The next day…

I walked in the classroom and saw Yaotome-kun arrived before me.

I was already dizzy on my way here.

I walked to Yaotome-kun’s direction.

The world’s turning and then,

“Oha~~~Whoaa!!Whoa!! Koharu-chan!!”

I fell into his arms and the last thing I saw was Yabu-kun running toward us.

Yaotome’s POV

I held Koharu-chan in my harms.

“You have a fever!” I shouted.

I bet she can’t hear me. Maybe it’s because of what happened yesterday. She was all soaked.

Yabu-kun arrived and run towards my direction.

“What happened to her?” He asked.

I ignored him.

“I’m gonna bring her to the clinic.”

I shot him a glance.

“Do you think you have the right to?” I asked.

I can see that he’s confused with my question.

“I do. I am her friend.” He replied confidently.

“Yamada-kun, please hold Koharu-chan for a while.” I said.

This anger in me, I tried to stop it from bursting for a long time. But I can’t stop it anymore. I’ll confront him. Right here and right now.

“Her friend? You call yourself her friend? What did you do when he asked you to have lunch with us? You ignored her. What did you do when she tries to approach you? Ignored her. All of our classmates was looking.

He didn’t say anything. He was stunned.

“Let’s go Yamada-kun. Let’s bring her to the clinic.” And then we left the room.

Yabu-kun’s POV

I saw Koharu-chan fell into Yaotome-kun’s hands.

I immediately run and went to her.

I asked Yaotome-kun if I could bring her to the clinic. But I didn’t expect that Yaotome-kun would be so angry.

“Do you think you have the right to?” he asked angrily.

Of course I do. I don’t know what’s going on here.

“I do. I am her friend.” I replied.

And then it started.

Koharu-chan’s POV

I woke up with Yaotome and Yamada-kun talking.

I tried to sit but my head hurts so much.

“Don’t push yourself, Koharu-chan.” Yaotome-kun said and walked towards me.

“Why aren’t you angry at me?” Yamada-kun asked.

“Because you didn’t make her feel miserable or even make her cry. For me that’s enough.” Yaotome-kun replied.

“What’s going on?” I asked.

“Nothing Koharu-chan.” Yaotome-kun said.

“Ahm… Yaotome-kun. I think we should tell her.” Yamada-kun asked.

“E~?”

“It concerns her so I think she has the right to know.” Yamada-kun added.

“You have a point.” Yaotome-kun said.

Yaotome-kun told me the story. And said he was sorry.

“Gomenasai Koharu-chan.” He said.

“Iie, Arigatou Yaotome-kun. Now he’ll realize things.” I said.

“By the way, Akira-chan dropped by a while ago.” He said while blushing.

“E~~??” I teased.

“Ima nanji?’ I asked.

“12:15, naze?” Yamada-kun asked.

“You’ve been watching for half a day! You guys should go back now.” I said.

I tried to sit up while they leave.

I had a hard time but I managed.

My head still hurts a little but a lot better than before.

“Lunch.” Yabu-kun said as he give me a tray of food from the canteen.

I stopped and put the tray on the table beside my bed.

“What do you think are we doing?” I asked.

“Koharu-chan. Why are you like this?” he asked.

“So I’m the wrong one here?” I asked.

“Why didn’t you tell me..you’ve been hurting a lot because of me.” He said..

“Why?Yes! I’ve been hurting a lot!”

Tears are forming in my eyes.

I remembered the feeling of being ignored by him.

“I don’t know why I’m like this!! I don’t know why it hurts to see you with someone else. It hurts when you prioritize them. It hurts when you don’t greet me. It hurts when you ignore me. It really hurts! And I don’t even know why!.I don’t why I’m jealous! To all those girls around you..” I paused.

Tears are continuously falling in my cheeks..

“I don’t know why I miss you..”

He hugged me and the rested my head on his chest.

“I don’t know if you call this selfish but.. I want… I want all of you..All of you.. to be mine.,.Only mine..”

I felt his hug tighten.

“Gomenasai.. Koharu-chan. Gomenasai.I promise. I’ll get things back to what it was.”

Yabu’s POV

I didn’t think I was making her feel this way.

It’s all my fault,

How could I leave them?

How could I forget them?

I’m such a B*tch.

Gomenasai Koharu-chan. Hontou ni Gomenasai.

“Gomenasai.. Koharu-chan. Gomenasai.I promise. I’ll get things back to what it was.”

Koharu-chan fell asleep in me. I rested her head in the pillow and let her rest.

I stayed with her until 5 pm. Yaotome-kun arrived and talked to me.

“Gomenasai Yaotome-kun.” I said.

“You realized all the things you’ve done now?” He asked.

“Hai. I do. So please. Let me make things right.” I said.

“Maybe for now, I’ll let you. But it doesn’t mean I’ve forgiven you. It’s not that easy. Prove it first.” He said.

“It’s all my fault. So please. I’m begging you. Let me correct these things.” I said.

This time, I’m going to show you that I’m back.

I’m back Koharu-chan. I’m back.

Yaotome-kun left and I was all alone with Koharu-chan again.

I waited at the side of her bed and I held his hand.

My forehead was touching our hands.

I really didn’t mean to cause you this, Koharu-chan.

You didn’t know how jealous I am when I saw you always with Yaotome-kun.

Koharu-chan woke up.

I didn’t remove my hands from hers.

“Yabu-kun..” she said softly.

“Koharu-chan, you still have a fever but we should go now. The school’s about to close.” I asked.

“Okay. I feel a lot better.Arigatou.” She said.

“Would you like to stay at my house?” I asked her.

I don’t know why I said that.

I think I just want to be with her and take care of her.

She looked at me.

“It’s not what you think..I.. I already called Akira-chan and told her to bring you some clothes. I told her she can stay too.” I said. She might get the wrong idea.

“Okay.” She said and smiled.

She’s still weak. I can see that she’s forcing a smile.

I’m not contented. I want to see that whole-hearted smile of hers again.
