It was Monday; and Aiden wanted to go home already; Joon bugged her earlier than usual, but this time pushed her into the lockers and walked off.

She was in piano class with Henry and a boy named Hoon; a transfer student. She and Hoon met with her defending him against a group of bullies and the boy has been grateful to her and has always been close to her, just as close as Henry.

“Hey Aiden you want to partner with us?” Henry asked, walking to a piano with Hoon

“Sure, I need the practice” Aiden said, sitting on the window silk

“I’ll go fir-”

“Sapphire high!” a voice called from outside, all the students in the classroom went to other widnows to see what was up; Aiden steps down from the silk and opens the window.

The three spotted a tall tan teenager with a mega-phone in hand and a group of boys’ behind him

“We are JF High academy!”

Boo’s were heard all over from other parts of the school

“Ah, yes we are very much hated now because what our baseball team did to yours. We are sorry about that; but I can tell you all don’t want that. SO we brought the one who need to say sorry, here to you. We ask that the baseball club of this academy to come out and receive a proper apology.”

“Aiden you’re not going down there are-” Henry turned and stopped seeing the door to the classroom close, “you…” he sighed and looked below again, seeing members of the team outside.

Aiden and the Jo twins were the last to come out and see the group in front.

“Sapphire’s hello; my name is Cha Hakyeon. And this is our team captain JungTaekwoon. Now he won’t be speaking; but I will” Hakyeon said with a smile before continuing “Now; at JF we don’t play like that. Playing dirty is our number one on the code book of our rule. SO I would like to ask for the one who were injured from the dirty plays to come out”

Young-min pulled Aiden up with him to the front

“Young-min let him go” Dongho said trying to stop them, but the younger ignores him

“We are the only two who were badly injured”

“Woah, you both are cute” a boy with a big nose, dark hair that stood up, and cute smile says

“Ken, hush”

“Ne hyung…”

“Anyways; you’re names?”

“Jo Young-min”

“Woo Aiden”

“Excellent, now” Hakyeon turned and motioned three boys forward; “Ahn Daniel, Yoo Chang-hyun, and Choi Jong-hyun; apologize to these two boys, immediately” the elder said in a strict voice

The three boys nodded and quickly stood in front of Aiden and Young-min, bowing “We are sorry…”

“Proper apology!” Ken yelled

“We are really sorry for injuring you and playing dirty, it was wrong of us!”

Aiden and Young-min shared a look before looking back at the boys

“It’s alright” Young-min said before moving away

Aiden stared at the boys’ bowed head before patting their shoulders; they look at her confused

“It’s fine…I accept your apology….just don’t do it again.” She said, glaring and the three boys’ nodded before going back to the group.

“Thank you for taking the time to come down and listen to us”

“Hey” a guy with a baseball cap said, jerking his chin towards Aiden then smirks “Good game; you’re tough kid. Also name is Ravi”

“Thanks…you’re not bad yourself Ravi-ssi”

The bell rung; signaling it was lunch time

“Well again for your time, we’ll be off; maybe we’ll play each other again! Bye-Bye!” Hakyeon waved before shooing his group away; all but one. Aiden had her back turned and didn’t notice that one person following until a voice called out

“Hey” Aiden stopped on the second step and turned back, “Can I talk to you for a second?” Ken asked shyly; Aiden looked at him before the entrance and yelled

“I’ll catch up!” and walked towards Ken, “What’s up?”

“I just wanted to ask you…” Ken looked around then straight in Aiden’s eyes “Can we be friends?!”

Aiden’s eyes widen slightly at the sudden outburst “uh, why?”

“Because you seem like a really nice and cool person and you seem different, but in a good way” Ken smiled; Aiden laughed slightly and nodded

“Alright, let us be friends; I’m Woo Jung-hwa, but call me Aiden”

“Lee Jaehwan! But I like Ken better”

“Okay, Ken hyung”

“Wha? I’m older?”

“How old are you?”

