I ran downstairs not only to find pancakes, but a package... a package with birthday paper...

AUTHOR POV:

You immediately stopped in your tracks. Your mom came over to see what was taking you so long.

"Hey honey, you hungry?" she asks, trying to distract you.

"U-Um yeah" you say with an awkward laugh. Man, what the heck is with me.. Its just a present. You tryed to calm yourself, but you had a strange feeling about today. When you snapped back into reality, you realized that you poured WAY to much syrup and your pancakes were drownded in it..

"Darn" you say with a scrunched up face. "Oh well..." And you eat it all up. After breakfast, you washed up and got ready for the day. You completely forgot about the present.

"____, you got a second?" Your mom called from the living room.

"Yup, one sec!" You reply, shutting your laptop. You arrived downstairs and saw the birthday present. Again, you froze. You didnt know why, but you had a strange feeling about this gift. At the moment, you couldnt tell if it was a good or bad feeling..

"Here." your mom says with the biggest grin possible as she hands the small box to you. You recieve it, but hesitate to open it, as you still dont know what to make of the feeling inside you.

"Remember, big things come in small packages ___" She tells you.

"Right" you reply as you take off the lid to the box. It takes you a second before you realize what it is.

"Let it sink in.." Your mom says to herself. "3...2...." You took the contents out and dropped the box.

"AAAHHHH! OMG OMG OMG! IS THIS REAL?!" your screaming

"...1" your mom says with a smile. "Yes ___, its real" You feel tears comming down your cheeks, tears of happiness. You take a second glance at the object in your hand. I cant believe I actually got tickets. You think to yourself. Yes, you got tickets to Seoul, frickin South Korea. Not only that, but tickets to Super Show 4. Every ELFs dream.

"Mom, how did you get these?!"

"Well ____, it was hard work, but all worth it"

"Thankyou thankyou a million times thankyou!" You give her a huge hug.

"What are you waiting for?"

"huh?" you reply with a confused face.

"Start packing! We leave tomorrow!" she spins you around and pushes you towards the stairs to your room. She didnt have to tell you twice. You ran to your room and pulled out your suit case. The first thing you packed, was your concert outfit. Even though you never thought you'd go, you picked out a sapphire blue outfit and you couldnt wait to wear it! Then you packed everything you could think of. You didnt know how long you were staying, so you packed alot.

Your suitcase suprisingly fit all your stuff. You still couldnt believe this was happening. Me, a Canadian ELF, is actually going to Korea. And a Super Junior concert. Life Couldnt Get Better~ you sang Super Juniors Miracle, because this truely was a miracle.

Soon enough, it was time for bed. You had to wake up early to catch your 6:30 flight and you knew you wouldnt get any sleep on the plane. Not just because its noisy, but your going to SEOUL, FRICKIN SOUTH KOREA! You lay in bed for about half an hour until you realize that you cant fall asleep.

"This isnt going to happen" you sigh and look at your posters. "Im gona meet you all soon" You smile to yourself. Its been about an hour, and your still wide awake. "Its going to be a LOOONNGG night.." With a yawn, you put in your headphones and silently sing along to your music.
