The party continued until 3 rolled around and it was time to cut the cake, the twins stood by the newly-weds as they cut the cake and in the end they ended up with cake on their faces

Eli, being the gentleman he is; wipes Kevin’s face while chuckling

While Aiden around his lips and nodded “Tastes good” and wipes the rest of the cake with a towel

“What flavor?” Donghae asks

“White cake”

“Awesome~!” he cheered and waited in line for a slice.

“Aiden, Kevin come and meet your grandparents” June says pulling them to a table, the twins bow and smiled

“Omo you two are so handsome and cute~!” their grandmother cooed standing and pinching their cheeks

They groan in pain and were soon released “Honey look at them”

Aiden noticed the man glaring at him before smiling at Kevin and shaking his hand, “Look how much you two have grown” the man said and took Aiden’s hand

The teen winced when he felt his hand being practically crushed to nothing “Nice to see you grandpa” was all he manage to say,

“Aiden I’m going with June to get some food and sit with Eli, do you want to come with?”

“Sur-”

“I’m sorry Kevin, but could I borrow Aiden for a moment; I’d like to talk to him”

“Oh, okay. Then meet us at the table, don’t forget we are dancing with June!” he yelled, leaving a frightened Aiden behind

“Come, let’s talk outside” the elder man pulled him along and doesn’t let go of the younger until they are outside.

Aiden pulled his hand back and rubbed it and saw where the hand print was “Aish” he whispered then looked at the elder

“Your father was a great man…” he started “Did nothing wrong…was in the navy for a while, six years to be exact…

He received many medals…even the medal of honor…”

Aiden watched as the elder began to drift into the past

“He left when Deanna was born, he was sad that he couldn’t be there…but he was there when you and Kevin were…his eyes lit up when he saw you two

He felt blessed to have twins…he showed you three off, praised you….all he wanted was you three, to watch you grow, play with you, everything…

You four were his everything…..he was happy, and he planned on spending his free time with you all….at least until three years ago…”

Aiden began to back up as the elder turned to him and glared

“When you were sick…why couldn’t you just go to school and spread the virus like most kids? Huh??”

“I-I coul-l-ldn’t mo-o-ve” Aiden stuttered, and he was telling the truth, “I w-was t-too weak to go to school”

“I don’t see why you couldn’t have stayed at home and have your mother treat you….”

“They just wanted to see if I was going to be fine!” Aiden soon covered his mouth, regretting raising his voice

“You know…I thought I would get over it…but turns out I didn’t. I did the first time when your uncle died…but now my other son, his wife, and first child?! I’m afraid for my last child!”

“I wouldn’t hurt Ju-”

“But what if something happened to you; everyone will drop everything because everyone cares for little Aiden more than themselves” Aiden felt his heart drop at the man’s venomous voice

“You know…your parents and sister shouldn’t have died” the old man raised a hand, finger pointed at the teen “It should have been you…when you were first born I knew something bad would happen because of you. Your brother, nothing wrong; perfect young fella”

“G-Grandpa…” Aiden felt tears welling up in his eyes; blurring his vision

Up above the clouds began to darken, signaling that rain would soon fall

“Don’t give me that…their death is all your fault, I don’t care if anyone else says otherwise”

“I-It was-”

“Get out of my sight, I refuse to acknowledge you…” the elder turned away, tears fell from Aiden’s eyes

“Grandp-”

“Go away!” his voice boomed.

Aiden finally turned around and ran; ignoring all the stares from the guests as he ran into the lobby and towards the streets

He ran as far as his legs carried, when he stopped he looked around to see that he was on the rooftop of a building; catching his breath he sat against the wall; elbows on his knees and hands holding his head as more tears leaked from his eyes the rain began to soak him.

A while passes and soon the teen doesn’t feel the drops fall anymore, but could still hear it fall; looking up he meet a pair of brown orbs in front of him

“D-Dongh-h-ho?” he asks softly before being pulled up “What are you doing?” he didn’t get an answer but soon felt softness on his face

“You’re soaked….” Was all he said as he wiped Aiden’s face gently.

“Why are you here…”

“I saw you run out, Kevin and everyone are worried…”

“You’re avoiding the question”

“What question”

“What are you doing here’ is what I asked”

“…”

“Yah!”

“We should head back, everyone must be wondering where you are”

“You are changing the subject again!”

“Come on” Dongho said dragging the younger, ignoring the yells and threats.

Kevin checked his watch for the fifteenth time since Aiden ran out “Eli do you think he is okay?”

“Of course he is…I know he will turn up soon” the elder said hugging his boyfriend “I like what you did with your hair” he said, changing the subject

“Thank you…I like your brown hair better than the blonde”

“Good, because I was tired of the blonde hair…” the two chuckled softly, holding hands at their table while everyone else dances

“I might dye my hair blonde”

“Why? I like your hair the way it is!”

“I just want to try it”

“Noo~” the elder whined cuddling with the younger

“Okay, okay. Maybe when summer comes”

“Noo Vinnie”

“Oh stop Eli” Kevin said smiling

“Hey I see Dongho and Aiden” Donghae said as he walked over to the table to drop off his jacket and ran to the younger teen and hugged him tightly

“Where have you been?! Do you know how worried we were??”

“Sorry hyung…” Aiden said, catching a quick glance around and didn’t see his grandpa

“Aiden Ray Woo!!!”

“Aiden Ray Woo!!!” Uh oh… I know that voice anywhere….

I was tackled into a bone crushing hug, I laugh and hugged Vinnie back

“Don’t you ever run away like that again! DO you understand me??”

“Ne Vinnie~ Sorry”

We sat on the floor for a while until Eli lifted Kevin and hugged him “You may be twins, but Vinnie is mine so no skin ship”

“He’s my brother!”

“He’s my boyfriend!”

“Aish” I muttered standing “Vinnie can I borrow your vest”

“Blue or gre- never mind know the color…”

“Love you Vinnie~” I cooed and put the vest on, “Come on, let’s finish the day”

I danced, hung out, laughed, and enjoyed the rest of the day with Vinnie, Donghae, Aunt June, and Sungmin; I didn’t see grandpa, and eventually I told Aunt June and Kevin about the conversation when we got back home.

Vinnie gave me a hug and smoothed my hair

“Don’t worry about your grandfather…” June said “He’s just upset about it still…it’s not your fault Addy, he has lost it over the years…”

“Yeah, it wasn’t your fault; don’t take it to the heart…”

“I won’t…” I said and hugged Kev back

“Hey you two” Hyung-hwa called us and ruffled our hair, making us whine “Your aunt and I are going on our honeymoon tomorrow, so we are leaving you with my brothers; your uncles Luhan and Sehun”

“Cool” Kevin says, smiling “So we pack tonight?”

“Oh, no; they are staying at our house, since they just came back from China”

“Ohhh” we say in unison then stand up

“Well, I guess we’re off to bed now”

“Yeah…I’m tired” I said then sneezed

“Omo Aiden, you’re catching a cold” June said feeling my neck and forehead “Go take a warm bath and I’ll make you something to help” I nodded and did as she said

I had a bad feeling about this…
