KOHARU's POV

First day of work went easily. I thought this would be a little hard but it wasn’t. I had fun while greeting the customers. There’s even a little boy who said to his mom, “Mom, can you get her as our maid?”. I laughed. “I’m sorry little boy, but I already have my work here. But you can have this lollipop. It’s from onee-chan so I hope you like it !” I said then handed the lollipop to him. “Arigatou, Onee-chan.” He replied then went to the table with his mother.

“That’s all for today!! Good Job Everyone!!You can all leave now except for Koharu-chan” Yaotome-kun shouted.

“Hai~~!” Everyone replied except me.

“Eh~?! Why except me?” I asked.

“I’ll walk you home.” He replied.

“You don’t need to.” I said.

“I have my own reasons. So hurry up. I have something else to do.” He replied.

“Hmmm????”

“What?” he asked..

“Nandemonai.” I answered.

I thought of an experiment about Yaotome-kun.

*this is going to be fun* I thought.

We arrived at my dorm and saw Akira-chan waiting for me.

“Koharu-chan!!!!!!” she shouted. Then hugged me. Sounding and looking we didn’t see each other a few hours ago at school.

“Can’t…Breathe..” I said.

“Gomen.hehe” she said still not noticing Yaotome-kun.

“I’ll be going now.” Yaotome-kun said.

“Ahhh..Iie..don’t you have something to tell to Akira-chan?” I said to Yaotome-kun.

Elbowing him in the stomach.

*experiment begins!*

“What? I.. I don’t…” he said while blushing..

“Yes, Yaotome-kun?” Aki-chan asked.

His face grew even redder.

“Ahh.. uh.. I.. really don’t…” he said..

“Didn’t you tell me that you’re going to borrow his Algebra book?” I said butting in.

“Is that so Yaotome-kun? Ahmm.. can you wait here for a moment? I’ll just look for it. That’s if you don’t mind.” Aki-chan asked.

“Hai..I really don’t mind.” He replied.

Akira-chan and I went inside the dorm. I can see Akira-chan panicking while looking for her Algebra book.

*ooohh.., * I thought.

“Found it!!!” she shouted.

“Shhh…the others are already sleeping.” I said.

“Gomen!” she replied. She fixed herself and looked into the mirror again before going out again.

“Do I look fine?” she asked

“Yeah. Perfectly fine.” I replied.

“Thanks!” she said then rushed out of the room.

*Ahhhh… kids these days.* I thought realizing that I was just the same age of them.

I moved down my bag and peeked through the window.

Although I can’t hear what they’re saying, I can say that they’re having a good time.

I saw Aki-chan hand the book to Yaotome-kun while Yaotome-kun is looking at different directions.

Baka! Why don’t he make a move!

After talking, I saw Aki-chan bow to him and went inside.

Yaotome-kun waited until she safely enters the dorm.

Then I saw Yaotome-kun place Aki-chan’s book near his heart then closing his fist and then mouthing a yes.

Then I heard the door open so I jumped back to my bed.

As she enter the room, she’s jumping and punching her fists into the air and when she’s about to shout,

“Shhhh..” I said with my finger on my lips gesturing for silence.

Then I saw her open widely saying “KYAHHHHH!!” but no sound came out.

Then I just stared at her for how many seconds. She’s crazy.

Iie..She’s not crazy… She’s in love.

“You like him.” I said.

She fixed himself and said “Chigauyo.” While blushing.

“Really?” I asked sarcastically.

“Yes!! I mean NO! I mean YES… AHHHH Haru-chan!!! Why are you doing this to me?!!!!” she said.

“Because it’s obvious. Duh..” I replied.

“Hontou?” she asked.

“Yes. Eh~~~” I said teasingly..

“For how long already?” I asked.

“Since 5^th grade.”

“Nani!!!??? For that long?!!” I asked

“Hai.” She replied.

“Sounds interesting..” I said.

“But I’m still hoping that he likes me back.” She said fixing her bed.

“He does.” I said.

“What? You saying something?” she asked as if she didn’t hear me.

“Nothing..” I said yawning.

Then I turned myself to sleep mode.
