Aiden' POV 

I arrive at the front of Harvard's administration office. It's really nerve breaking. I have an appointment with the dean of Harvard Medical School, so it's quite a honor. I leave everything behind, everything that had happened yesterday. The day, I don't know if I can forget it easily.  I carefully knock on the door and step in. 

"Ah...Mr. Liu, it's a honor for me to finally meet you. I'm Dr. Martins. " he walks around his desk and comes up to me for a polite handshake. 

"It's my honor too" I smile 

"Please have a sit" 

"How are you now, Mr. Liu?" He sits down opposite me and hands me cup of tea that still has steam. 

" I am okay. I'm sorry about the late respond" I apologize 

"No no don't worry. So why don't we get on with our business?" 

"Your student's loan is already payed by an alumni. They wish to be put unknown until you graduate. I have looked at your transcript, wow...Mr.Liu I have to say it really impressive, perfect score on most everything we require. So the alumni payed your loan want me to give you a test, if you do perfect on it, you can skip first 4 years and go straight into Medical School-starting this year. What do you think about our offer?" He looks at me 

"But in exchange for loan they take care for you, they would want you to double major-enroll in to our business school-" 

Who are they? I frown at the thought. 

"That is really great, but why did that alumni want to pay my loan?" I ask 

"Their reason is they owe you." Suddenly he been so caution

"But-"

"Mr. Liu, you'll know who they are when it comes" he cuts me off

"Yes" 

"So, I had call a cab for you outside, they will get you to the apartment. The rents are already been taking care of. Every month, we will sent you 30,000$." He stands up

I grasp at the amount if money they about to sent to me every month. I also stand up and shake his hand. He leads me to the door and say good bye. I have one week to review before taking the test. His offer is really something. I wonder who are paying for my loan. If I pass the test, then it'll get graduate as a doctor at age 22. Wow, that's magic. Doing 4 years of residency then I will be good to go. And I have to take business too. That will take up a lot of time in a day for me. Maybe that's an opportunity for me to forget all that had happened. 

I launch myself into the cab that have been waiting for me. Suddenly my phone ring. I awkwardly take it out from my pocket. 

"Yes, Tiffany?" 

"Oppa, what are you doing now?" Her sweet voice fade away all of my tiredness 

"I was just finished my appointment with the dean of Medical school" I say

"Hey Aiden" Rachel pops up

"You're on speaker. Don't worry, just me and her" she ensure 

"Where are they?" I hope she understand who I am preferring to. 

Silent...

"One is sleep in my room, the other is in your room and I don't care what she's doing." Her voice sounds bitter

"Tiffany...please do as you told. Don't give her hard time. It was her---" 

"AIDEN" the voice interrupts and startles me

"What do you think you are doing? Get out of here before I gift you another slap" Tiffany screams 

"Tiffany, why did you slap her?" I angrily ask even the driver turns and looks at me. 

"Oppa, she is the reason you left me. And she doesn't trust you. She hurts you" Tiffany tries to reasoning thing out

"That's Krystal and I problem. Apologize to her right now." 

"Oppa--"

"TIFFANY LIU HWANG, right now" I rise my voice even higher. 

I hear Tiffany's sobbing. I close my eyes and shake my head. 

"I'm sorry" her voice ego thought the phone and a slamming door sound pop. 

"I'll go talk to her" Rachel finally speaks up. 

"A...Aiden" her voice get closer now

"Yes, Krystal" the word stabs me straight to my heart. It's hurt as hell. 

"Now...I'm not your babe, honey, love, or f...fiancé, but Krystal?" Every words she said hurt me even more, but I can't and can't forgive her for what she did that night

"D...don't start it" I murmured to the phone 

"I miss you"

"What do you want to talk about?" I coldly ask

"A...Aiden, why did you leave me, us behind?" She starts to sob

"Don't you remember: I only leave when you don't have faith in me anymore." 

"I was wrong..." 

Silent covers us. 

"You forgot to bring the lock necklace" no...I didn't

I keep quite and look out to the street. 

"I'll give it to Rachel, so she can sent it to you, okay?" 

"P...please have its on you all the time as I will always were your...uh...engagement ring on" she continues 

 

 

Krystal' POV 

After we hang up, I walk out of the room. Tiffany is standing at the end of the hall, arm crossed, and facing the wall. I curiously walk near her. 

"Don't you dare say anything" Tiffany said 

"TIFFANY, do I have to call Aiden? And tell him about your rudeness." Rachel pops out behind me. She's startling me.

"N...no" she's sobbing. 

Rachel turns to me.

"Are you looking for me?" She raises her eyes-brown

"Y...yes" I stutter 

" come to my room" 

"Tiffany, the time will be increase if you run off to your room" she adds 

She and I walk quietly into her room. Sometime I turns and looks at her. She's crying and crying, sobbing and sobbing.

I close the door. 

"Rachel, why did you have Tiffany stand there?" I ask

"That's the way Aiden used to punish 

her whenever she's been rude to someone." She sits down on her bed and I'm standing at the door.

"But it wasn't--" 

"If I don't punish her, she'll keep hating you, and been rude to you" she interrupts me

"So anyway, how's the taking with him?" She continues 

"He said that it was really hurt him. And he needs some distance" my heart sinks 

"He said if during this separation...I'm seeing someone else...I should move on" I'm starting to  sob

"I asked if will he do the same?" I can't breath

"He said...he doesn't think so...what I did to him accidentally close his heart and feeling. He tired of get hurt." My tear pours out. I let it go, let it all out. I keep lie to myself that I haven't lost him. We just have to take the distance test. But somewhere inside my heart know that I lose him, the man can bring the happiness to my heart, the secure to my life, the warmness to my heart, the loving to me. 

Rachel pulls me into her mother's embrace again. And she my back to come me down.

"I'm sorry. I'll make sure he won't do any stupid. Don't worry. Maybe this is a right choice. Later when it's time for your heart and his miss each other. They will find their way to go back to one another. And you guys will appreciate, having faith, and loving each other more. I should have said this because I promised him. But I have no choice. This morning, when I asked if he wanted the ring back, to my surprise he said you're still somewhere in his heart, you're still his fiancé, you're the ONLY in his heart." 

 

 

 

"Aiden, no matter what you're still my man, I'll wait, I'll close my heart, no one can be in there except you ,ONLY you for my heart. " I murmur, while stay warm in Rachel's comfortable warm embrace.
