Yamada’s POV

Akira-chan said yes to Yaotome-kun so he is so happy right now.

 “So how’s Koharu-chan doing?” I asked Akira-chan.

“She’s been leaving every night and I don’t where she goes. She hardly talks to me anymore. But I’m happy she still does.” Akira-chan

said changing the mood to a more serious one.

“I hope she’s doing well.” I said.

Then we noticed that Yaotome-kun stopped what he’s doing then looked at the entrance.

“Hey, to whom are you looking to?” Asuna-chan asked.

“Does the girl who entered the café just now a bit familiar?” Yaotome-kun asked.

Then we all looked at the entrance.

“Yes. It seems like I’ve seen her before.” Asuna-chan said.

Akira-chan is still bowing her head down and thinking about Koharu-chan.

I looked at the girl they’re talking about. She’s a blonde girl with a bonnet. She has very heavy make-up and she’s holding a cigarette.

The girl seems to be looking for someone. When she faced our direction, she smiled and went to us.

“Hey guys.” She said.

And with her voice, we all knew who she was.

“Koharu-chan???!!!” We all said including Akira-chan.

“Hello~~, Am I late?” she said then throw her cigarette at the ash tray of the table beside us.

No one talked. It’s as if we’re absorbing what we’re seeing now.

Then Yaotome-kun broke the silence.

“Let’s sit Koharu-chan.” Yaotome-kun let Koharu-chan sit beside Akira-chan.

“Arigatou.” Koharu-chan said.

“Koharu-chan, since when did you color your hair?” Akira-chan asked.

“Since when did you start putting make-up?” Asuna-chan asked.

“And since when did you started smoking?!!” I shouted.

“Wait , wait, wait. I had all of these just yesterday.  And why do you sound so angry Yamada-kun!” She asked.

“Because you’re not supposed to be doing this.” I said.

Keito-kun should be stopping her. Keito-kun should be protecting her.

“I have my free will. I can do whatever I want.” She pulled another cigarette from her pocket but I grabbed it before she can light it.

“Yah!” She said.

“You’re not continuing this.” I told her.

“It’s none of your business!!” 

“Boku wa anata no tomodachi janai ka?!!” I shouted. (Am I not your friend?!!)

Then she fell silent.

“Gomen.” She said.

“I’m just doing this because..I don’t want you to pity me. I’m happy right now you know.” She said then smiled. Although it’s obvious that

it’s fake.

“You don’t have to pretend.” Akira-chan asked.

“I’m not pretending.” Koharu-chan said.

“You don’t have to lie.” Asuna-chan said.

“I’m not lying.” She said.

“You don’t have to tell us that you’re okay even though you’re not.” Yaotome-kun said.

“I am okay!” she said with tears in her eyes.

“We’re friends remember?” I told her.

Right now, I know that she just needs someone to lean on. What’s wrong is that she forgot that we’re just here around her. Her friends.

Then she bursted into tears.

“You missed him?” I asked her.

She looked at me but she didn’t answer.

With her eyes, I know the answer.

“Don’t mention him yet. It’s hard for her.” Asuna-chan whispered to me.

Just a few more weeks Koharu-chan.

I’ll convince Yabu-kun to take the operation. 

After that, maybe, you’ll live happily together.

Whaa I tried writing but it doesn't come out good. Gomenasai.
