Aiden’s POV

It’s so cold

Why?

I felt my body shiver slightly

Despite the pain in the back of my head, I forced my eyes to open

It was dark, what time is it?

I slowly pushed myself up onto my knees.

I couldn’t see much as I turn my head to glance around; rubbing the back of my head gently I didn’t feel a bump….but it still hurt….

Patting my pockets and cursed softly, my phone wasn’t in my pockets….was I still at the school?

Letting my eyes adjust slowly I didn’t see any lockers, looking around I knew I wasn’t at the school

“Where am I” I whispered, “Aish” I patted my hair down before standing slowly then ran over to a window and tried to open it once I had enough strength.

“Damn it…” I hissed and looked for a door

“Don’t bother looking” I heard Joon’s voice from above, “You’re not getting away this time”

“Joon, you better leave Kevin alone!”

“Oh, it’s not Kevin this time; it’s you”

“What?”

“I found out, about you and Dongho; didn’t think it would happen. You two played it off very well; acting like there was nothing. Kinda slipped up when Dongho warned you about us coming near you and your friend huh”

I swallowed hard

“Leave us alone”

“No”

“Damn it Joon, why do you hate us?”

“Because of who you are, Aiden. You stood up to me and humiliated me.”

“Just because I wouldn’t bow down to you”

I heard him laugh slightly, “Well, sit tight; you’re not going to get out easily”

A door opened and closed and I was left alone again; immediately I felt my skin crawl with fear

“I need to get out…but how…” for once, after four years and the accident; I felt afraid.

Kevin panted as he stopped in front of a shop; they had been looking for hours; and yet nothing. He felt that he had failed at being the older brother

“Aiden where could you be…” he sighed and looked up and saw Ken running his way

“I take it you didn’t fine her yet…” Ken sighed, being used to running now

“Ani…I’m scared…Joon has her and god knows what he’ll do to her. She was already taking a beating from him because he found out about Eli and I….now he knows about her and Dongho” Kevin said, helplessly “We need to find her….it’s almost eleven…”

“Don’t worry, we’ll find her. Did you tell your parents?”

“Ne, June is staying with Amber while Hyung-hwa is out searching…”

“Alright, come on” Ken said, pulling the younger along.

It was now one in the morning and Eli forced everyone to stop so that they could eat before searching again.

Kevin, Dongho, and Ken were all done before Eli; he rolls his eyes and finishes

“Okay, we’ve checked where”

“I’ve checked every school with my hyung; no Aiden…”

“I’ve checked all the shops and the mall, negative…”

“I’ve been trying to call everyone else but they won’t answer…also checked past places Joon used as a hideout ‘til this point.” Dongho finished

Eli breathed out and thought about the locations;

“I’ll call Soohyun and ask him to help search…”

“Okay, we’re going to keep looking, Ken and I have each other’s numbers and Dongho has mine, call us if you hear anything of spot Aiden” Eli nodded at the two boys before they leave and sighs

“Keep calling them until one of them answers; Joon will not get away with this”

“And since he’s rich his parents can make sure this event never happened…”

“I know…damn it…” he calls Soohyun and the elder agrees and says he will call if anything pops up.

“Come on” Dongho says and they both get up and go together and search.

After what seemed like forever Dongho’s phone vibrated in his pocket; he looks at the device and sees an unknown number

Could be Aiden

He thought, answering “Hello??”

“Dongho, thank god you answered…” he heard his hyung, G-Dragon, on the other side; sounding worried

“Hyung! Where is Aiden! Tell me right now!”

“I was getting to that; calm down for a second” the elder said before sighing, “Joon has him in the abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of Seoul on XXXX Street….Joon took all our phones so I couldn’t call earlier….sorry. You need to hurry; he didn’t say what he was going to do….but I have a feeling he’s gonna hurt the kid, badly…”

“Thank you hyung”

“Be careful” they hung up and the younger ran towards Eli whom was just up ahead

“Hyung! I know where Aiden is! We need Soohyun to drive us!” He yelled

“Call Vinnie then, don’t waste time!” Eli yelled and called for Soohyun.

“Ne Kevin?”

“Dongho got a call, Aiden is in a warehouse on the outskirts of Seoul; he said it is along XXXX Street”

“Got it, I’ll meet you guys there” Ken sighed closing his phone and looks around.

