Tutorial 22: Downloading and Un-Zipping Texture Packs from Deviantart

Hey y’all! This is my first tutorial since I took a few month hiatus, so I may be a bit rusty on explaining things lol. Nevertheless, I’m going to try! I had a request from someone to make a tutorial on how to download texture packs from Deviantart, so I decided to go on ahead and make this tutorial before I started making poster tutorials. Before proceeding with this tutorial, I highly recommend you download 7-Zip for opening up .zip and .rar files just in case your computer can’t open them up on its own. It’s a free program and quite easy to use. I’m going to show you how in this tutorial. The download link for 7-Zip is on the front page underneath ‘Recommended Materials.’ So, let’s get started!
1. Find a texture pack you want to download off of deviantart. For this tutorial, I’m downloading this texture pack.
2. Now look on the right hand side of the page, and look for a link that looks similar to this:
I highlighted the link in red, it should say ‘Download File.’ After clicking on that link, your internet browser window should look something like this:
Now click on the arrow that is beside the downloaded file name. Click on ‘Show in Folder,’ which I have highlighted in red, like this:
