The next morning..

Yabu-kun still didn’t come to school.

But Yamada-kun does.

“Ohayou.” I sadi to Yamada-kun.

“Oha..oww..you..” he said touching the side of his lips.

“What happened?” I asked. I thought it would be rude to ask about Yabu-kun first so I asked what happened to him first.

“Ah.. I got into trouble.” He said.

“None of my business I guess?” I asked.

“Uhh.. Yeah.. none of your business.” He replied.

“So can I get to my business now?” I asked.

“Yeah.” He answered.

“What happened to Yabu-kun?” I asked.

“Since when did he become your business?” He asked.

“Since..” I said..

“Since…” I said again..

“Just kidding, Koharu-chan.” He said. Ruffling my hair.

He’s question still bothers me.

“He’s at home now. Having some, uh, personal matters. He told me to tell you that you can’t come to his home for a while.” He said.

“Even if I’m just going to check on him?” I asked.

“Yeah. Even that.” He replied.

“Is he okay?” I asked.

“Worried?” he asked

“Of course!” I shouted unexpectedly.

“Eh~~~?? He’s ahmm… a little bit perfectly fine.Uh, yeah, right. Perfectly fine.” He said.

“Little bit perfectly fine huh? So assuring.” I said with sarcasm.

“He’s fine!” He said.

“Really?!”

“That’s not my job.” He said

“Urgh!” I growled.

“Keep calm and think of him.” He teased.

I looked at him evilly.

“Kidding..” he said raising his hands in surrender.

I sticked out my tongue to him then went back to my seat.

3 days passed.

Yabu-kun still doesn’t come to school.

Tomorrow is Saturday.

Hope he’ll come here I the café tomorrow.

Saturday 2 am

I woke up at the ring of my phone.

It’s my Mom.

“Koharu-chan! Koharu-chan!”

“Mom.. do you know what time is it? It’s just..”

“You’re father woke up!!! He woke up!!! He’s safe! He’s okay now!!”

“REALLY?!!” I said trying to keep my voice low but couldn’t.

“Yes. Little girl. He’s awake now but he still couldn’t speak. Do you want to hear him?” Mom asked while sobbing.

“Yes mom.” I said tears forming in my eyes.

“Sweetie, your daughter is on the phone. Say something.” Mom said to Dad.

I waited for about 10 seconds then heard my father..

“Uhnn.. Ahmm..yuu..” He said.

Then I can’t help it. Tears fall down.

“I love you too dad. I love you too.” I said.

“Little girl, don’t cry.” I still can hear her sobbing.

“The one not crying talks.” I said.

“I’m just so happy. You’re brother found a new job! And he’s earning a lot from it. You’re father doesn’t need to undergo the operation anymore. That means you don’t need to work anymore my dear. You can just concentrate on your studies.” Mom said.

“Yes Mom.*yawn* I’m glad to hear that.” I said.

“You need to sleep now. I just want to tell you that so you won’t be worried anymore. Sleep now little girl. Don’t worry about your Dad anymore. We’ll take care of him. I love you.” Mom said.

“I love you too Mom. Tell big brother that he should take care of you and father. If he doesn’t, tell me. I’ll punch him. And tell him I love him too.” I said.

“Yes. I’ll tell him. Sleep now. Good night and Goodbye.” She said.

“Goodbye, Mom.” I said.

I turned off my phone with a smile on my lips.

I’ll tell Yabu-kun about his.

I’ll definitely tell him.

Then I drifted to Dreamland.