He asks a few people for directions and he was surprised at how close he was; he ran as hard as he could until a car stopped and Dongho’s head poked out

“Ken, get in”

“Thanks man” he pants as he gets into the back seat

“Eli is getting Kevin; we’re gonna be the first ones there….maybe” Dongho said, “I hope Aiden is alright….it’s almost 3 in the morning…”

“Aiden will be alright, he is a tough kid”

He felt his phone vibrate and sees it’s a text from Kevin

To: KenKen

From: Vin

Aiden may not be alright, she might feel intimidated, when you get there you will need to protect her; no matter what. Even if it means revealing her secret….good luck, we will be there soon.

He re-reads the message before deleting it and sighs calmly; hoping Aiden is alright.

Aiden landed on her back again and stays down for a while; she pants softly as she turns her head slightly and sees Joon; laying on his back as well.

They had been fighting for the pass what, half hour?

Aiden was hiding in one of the metal lockers after Joon left the first time, hoping to be forgotten later on; but luck wasn’t on her side

Joon eventually found her and threw her to the ground; and that’s what started the fight.

Slowly getting up, Aiden watched Joon carefully; she knew there were bruises already forming, but she didn’t care at the moment; she just needed to fight him off no matter how long it took and hopefully escape.

Seeing Joon unmoved she moved a bit closer; thinking he was knocked out she opened his blazer and searched for his phone.

Once she grabbed it she felt her cheek stinging and was knocked over; phone skewed away from reach;

“Nice try” Joon said, voice raspy as he grabbed the front of her dress shirt and lifted her

She felt a button pop from the shirt from the weight it was holding up, and started to panic

“Let go of me!” she yelled, struggling to get out of the elders grip “Let go!!”

“Scare-”

“I said let go god dam-” and the shirt ripped open; Aiden fell onto her back –after twisting out of the shirt– for the nth time and scooted back quickly, arm across her chest protectively.

“The hell?!” Joon yelled, seeing the compression shirt under the white tang top, “Y-You-”

Out of rage Aiden stood up and punched Joon in the face, shaking.

“You’re a female?!” Joon yelled after regaining composure and stood up; glaring “Did you do this to get into an all-boys school?! You !”

“Shut up, you don’t know anything!”

“Cannot believe a g-”

“AIDEN!” the two turned to seeing three figures standing on the platform Joon stood upon earlier; one figure ran down and took their jacket off an placed it over her shoulders;

“K-Ken??” she asked, soon brought into a hug

“Shh, everything is okay” he said patting her head, feeling her shake against him; he glared at Joon “Who the hell do you think you are?!”

“Oh so you protect the hoe?”

“Back off!” Ken yelled

“Ken stop”

“He cannot call you names that don’t even fit you nor the situation you were placed in”

“What the hell is wrong with you Joon; stay away from Aiden” Dongho said coming up to them

“So you’re protecting her as well??”

“Who?”

“Oh, so you don’t know?” Joon said, smirking

“Joon don’t you da-”

“Aiden…” Ken whispered, “It’s…time…I’m sorry…it cannot go on any longer…it’s become too dangerous…he needs to know…”

“What are you talking about? Aiden?”

“Aiden, is a liar” Joon said, looking at Aiden “Wow….I would have never guessed to be perfectly honest”

“What is going on?”

“Aiden; has a secret, don’t cha?” Joon asks but doesn’t get an answer, “And no answer; even better. Well from my understanding; Aiden lied about her gender”

“Her?” Dongho asks

“Aiden is a female; never noticed it? No one would”

“Aiden….tell me he’s lying; I mean come on. No girl would pull it off”

Eli watched as Aiden gave up on standing and slowly sunk to her knees with Ken’s help; soon closing his eyes and waited

“A-Aiden?”

“I…I’m sorry….June….she made a mistake….a-and it was too late….by the time she got around to it…..I also…didn’t want to be separated from Kevin….he’s all I have left….Do you know what it’s like to live in fear of losing the ones you love? I never wanted to leave my brothers side…and if that meant lying about my gender then so be it…I was going to tell you soon….b-but no-”

“How could you lie to me!? Hiding this from me, you’re boyfriend?!” Aiden flinched as his voice raised louder and louder.

