"Aiden needs to stay home, Deanna; please stay here and watch your younger sibling”

“Alright, one day of no school can’t hurt”

“Thank you De hun, call us if Aid’s fever spikes up or something bad happens”

“I will”

Young thirteen year old Aiden lied in bed, feeling slightly; the pre-teen tried sitting up but was stopped

“Aiden, you need to lie down, I’ll give you some medicine okay?” nodding slightly, soon regretted it and got up and made a bee line for the bathroom and vomited.

Deanna rushes after and holds the pre-teens longer hair strands up, “After your done I am cutting your hair, this won’t do…”

“D-Deanna…?”Aiden gasps

“Don’t worry; I’ll make it look nice”

After calming down Aiden sat on the bathroom counter watching Deanna tap a pair of scissors to her chin

“Medium length hair looks beautiful on you, but short hair….let me try a short cut”

Nodding; Deanna immediately started her work, Aiden closed their eyes and listens to the sound of Deanna’s humming and the snip of the scissors.

When she was finished, Deanna squealed as her creation was finished “It’s perfect!”

“Really?” Aiden asks, turning towards the mirror.

“Yes, perfect” Deanna says again, ruffling the new hair style; Aiden smiles and turns to the elder

“Thank you, I like it. Very much”

“Aww, your welcome my litt-”

Aiden suddenly gasps and moves towards the toilet and starts coughing,

“Aiden! Stay here, I’m calling mom and dad!” once she felt Aiden felt faint, thinking of the worst scenarios.

Death.

The pre-teen wasn’t ready to leave the world, starting to panic short pants are heard clearly by Deanna “Okay, we’ll be ready by the time you get here….okay I’ll try”

Hanging up Deanna picks the smaller up and into her room and rushes out to get something small and light for the younger to eat.

By the time their parents came back Aiden already had eaten some food, but the fever never let up “Get in the car” Mrs. Woo instructed, following her orders, Deanna grabs a bucket and some bags on her way out.

The family of four tried to hurry to the hospitable, without being pulled over “Mom….dad…..” Aiden croaks out, before coughing violently

Worried, Mr. Woo looked into the rear view mirror “Aiden hang o-”

“DEAR!”

Everything seemed to move in slow motion, everyone jerked forward then to the side, and finally into a spiral movement; Aiden screamed before everything went black.

Waking up, Aiden saw white ‘Did I die?’

‘Is that why I don’t feel my head pounding anymore….’

Hearing a soft melody play, the pre-teen sighed silently

‘Is this heaven?’

Soon the melody turned into a different sound

Beep  

Beep

Beep

‘What is this beeping noise?’

“Seems that the four were in a terrible car accident, coming over here”

‘Car…accident….’

“I see…well it looks like the young…boy? Seems to be alright right now, the fever seemed to go down”

‘Who are these people?’

“Doctor, the boy is waking up”

‘Do they mean me?’

A shadow hovers over the smaller “Are you alright?”

“…W…what…..h-h-h-happened…”

“You were in a car accident, you are lucky to be alive young man”

“Car…accident…” once it fully registered Aiden bolted upright “Mom! Dad! Deanna!!”

“Calm down”

Seeing clearly now, Aiden saw the I.V and pulled the needles out of ‘his’ wrist and jumped out of the bed and saw three figures

“Mom!” no response

“Dad!” still nothing

“D-Deanna!!”at this point the teen began to let hot tears stream down ‘his’ face

“Calm down young man, here; let’s step out for a moment” obeying the doctor Aiden walked out, holding back a sob

“Let me check you for any injuries, your legs and arms indeed have bruising and cuts, but we need to check your abdomen”

“No”

“Young man I nee-”

“I won’t let you lay a hand on my being, I-I want my brother…K-Kevin”

“Then wait here” The doctor said and walked back into the room

Slowly sitting on the bench Aiden remembered everything clearly, “No….No, no, no!” holding his head he begins to sob, violently.

This is just a dream he thought, there is no way they were dead, no, no way!

“Everyday…is another memory~ In my heart.

Waking up Aiden gasped and looked over to find Kevin lying there, smiling

“Aiden are you okay?”

“N-Ne….”

Kevin reached over and wiped a few fresh tears away “Nightmare?”

Nodding Aiden hugged Kevin and buried his face in the elders chest, “Don’t worry…I’m here, you’re not alone”

“C-Can you sing for me again…” chuckling softly Kevin nods

“After that we have to get ready for school”

“Okay…”

“Everyday…is another memory~ In my heart.

The only song Aiden didn’t care on how it was created, it calmed him down whenever the nightmares would capture him

“Don’t ever add anything to the song….it’s perfect to me…”

“Anything for you…” Kevin kissed the top of his twins head; they lied there until it was time to get ready for school.

I have been thinking of a song for Kevin to sing to Aiden for whenever the nightmares came.

So to be honest, I typed the words myself; and I don't know if they are good or not...but oh well....first time ^.^"
