Oh how I love Friday’s the time for school to end and we progress into the weekend.

Sighing I lay on the roof top of the school, it was after school and I told Vinnie that I was going to stay back and study. Ha. No.

I just want to relax by myself; I’ve had a long week.

Shall I recap?

Ahem, I have been avoiding Dongho after our little kiss….Joon is still on me for getting Kevin to break up with Eli; I refuse, and we end up fighting in the gym where no one is EVER there, sadly…

I hate him so much. But now I can relax, I’ll stay here for another fifteen minutes then head home, it’s only fiv-

CLICK!

I sit up and see that that door closed, I know I placed a brick there. I could have sworn that everyone had gone home! Who else is here?

I stand up, walk over, and try to open the door

“Crap…I’m stuck here…” I bang on the door “Hello!? Someone is up here!!!”

“I know” a voice says from the other side

“Well can you unlock the door?!” I was starting to get mad

“I think, not”

“Let me back in!” I hit the door with both hands, “It’s getting dark and I’d like to go home!”

“Oh well” I hear footsteps walking away, “Don’t worry, the Janitor comes back around five-ish on Monday morning, or maybe your brother will get you later….”

“Joon?! Joon you !!” I try opening the door again, twisting the knob harshly before kicking the door harshly “Phone…where is my phone” I mumble digging through my bag, and calling Vinnie as soon as I find it, “Come on, Kevin come on…pick up your cell!”

“Hello?”

“Kevin where are you?”

“Out with Eli why?”

“Get home now, Joon is looking for Eli”

“Why? Why would he want Eli now?” I took a deep breath, I can’t tell him now, not yet…

“I don’t know, but I just over heard him”

“Where are you? Are you safe?”

“Yes” I lied, “I’m going into town to pick something up”

“If you are not home soon I am going to look for you”

“Yeah, Yeah…” I say softly, “I-I’ll see you soon….”

“Okay, I’ll see you when you get home”

“Okay….” I hang up and look around “I need to think of something….and fast…” I whisper, feeling cold as the sun slowly sets.

Dongho’s POV

“Alright guys, I think we are good now” I say picking up a few balls at home base

“Thanks for staying with us, we really needed the practice” Kwang-min says

“Yeah no problem” I say packing up my gear

“So what’s wrong Dongho?” Young-min asks me, “You seem, a bit upset”

“It’s nothing really, just a lot on my mind”

“Aiden on your mind?”

“What? Are you out of your mind?!”

“No, I’m right on target” Young-min says, smirking

“Shut up…”

“Do you like Aiden?”

“Why are you even asking?”

“I want to know”

“Why do you like him?” I ask, glaring slightly

“Gotcha” he sings smiling widely

“Whatever”

“Better hope Joon doesn’t find out”

“He won’t”

“Hey is that him over there?” Kwang-min points out, “Wouldn’t he be at home or somethin’?”

“He’s smiling…?”

“Just ignore him, see you guy tomorrow” I say walking into the school building, and pull out my phone

Two rings before I hear a “Hey what’s up?”

“Hey, I was wondering if you were still at school, I think I left my Math book somewhere”

“No, not at all, you can get it tomorrow, it’s the first day of the week; you have time. Bye”

“Yeah doesn’t seem suspicious, not at all” I say sarcastically and roam the school.

“What would Joon be doing at school at seven at night…but who else would be here?”

No one came to mind, well; besides the janitor…

While walking on the third floor I finally came back to earth and heard the sound of banging metal

“The hell?” I whisper, walking up the stairs.

The banging stops for a while before it started up again and stopped again; hearing a yell of frustrating I opened the door finally and found a body sitting on the ground a few feet away.

Said body turned and I saw Aiden’s face; “Aiden?”

“Oh thank god someone else is here…” Aiden said, grabbing his bag and runs into the building, I stop him from going down the stairs and felt how cold he was

“Aiden your freezing!”

“No kidding, I’ve been locked up here for a few hours…” Aiden’s teeth chattered; cupping his face I slowly warmed his face.

“Did Joon do this to you?”

“Ani-”

“He did huh…” I hugged him and tried warming him up; soon Aid wrapped him arms around me

“You’re so warm…” he mumbled

“I just finished helping the Jo twins with some drills” I felt a pair of cold arms and hands wrap around my waist under my jacket “Yah your hands are cold!!!”

“Sorry…I’m just really cold…”

“It’s alright, let’s head home” I say and tried to move, but dragged Aiden a few inches with me, “Aiden?”

“I don’t wanna move…” I chuckle and pick him up “Wrap your legs around my waist and arms around my neck and I’ll carry you”

He does as he’s told and buries his slightly cold face into the crook of my neck

“Hold on now” I said before walking to the parking lot.

Soon I carefully place Aiden in the passenger seat and buckled him in before getting into the driver’s seat, and drive off.

