Koharu’s POV

~Saturday Afternoon Summer Vacation!~

“Let’s go on a date.” He said

“Why?” I asked. “Isn’t it a little late? It’s almost 3 pm.”

Yes. I’m here at Yabu-kun’s house. Sitting at the sofa while watching TV. I don’t why I’m here. XDD. Maybe because I already miss him? Cheesy. Eww.JK!

“Should there be reasons when lovers go on a date? Isn’t because they love each other enough?” he asked then sat beside me.

“No. Just asking” I said then pinched his nose.

He suddenly hugged me. How I love being close to him. I rested my head on his shoulder.

“Where do you want to go?” he asked.

“Beach!” I answered happily.

I’ve always wanted to go to the beach. But I never had the time.

“Okay. Then we’ll go there” He said.

Kyaah! That’s one of the reasons why I love this guy beside me. He always makes me happy. In different ways.

“Yabu-kun,” I said

“Hai?”

I really wanted to talk to him about this but I’m scared because he might feel odd or whatever. Not just that. I’m afraid also of something. Afraid of what his answer will be.

“Can I ask you something?”

“Yes. Of course. What is it?” he asked.

Lub.dub.Lub.dub

“Am..Am I your first girlfriend?” I asked while looking at him.

He looked uneasy. Maybe I shouldn’t have asked this. I don’t want to…I don’t want to hear that I’m not his first. But base on his

reaction, obviously, I’m not. And it hurts.

“It’s okay if you don’t want to tell me. I’m not that curious after all.” I lied then faked a smile.

“Iie. You’re not my first. Gomenasai.” He said sadly.

“Daijobou desu. Daijobou desu.” I said.

H e moved closer to me and then whispered.

“You may not be my first girlfriend. But from the day I met you, you’ve always been the one I love.” He said. Then hugged me.

Kyah! Worth asking! It’s been months since we’ve been together and he never fails to make these butterflies in my stomach fly.

“Can we not talk about it please?” he said.

“Okay.” I replied.

“I trust you.” I said to him out of the blue.

“You should.” He said back. “And I trust and love you too.”

I don’t care about the past. What matters is the present and the future. I love him and I will continue to love him. He said that he loves

me and I believe in that. I will do anything for this relationship to get stronger and longer. I love you Yabu-kun. I love you.

~at the beach~

“Wow!! Kirei na!” I said. O.O

The beach is so beautiful. The sand. The waves. The water. Everything! This is going be perfect.

*Yabu’s  POV*

I can see that dazzling smile of hers as we arrive in the beach. It was like, just yesterday, I’ve been hoping to see that smile every day.

And now, I’m actually seeing it. And will still be in the future. Because I will never let this woman go. I will never let her go.

“Yabu-kun!” she shouted. I’m getting confused. Sometimes he calls me Ichi-kun. Sometimes Yabu-kun.

I was still in the car getting the food. She went first to set the blanket.

“Coming!” I shouted back.

I’m such a lucky guy.

We sat down as we watch the sun set. I’m holding his hand.

“Kirei desu ne?” she said as she stare at the sunset.

“Hai. Kirei na.” I said while staring at her. I can’t get my eyes off of her. She’s just so perfect.

She looked at me and then smiled again.           

God. I’m falling deeper. Deeper in love with her.

“Yabu-kun, can I ask another thing?” she asked.

What is it this time? I hope it’s not connected with the first one.

“What’s your ideal girl?”

I almost spit out the sandwich I’m eating.

“Why do you want t to know?” I asked while hiding my laugh.

“Yah! Quit laughing! I just want to be a perfect girlfriend to you!”

“Oh. Is that so? Let me think. Are you sure you really want to know?”

“Hai.”

My ideal girl huh?

“Ahm. Beautiful, smart, y and cute at the same time, kind, disciplined, humorous, caring, loving, knows how to cook and ….”I

paused the looked directly at her. She’s counting the words I said. Kawaii.

“The girl with the most beautiful smile.” I continued.

“What?! That’s too much! *sigh* Then I am the worst girlfriend you can ever have.” She said sadly.

 What?

“I’m not even one of the traits you mentioned. Maybe, disciplined yes. A little. Aish. I have a lot to work on to be a perfect girlfriend to

you.” She said.

“Baka.” I said.

“Nani?! I’m just saying that I want to be a perfect girl---“

“You’re already perfect.” I said.

She’s stunned. I can tell.

“I don’t need you to be anyone. I don’t need a perfect girlfriend. I don’t need you to work hard to be someone else because I love you

the way you are. For me, you’re perfect.”

Silence.

Then.

“Whaaaa!!! Yabu-kun!!! You don’t know how happy am I to hear those words from you!!” she said then hugged me.

“Yah! Stop crying!” Aish This girl.

As soon as she stopped, we started swimming.

“Aieru!!!Koharu-chan”I shouted so that other people will hear.  It felt so good not to hide what I feel.

“Aieru Yabu-kun!!!!” She shouted too.

I went farther and farther.

Until it was almost 7 feet deep.

I’m going to play with you Koharu-chan.HAHAHA! *evil grin*

“Help! …….Koharu-chan!...I’m……drowning….” I faked.

“Chotto Matte! Yabu-kun! Whaa! I’m coming! Hold my hand!”

“Gotcha!” I said. Then held her hand.

“Yah! You should not joke like—“

Then I pulled her in a deep passionate kiss.

Both of us were almost out of breath when she spoke.

“Yah! You tricked me! I was so worried about you!” She said.

“Gomenasai.” I said.

“And because of that, I’m going to punish you.” She said.

She pulled somewhere shallower.

She faced me and then grinned.

She pulled me underwater and then we kissed again.
