Rise Of The New Moon
They spent that entire night, sacrificing their sleep to search for the definite answer. Yet, they still could not find any single clue and decided to take a rest before carry on with further searching the other side of the library. The sun has finally shows up by the east as the floating candles took turn to extinguish itself.
"Unnie, can you hold this for a while?" Yuri was standing on a chair, trying to get her hands on a thick black book that caught her eyes. Taeyeon came with her eyes half-opened as she was enjoying her short nap before Yuri interrupted her. She hold firm the chair and let out a yawn.
"You can just use your power of telekinesis." whined Taeyeon. Yuri finally grabbed the book and was about to hop off when she accidently fell on her . "I told you!"
Yuri slowly stand up on both of her feet with a help from Taeyeon, who was nagging at her. She brushed the dust off her outfit and bend down to pick up the heavy book on the floor. She noticed there were two books on the floor although she was very sure she was just holding only one earlier. The page on the open book caught her attention.
"Unnie." Taeyeon was about to throw another nag when she noticed the sudden change of Yuri's expression. She briskly bend down and saw something she was not even expected it will be. One of the books has a family tree most likely drawn by hands that required two pages, with the pictures of Yuri and Taeyeon as their last descendent. The most surprising thing was the pictures are somewhat alive, where they posed for three seconds before it repeat all over again.
"Guys."
That voice took both Taeyeon's and Yuri's heart away for a second. They tried to hide the book and turned around, spotted Seohyun and Yonghwa five feet away from them. They let out a deep breath as they glad Seohyun and Yonghwa did not have any clue regarding the mysterious book. Thank God.
"We have been looking for you." Seohyun take a few steps closer whilst Yonghwa only bowed and decided to just stand there. "Did you just spend your night here?"
"Well, actually yes." voice Yuri after a second of silence. Taeyeon shifted her eyes to Yuri, hoping that Yuri will not tell anyone about their abrupt discovery of their descendent. Yuri continued talking as if nothing happened. "We were doing some research about the upcoming battle. To kill the enemy, first we need to know them."
Yuri's lies went perfectly well. Seems like both Seohyun and Yonghwa bought it.
It has been three straight days both Taeyeon and Yuri secretly went to the library as midnight arrives. It took time to explore that huge library that expands to the building's attic and they are at the edge of their patience to find the answers to the questions that keep confusing them.
"I'm seriously tired." sigh Yuri. Taeyeon turned her back and walked towards Yuri, who was already sitting down on the floor with the book that has the hand-drawn family tree of their latest descendent. She slowly lean her head on Yuri's shoulder as she gently snuggle into Yuri's left arm.
Yuri studied the family tree that covered only four generations. The names written are in the language of Etruscan, which restrain others to read it any than Yuri and Wooyoung. At the top of the page has a woman with hair all curled up and beside her was a man, emitting aura of intense emotion. Their offsprings were a son, Lymus and two lovely daughters, Cyth and Damara that are married and all of them are blessed with children. But then, a picture of a woman with no name written has Yuri as her one and only descendent. On the other hand, Taeyeon is the only child of a Cyth's son who is married with a woman named Agalia.
"Wait." Yuri take a closer look of the family tree as Taeyeon waited patiently of the unfinished sentence. "Lymus married Phaed