“I’m nineteen, first year of college already”

“I’m seventeen in a half, graduating soon”

“Wow! I thought you would at least be a bit older than me! How cool, so close in age” Aiden smiled at the latter, “Oh, before I forget” he hands her a piece of paper, “My number; text me any time you want and I’ll always pick up, since Leo and them hardly ever pick-up or text back”

“Sure, I’ll send you a text later, okay?”

“Ne, have a good day!” he yelled before running off

“Wow, a new friend…” Aiden said to herself; and walks back into the school and goes to the cafeteria.

After getting her food she sat down with everyone else; “So what was that all about” Kevin asked, looking at me

“The JF high academy baseball team wanted the three guys who played dirty to apologize to those they injured badly”

“Oh, that’s cool then…” Kevin said taking a bite out of his burger

“Yeah…Hey; are you and Eli going out today?” she asked softly

“Most likely; what about you and Dongho?”

“He’s stuck with Joon today since Eli is ‘busy with family’ today…”

“Ahhh, so staying indoors is our plan for the day; maybe I’ll make dinner for us”

“Ahem, what about me?”

“Oh you get leftovers”

“Yah!” she grabbing him in a headlock

“I’m kidding! Kidding!” he surrendered and the two laughed before continuing their meal; Aiden was a tad upset that AJ, Henry, Sungmin, or Zander didn’t join them during lunch. But she was fine with it; she wasn’t alone

“Hey, hey” Kevin said, bumping her shoulder

“Hmm?” she hummed, sipping her water

“I heard you sent Dongho home in a daze; what did you do??” Aiden then choked on her water and coughed harshly; Kevin rubbed her back while waiting

“W-What??” she choked out

“You.” He pointed to his twin “Sent. Dongho. Home. In. A. Daze. What. Di-”

“Okay, okay; I get it” she said, annoyed; “I may have….sorta…given him a good night kiss…”

“Aw how cute!”

“Shut up we don’t need the entire student body knowing” she hissed, hiding her blushing face

“Don’t worry; your secret is safe” Kevin whispered rubbing her back. When the bell rung the two left to their classes.

After school Aiden waves goodbye to Kevin as he left to Eli’s house, she walks straight home.

As soon as she reached home she was greeted with a crib and a baby sleeping inside, “Ae Sook…” she whispered and looked over the newborn in the crib and smiles widely; the newborn slowly wakes up and stares at the figure above her

“Hi Ae Sook, I’m Aiden; your older sister” she whispered; waiting for the crying to start.

To her surprise Ae Sook slowly smiled and stared at the figure above; “You are too cute Ae Sook” Aiden said reaching in and picks the newborn up and cradles her “I bet you that all the boys will want to date you when you’re older, ne?” she says sitting on the couch; she continued to talk to the newborn until June came in and asked for her child

“No~ Please a little longer”

“Aiden hun; she needs to eat” June said with a smile “Afterwards you can rock her to sleep okay?”

“Ne…” Aiden said, pouting and handing Ae Sook over; when June left the room she sighs and pulls out her phone

“Maybe I can text Ken…” she whispered and soon typed a message and sent it

Almost immediately she got a text back

From: Ken-Hyung

To: A-A-Aiden~

Hey! I’m glad you texted me! I was starting to get bored :(

She smiles slightly and texts back

To: Ken-Hyung

From: Aiden

Hey, glad to save you from boredom~ Sup?

From: Ken-Hyung

To: A-A-Aiden~

Nothing; just thinking whether or not to go to the mall…Hey do you want to join me??

To: Ken-Hyung

From: Aiden

Sure, let me put my baby sister to sleep and I’ll meet you there!

From: Ken-Hyung

To: A-A-Aiden~

Awesome! Ken-tastic!

Aiden couldn’t help but laugh a bit then closed her phone just as June come in “Sorry” June whispered “She fell asleep while I was burping her…”

“It’s okay umma; I just got invited to the mall”

“Oh you and your brother always on the go, be back soon”

“I will, bye Ae Sook, bye umma” she kissed June’s head before going and changing before leaving to the mall.