Once I got to the Woo’s house I honk at the house and soon Eli and Kevin walking out, worried expressions upon their faces

“Is Aiden with you??”

“Ne, he’s asleep right now”

“Where was he?”

“Long story” I say cutting the engine

“Well you can tell it when we get inside, you guys are staying the night since its Saturday tomorrow”

“Awesome”

Kevin carries Aiden out of the car and places him in his room

“No one goes up there, he looks tired…”

“What happened?” Eli asked, looking at me

“I am limited on information…but I think Joon had something to do with this….He was trapped on the roof of the school when I found him, luckily….”

“Why would Aiden lie to me?” Kevin whispers

“I have a feeling that it involves us…but what…” the three of us looked at one another before Kevin suggests sitting in the kitchen and calming down.

Kevin’s POV

I kept thinking of reasons why Aiden is lying to me…but no thoughts...

I hear rustling up in Aiden’s room and excuse myself before going into Aiden’s room

Opening the door I saw that she had changed into soccer shorts and a black t-shirt, hair messy and a sleepy expression

“Vinnie~”

“Sit, we are going to talk”

“About?”

“About you lying”

“What?”

“Sit!”

She sat and looked at me with a confused expression, I sat next to her and held her hand “I know you’re lying to me, Dongho brought you back and told us that you were stuck on the roof of the school…Why didn’t you tell me”

Aiden looked at the ground,

“Aiden; why didn’t you tell me when you called me, wae” I asked, softly

“If I could…I would say…” she whispers, “Right now…I can’t say…”

“What the hell are you talking about?”

She raises her head and smiles sadly, looking closely I saw tears threatening to escape, also that she was wearing make-up

“Why are you wearing make-up?” I asked wiping at her face and she winces

“Stop Vinnie”

“What are you hiding?” she opens but closes it again, “Tell me”

“You have to promise you won’t over react”

“It’s that bad” she nods, “Alright…I promise, now please tell me; I’m worried even more”

“Sit tight” she says walking to her dresser and pull out a bottle and cotton balls, “Don’t look yet….” She whispered

“I won’t…” I watched as she wiped off her left cheek and wince slightly.

Walking back she hid her face and sat next to me and hugged me “I’m sorry….for worrying and lying to you…I did it to protect you….”

She looks up and I gasp, upon her cheek was a large bruise, barely healing, “Aiden where is that from?”

“Isn’t it obvious?”

“Joon did this!? If he knew you well enough he wouldn’t dare touch you!” I received a smack to the head

“You promised!”

“Sorry…But how is this protecting me??”

“Joon told me to break you and Eli up….he found out about you two” my eyes widen at her words, “Every time he brings it up I always end up fighting him….”

I touched her cheek softly, “Aiden…”

“Every day is a new threat to break you two up…today he said…” I felt a tear touch my thumb

“What did he say?”

“H-He said….h-he was going t-to b-beat y-you up if you didn-n-n’t leave Eli” she was now sobbing, I hug her and whisper in her ear

“You know...I understand…” I swallowed hard “But I promise you….I won’t let him touch me…trust e, Eli would break his hand before letting Joon touch me…” I rub her back “So you can put it to rest….You don’t need to fight anymore….you’ve done well…I love you…” I kiss her forehead.

I hear her sniffle, before her face buried even more into my shoulder, I smile and lift her; carrying her like I did before and head down the stairs

“Aiden” Dongho says seeing us come down, I felt her tighten her grip on me and I smirk

“Dongho, carry him for me, my arms hurt”

“Sure” he says and grabs Aiden from me, I watched as she tightens her grip on him

“Don’t drop me…” I hear her mumble

“I won’t” Dongho says going to the couch and hold her

“Eli, I need to talk to you for a moment…” I say softly, entering the kitchen; here goes nothing.

Third person POV

Dongho held onto Aiden as if his life depended on it; rubbing the younger’s back he finally says “Are you alright?”

“Ne…just a lot on my mind”

“Please look at me” he says, lifting the Youngers face gently whom was fighting against him

“No, no I’m fine…”

“Is that a bruise?”

 “M-Maybe…”

“How old?”

“Since Monday…” Aiden mumbled and felt Dongho’s warm hand cover the bruise

“Why do you take the hits…the pain…everything…?”

“Because I won’t show weakness”

“Aiden there is going to be a point where he will hurt you more than this”

“W-What?”

“Joon is a monster, right now; this is nothing, I’ve seen what happens with him…some images I wish to erase….but I want you safe, arasso?”

Aiden nodded slightly,

“On another note, are you avoiding me?”

“What? No…”

“Is it because of the kiss?”

A blush on the latter’s face said it all

“Is that all? Really?” Dongho teased

“Shut up…” the elder chuckles and kisses her forehead

“Yeah, yeah; whatever” he says hugging the smaller teen

Aiden sighed softly in the elders embrace, a small smile upon her face.
