Nicole has managed to be completely silent for the past hour since they arrived. She quietly sits in the corner of EXO's practice room, playing on her iPod. She is beyond bored. Although EXO is her second favorite group, all she wants to do right now is find Donghae and just talk to him. She may sound like one of those creepy sasaeng fans who only want to have and "claim their territory" with idols. But she really just wants to get to know him. In the years she's known Kpop and Super Junior, she has been one of those semi normal fans...at least when she's actually around the idol(s).

She looks through her pictures and stumbles upon ones when she first met Chanyeol. She was smiling as wide as she could, seeing as though at the time, Chanyeol was her favorite in EXO. She had always found him to be like the guy version of her. Her friends would always joke saying they would be perfect for each other because they were both the Happy Viruses. When she met him, she was dating a guy named Andy. They were very happy together, for the short time they were. She had apparently made a small connection with Chanyeol, and asked to meet up with him again so they could get to know each other. As they got closer, Andy had started to drift away from Nicole. One day, he broke up with her through a text message, and then a couple of minutes later, finds out he's already in another relationship with a girl Nicole particularly did NOT like.

She was heartbroken because the first guy she thought she loved just dumped her. She quickly asked to meet up with Chanyeol to try to cheer her up. Although she did her best to hide the fact that she had been crying and was still upset, it miserably failed when he walked into her apartment and immediately knew she was upset.

~Flashback~

"Nicole? Are you okay?" Nicole just nodded blindly with a sad smile.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just bored out of my mind. Wanna watch a movie?" She tried her hardest to seem casual.

"Sure? Whatcha wanna watch?" Chanyeol asked attempting to hide his suspicions.

"I'm feeling comedyish tonight. Something to keep the happiness alive." Sadness clearly making its way to her eyes to form tears. She quickly blinked them away and put in the movie, then made her way to sit next to Chanyeol on the sofa loveseat. She covered herself and part of Chanyeol with a warm cat blanket. As it started playing, Chanyeol couldn't help but look at her and wonder what was wrong. As he could see the tears start forming again, he almost immediately puzzled it together, without any hints.

"Andy broke up with you, didn't he?" Nicole just looked up him with wide eyes. Her lip started trembling, confirming his statement.

"It's okay. He lost the best Happy Virus, next to me of course, a person could ever have. Did he say why?"

Nicole just wrapped her arms around his waist and pressed her head to his chest as she shook her head no as she started letting tears fall.

"He just said he didn't want to date me anymore." She started sniffling more, making her start to feel self-concious that she looked hideous in front of an idol she wasn't extremely close with on a friend level.

He wrapped his arms in a warming hug and pulled her closer. In order to cheer her up, he squeezed extra hard, making her fight to get of his grip in a playful way. He let her go, grabbed her hands, lifted her off the couch, and started swinging her arms back and forth with a slight smile forming.

"No being sad! He's a jerk who doesn't deserve your tears! You are the female Happy Virus and I have every intention to keep it that way! Now, where is that wonderful smile?" He swung her arms more and kept eye contact with her. She pulled one of her hands away to wipe her face, and forced a smile.

"COME ON!!!! I know you can do better than that!!!! I barely know you and I know that wasn't even a close attempt!!! NOW COME ON!!!" When she still didn't smile, she let go of her, pulled out his phone and looked up a new picture of Donghae that he had seen in the company.

"If this doesn't make you happier, I don't know what will."

He held his phone up to her, and watched as she looked at it, her face suddenly beaming. She got a ridiculously big grin on her face and started to squeal a little. Chanyeol just giggled to himself as he watched her become happier. Mission accomplished.

~End Flashback~

Nicole looked up to watch Chanyeol practice, only to see Donghae now in there, helping with the choreography, just as she was wiping away tears at the thought of her first close moment with Chanyeol.

hey...so...the story with "andy" actually happened. it was a bit different...too many parts for me to say without it getting too personal. i dated him three years ago, and on christmas, he and tons of other people started cussing me out on facebook. at the time, i thought about killing myself. it was a dark time. but my friends helped me get through it. now hes fat and gross and no one likes him and it makes me laugh cuz he got some pretty bad karma...so yeah...just know that this is a pretty personal chapter.