“I’m sorry-”

“I trusted you! I-I can’t believe this-”

“Dongho calm down” Eli said

“How can I?! I’ve been played, lied to!”

“Dongho-”

“You knew, didn’t you!!”

“Kevin told me yesterday while searching; that gave us more of a reason to find her”

“And you!” Dongho turned to Ken, glaring

“I figured it out before you guys; and I’m fine with it”

“Unbelievable!” Dongho yelled, glaring at Aiden; who was ready to cry.

Shaking his head Dongho started to leave

“Go stop him, he is mad yes…but may do something stupid; stop him please” Eli says to Aiden

Ken helps her stand and she soon runs after the elder “Dongho!”

Eli grabbed Joon and showed him out, with Ken following.

Once outside Eli handed Soohyun Joon; to take care of business and walked over to his boyfriend whom was standing on the side of the road; staring into nothing

“I wish we told you sooner…” he whispers

“It’s not your fault; you were protecting her…there is nothing wrong in that…”

“Still; now she will be broken again…”

“How bad was she before?”

“She wouldn’t eat…would cry every night, clenching onto our family photo; attempted to cut herself but couldn’t do it…hardly spoke to anyone in our family; she would write on paper….she was a mess…I just don’t want her to turn out like that again….”

“Nothing bad will happen…”

“After this…she’s going to America…with Jasmine….unless Dongho accepts what happened she will stay….” Kevin said softly, “But I doubt it…”

“Don’t worry; come on, let’s go find them and head home” the younger nodded weakly before following.

                                                     ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Meanwhile~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

“Dongho, stop already!” Aiden yelled, still following said teen

“No, the further away from you the better!”

“You are such a drama queen you know that?!” Aiden yelled, shivering slightly due to the cold; Ken’s blazer wasn’t doing its job well enough, “I said I was sorry-You have no idea how sorry I am; I wanted to tell you but…I somehow knew it was going to be like this…” she said once she managed to get Dongho to stop in place.

Turning he saw how small her body frame was; how could he not notice the difference is beyond him…

Her upper body was small compared to the blazer she had on; she was skinny, not super skinny though he looked at her face and saw how feminine she looked now, knowing her true gender.

He stared for a while longer before shaking his head and crosses the street without glancing at the oncoming vehicle, “Dongho!” he heard Aiden scream and was shoved away and heard the sound of tires squealing to a halt and the sound of a body being hit and knocked over.

Panicked Dongho turned to see Aiden slowly getting up; standing for a moment before falling again; holding her shoulder and curls up in a ball

“Oh my god are you okay?” a woman asks, the driver Dongho saw and she turned to him “Are you okay?”

“N-Ne” a whine escapes Aiden’s lips as he gets closer and lifts her gently; out of guilt.

“Let’s get you checked out” he bowed to the lady and told her everything will be alright and left before she could say anything or attempt to help them.

He walked down the street until the Soohyun’s car stopped and he picked them up; Kevin held into Aiden as if his life depended on it as she lays her head on his shoulder, Ken on her other side and hold her hand, patting it to calm her down

“I’m taking the two of you home first….I’ll take them to the E.R after…”

Dongho doesn’t say anything as Eli says think you to his older brother

“Aiden….after this; I don’t want to see you again…I won’t trust you ever again…” Dongho said, “We cannot be together; so this is our goodbye…”

“Dongho-”

“No Eli; you don’t understand what it feels like to be lied to…played with….”

“Then go” Aiden’s voice cracked, but she didn’t care; her heart was slowly breaking after hearing those words “I guess risking my life…loving you full heartily…and saving you wasn’t the best idea I have ever had…but I’ll tell you know…I did love you; so much. And I was going to tell you…but now…I am broken….and I hope your happy…” she said, holding the venom she wanted to put into her voice; she couldn’t bring herself to do it.

Dongho just got out and slammed the door shut, Eli sighs and kisses Kevin head

“Night Vinnie, be safe; text me if you need anything, and I mean it…”

“Ne, sleep well”

“Bye Ken”

“Bye…”

“Be safe Aiden” she doesn’t look at him but nods in response; after Eli closed the door Soohyun drove off; taking the Lee and Woo’s to the E.R.
