anchovy at Battered Sole when we’re having our lunch there”

 

Tiffany coughs

 

“I thought Hae is a gay?”

 

Siwon and Kyuhyun start laughing

 

“Honey, how can you suspect your own cousin as a gay?”

 

“Because he always cling with Kyu and he even kissed him whenever he’s around”

 

Siwon shook his head while laughing

 

“That’s the way he teases Kyu. We just as a gay because he always told us that he will be single forever so he won’t have a head ache”

 

“Mind you Fany, that fish is really good in girls”

 

Kyuhyun sighs and stares at Siwon

 

“Hey horse, since when did you arrive?”

 

“Awhile ago, I’m here for your engagement party on Saturday. Fany told me about it”

 

“It’s good that you will attend because you always keep yourself busy in California. Are you going to stay there when you get married?”

 

“I don’t know. Maybe”

 

Siwon smiles at Kyuhyun

 

“How’s Cho Corporation?”

 

Kyuhyun’s face suddenly become serious

 

“I just lose eight Board of Directors today”

 

“What? Why?”

 

“I don’t need them. It’s their choice to leave and pull out their shares in the company.”

 

Kyuhyun notice Siwon’s worried face

 

“I’m fine ok. Let’s not talk about that thing because the fish and his anchovy are already here”

 

Donghae happily walk towards them while holding Hyuk Jae’s hand

 

“Sorry we’re late. I wait for Hyukkie to finish her duty”

 

Donghae smiles brightly

 

“Hi Mr. Choi”

 

They stare at Hyuk Jae who is smiling at Siwon

 

“So you’re the girlfriend of my cousin in law”

 

Hyuk Jae nods happily. Donghae cough

 

“You guys know each other?”

 

Siwon and Hyuk Jae nod

 

“Well, he’s the grandson of President Choi”

 

“Oh yes. I forgot that Siwon is the grandson of the owner of that hospital “

 

Siwon nods happily

 

“And Doctor Lee is one of our best doctors. She’s the head of the Surgery Department”

 

Sungmin moves closer to Kyuhyun

 

“Baby, Oppa is really good in choosing a girl”

 

Kyuhyun nod

 

“I bet she’s really genius”

 

“But she still looks like an anchovy”

 

Kyuhyun laugh softly

 

“Yah!”

 

“Look at her closer and you will see”

 

Sungmin pouts and stares at Hyuk Jae

 

“I don’t think so. She’s very pretty”

 

“Just focus your eyes on her”

 

Hyuk Jae notice Sungmin staring at her while pouting

 

“Aigoo!”

 

Sungmin was shock when Hyuk Jae pinches her cheeks

 

“Aigoo! You’re such a cute creature. I never saw such cute creature like you. You’re the cutest”

 

Kyuhyun frowns and hit Hyuk Jae’s hands

 

“Yah! What do you mean by creature? Don’t touch my wife anchovy girl. She’s a human being and not a creature”

 

Hyuk Jae smiles at Sungmin

 

“Are you fish’s little sister?”

 

Sungmin stares at her blankly

 

“Fish?”

 

Hyuk Jae nods at her

 

“I’m talking about your brother. He’s fish right?”

 

Kyuhyun suddenly laugh

 

“Of course you’re right Ms. Anchovy because Hae is a fish”

 

Sungmin steps on Kyuhyun’s foot and stares at him seriously

 

“Will you please stop laughing?”

 

“But you don’t need to step on my foot”

 

Sungmin pouts making Hyuk Jae giggles happily

 

“You’re so cute sweetheart”

 

“Thank you”

 

Donghae claps his hand to catch their attention

 

“Ok. Let me introduce to all of you my girlfriend. She’s a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon. Her name is Lee Hyuk Jae”

 

Hyuk Jae bows at them

 

“It’s nice to meet all of you”

 

She flashes a bright smile

 

“Since you already know my friend Siwon, the girl sitting beside him is his fiancée. She’s my ever beautiful cousin”

 

“It’s nice to meet you”

 

Tiffany smiles at Hyuk Jae

 

“I’m Stephanie Hwang. Just call me Tiffany or Fany for short. Please take care of my cousin”

 

“No problem Fany”

 

Donghae smile and look at Kyuhyun and Sungmin

 

“The cute creature that you’re talking about is my little sister whom I love most”

 

Sungmin stares at Hyuk Jae

 

“I’m Lee Sungmin. Nice to meet you Unnie”

 

Sungmin smiles at her

 

“You’re really cute sweetheart. I want to take you home with me”

 

Donghae laugh softly

 

“That thing will never happen because Kyu will never allow you to take his wife home”

 

Hyuk Jae’s eyes widened

 

“She’s already married? She’s so young for marriage”

 

“But I’m already twenty four years old Unnie”

 

“Really?”

 

Sungmin nods at her

 

“Oh dear, I thought you’re only 18 years old”

 

“I’m going to be a mommy soon”

 

“You’re pregnant?”

 

Sungmin nods happily

 

“One month”

 

Sungmin holds her tummy

 

“You must meet our baby Kyumin too”

 

Hyuk Jae smiles brightly. She walks towards Sungmin and rubs her tummy

 

“Hi baby Kyumin. I’m Lee Hyuk Jae and I’m your Uncle Fish’s girlfriend. Be good inside your mommy’s womb, arasso?”

