Akira’s POV

A lot of changes happened since Yabu-kun left.

Especially with Koharu-chan.

She doesn’t let anyone sit beside her in class.

She’s always alone.

She doesn’t talk with anyone unless we are the one who approaches her.

And when we talk to her, she replies as short as possible.

Yes. No. Maybe. Later.

Always like that.

But when his name is mentioned, she immediately joins the conversation but never talks.

She just listens.

This is not Koharu-chan.

Very different than the girl 3 months before.

Before Yabu-kun left without any word.

Well, I kinda understand what she feels.

I know it’s hard. Who wouldn’t hurt when your boyfriend breaks up with you without any reason? Just “I’m breaking up with you” and

hell, he transferred without letting anyone know.

If that happened between me and Yao—

Ahh.. erase erase erase!

Yaotome’s POV

Akira-chan is here in the coffee shop. I invited her over.

I have a surprise for her.

“Yaotome-kun, what are we doing here?” she asked.

“Ahm..” I can’t tell her the surprise.

“I’m going to treat you! Yes, that’s right, treat you.” I said

I texted Inou-kun.

To:Inou-kun

Aren’t you done yet?

From:Inou-kun

Just a few more minutes.

To:Inou-kun

Osoi yo!! Hayaku!! (You’re so slow!! Hurry up!!)

From: Inou-kun

This will be a success don’t worry.

“Doue?” she asked.

“Nandemonai.” I said.

“You’re waiting for someone else besides me?” she asked.

“Chigau yo, I’m just ahmm.. a little nervous.” I said.

 I wonder where Yamada-kun and Asuna-chan are.

Calm down. Calm down.

Yes! I don’t know if she can appreciate things like this but Koharu-chan once told me that Akira-chan really love music. Especially live

bands.

“Akira-chan, I’m just going to get something. You stay here. Never ever leave.” I told her.

“Hai.” She just said while sipping her juice.

So here it is.

I went backstage to meet Inou-kun, Daiki-kun and Chinen-kun.

“Ready?” Daii-kun asked.

“Hai. But nervous like hell.” I answered.

“Isn’t it a little bit wrong timing?” Inou-kun said. “With what’s happening to Koharu-chan and all?” he added.

“There’s no backing out now. It’s now or never.” I said then we proceeded to the stage.

I saw Yamada-kun and Asuna-chan sitting with Akira-chan.

 “Mic test, Mic test 1,2,3.” Me.

They all looked at me. Even the other customers. But I’m looking directly her.

“We are the staffs of this shop. I’m Yaotome, vocalist. Inou-kun on Lead guitar, Daiki-kun the bassist and Chinen-kun on drums.” I said.

Then Inou-kun grabbed the mic from me.

“This guy is doing all of these for that girl.” Then he pointed Akira-chan.

I blushed. All of the other customers looked at her and I can see that she’s blushing too.

I grabbed the mic back.

“So, uhmm, yeah. I’m doing all of these for  Akira-chan.” I looked at her.

“She’s been making me happy since I met her. Well, maybe since she was born?” I joked then laughed a little.

“Her very existence in this world makes me happy, a lot of people happy. This girl is worth every heartbeat. This girl is worth every

breath. This girl..” I said then paused.

“Is my life.”

Then we started playing.

She’s crying.

She didn’t like it?

I immediately went down the stage. All was shocked. But Inou-kun immediately replaced me and all their attention was drawn to him.

I ran to our table. I sat down beside her.

“Doue?” I held her hand.

“Why are you crying? Don’t you like it?” I asked again.

She tilted his head up and looked at me.

Then she hugged me.

I was shocked but I gave it back.

“Daisuki.” She said out of a sudden.

What?

Maybe I heard wrong. Inou-kun is so loud.

Did Akira-chan really say that word?

“Nani?” I asked. (What?)

“Daisuki.” She said once more.

I looked at Yamada-kun and Asuna-chan while Akira-chan is still hugging me.

They gave their playful smiles and I smiled back at them.

I let go of Akira-chan’s hug. I held her shoulders and wiped her tears.

“Look at me.” But she won’t. And she’s blushing.

Kawaii.

“Akira-chan, look at me.” She then looked directly into my eyes

“Mouichido.” I said. (Once more.)

“Daisuki.”

I felt a piece of heaven on earth when I heard that word.

I hugged her. Tightly. Then she hugged me back.

“Watashi mo.” I said. (Me too)

“Okay, okay, drama’s over. Give us something to eat Yaotome-kun!” Yamada-kun said.

“Matte! I haven’t asked her yet.” I told him letting go of the hug.

Moment wrecker.

“Hai, hai, go on. I’m hungry.” He said.

“Omae..” I said then looked evilly at him.

“Fine. I’ll shut up already.” He said then zipped his mouth.

I fixed myself then looked at her again.

“Sir, did you order for this?” Daiki-kun asked with a bouquet of roses on the tray he’s holding.

“Ahh yes. Arigatou.” I said to Daiki-kun.

I closed my eyes. *inhale* *exhale*

“Can I officially court you?” I asked her.

“Eh?” she asked.

“??” -me

“Is it still necessary even though I told you I love you already?” she asked.

“Necessary? We can just bOf course! This is the stage where relationships build up. This is also the stage where relationships are

given importance. So when I give you my surname, you’ll take care of it too.” =))))))

“Whoa! That one was good Yaotome-kun. But you still have to learn from the experts like me.” He said then he flipped his bangs.

“So, what’s your answer Akira-chan?” Asuna-chan asked her.

“Of course you can Yaotome-kun.” Akira-chan said.

So I was jumping and punching the air as she said those words.