 

Hyuk Jae stares at Sungmin

 

“Seriously Minnie, you look like an 18 year old kid”

 

Hyuk Jae stares at Kyuhyun

 

“He’s your husband?”

 

Sungmin nod

 

“I see. He’s handsome”

 

Kyuhyun smirk

 

“Of course I am”

 

He coughs and flashes a proud smile

 

“Let me introduce myself to you Ms. Anchovy. I’m Cho Kyuhyun. The very handsome and smart CEO and President of Cho Corporation”

 

“I know because fish talk a lot about you”

 

Hyuk Jae pats Kyuhyun’s shoulder

 

“You’re really his best friend because both of you are childish”

Hyuk Jae sits beside Donghae

 

“Let’s have our lunch now. I’m really happy to meet all of you. I’m really lucky to have fish in my life and I hope that I can be part of this family in the future”

Tiffany and Sungmin shout in unison while smiling brightly. Donghae cough and stares at Sungmin

 

“Can you please excuse me and my sister for awhile? I’m just going to tell her something because Umma and Appa call me awhile ago asking about Minnie”

 

Donghae stand up and went out. Sungmin stares at Kyuhyun

 

“Go ahead”

 

Sungmin stand up and follows her brother outside

 

“Oppa”

 

Donghae holds Sungmin’s arm tight

 

“Ouch!”

 

He stares at Sungmin seriously

 

“What the hell are you doing Lee Sungmin?”

 

“What are you talking about Oppa? Let go of me. You’re hurting me”

 

Donghae let go of her arm

 

“Why did you give Appa all the information about the ten billion contract?”

 

Sungmin holds her brother’s hand and drags him at the corner

 

“I’m not the one who gives it to Appa”

“I’m telling you the truth. I make a fake contract details and that’s what I send to Appa. I keep the original copy in my email, but...”

 

Sungmin stares at Donghae nervously

 

“Appa hire someone who will spy inside Cho Corporation. I know who is he”

“Shindong”

 

Donghae’s eyes widened

 

“But...he’s one of Kyu’s Junior Executives”

 

“Yes. I heard him talking to Appa over the phone”

 

“So that’s the reason why Appa know everything that’s happening?”

 

Sungmin nods at him

 

“So what’s your plan?”

 

“I don’t know”

 

“What? Minnie, just tell it to Kyu. For baby Kyumin’s sake”

 

Sungmin holds her brother’s hands

 

“Oppa, I have my own plan. I just need you to help me”

 

“Ok”

 

“Kyu lose eight investors today. Those eight Board of Directors pull out their shares in the company because Shindong brainwashed them. They we’re going to invest in Appa’s company”

 

“Kyu is in great trouble”

 

“Please try to steal those investors. Please do something about it. Don’t let them invest in Appa’s company. Kyu will be going in Australia next week to attend a business expo with his father. Mr. Park will arrive in Seoul next week and that’s the time that Appa will go in Seoul in order to steal the deal”

 

Sungmin takes a deep breath

 

“I told Appa that I convince Kyu to lower the deal into three billion dollars. I’m going to have a meeting with Mr. Park next week and get the deal for Kyu before Appa can steal it away”

 

“Are you sure about it Minnie?”

 

Sungmin nods at him

 

“It’s time for me to use what I’ve learn when I was still studying and don’t worry because Kyu teaches me a lot of things about business and I’ve learn a lot by reading all his books in his office. Just steal those investors so we can bring them back at Cho Corporation once I get the deal”

 

“Arasso”

 

“Let’s go back because I need some witnesses for our contract signing”

 

“What contract signing?”

 

“POA. I need it so I can represent Kyu while he’s in Australia”

 

Sungmin and Donghae return inside

 

“Sorry about that”

 

Donghae sits on his chair. Sungmin get something inside her bag

 

“Baby”

 

Kyuhyun stares at her

 

“I want you to sign this”

 

“What is this?”

 

Sungmin smiles at him

 

“It’s a pre-nuptial agreement”

 

“What? Come on Minnie. Why do we need to have a pre-nuptial agreement?”

 

“Don’t worry about that. I just want to make sure that you’re not going to leave me”

 

Kyuhyun flicks her forehead

 

“Why will I do that?”

 

“Just sign it ok?”

 

She hands him a pen. Kyuhyun opens the folder and sign the documents without even reading it

 

“You didn’t even read it”

 

“Why should I read it when you already told me the content?”

 

Sungmin just smiles at him and return the folder inside her bag. She stares at Tiffany, Siwon, Donghae and Hyuk Jae

 

“You guys witness our pre-nuptial signing, right?”

 

They nod at her

 

“You can’t escape from me baby Kyu because they all witness it”

 

Kyuhyun kissed her lips

 

“Don’t worry Minnie. I’m not going to run away from you. You’ll be mine forever and I’ll be yours forever”

 

“That’s sweet”

 

Sungmin smiles brightly and start feeding him

 

“Baby, let’s have a date on Friday”

 

Kyuhyun nods happily while chewing his food. Sungmin holds his hand tight

 

“I promise that everything will be alright”

 

Sungmin told herself while staring at Kyuhyun happily
