"Come on guys, we have a concert in Malaysia next week. Let's just finish rehearsals, then we have the rest of the night off," Jonghun tried to motivate his fellow members after getting back to the studio. Everyone had been practicing diligently for a while now, and now they were just tired and just wanted to rest – except for Seunghyun who was still in a good mood from the fan signing.

Hongki led as the five of them made their way back to the practice room, talking amongst each other along the way, but something through the window caught his eye. "Hey guys, shut up for a second," Hongki hushed them, eyes fixed on the other room. All of them followed his gaze, watching as a female TV host chatted away in front of the rolling camera.

"...first musical group venture from FNC Entertainment since CN Blue's hot debut back in 2010. These girls are promising not only a fresh to face to the hallyu wave, but a diverse background in musical training!"

FT Island cocked their heads simultaneously, wondering what she could be talking about. Then they noticed the four girls, all bright faced and enthusiastic. The girl in the center, presumably the leader, cued the others.

"Ne, annyeonghaseyo! We are U.C.–"

"LOVE!" they all chorused the last word in unison, incorporating a cute hand gesture that was sure to be their signature introduction.

"Under Cover Love, the love that comes without warning! Please anticipate us!" the leader cheered.

"Yes, just as their name suggests, this new group is exploding into the music scene unexpectedly, and certainly without warning! Look forward to their debut single!"

FT Island all stepped away from the window, taking in everything they just heard. Hongki scrunched his face in confusion, and was about to say something when he saw their manager walking down the hallway towards them.

"Hyuuuuung," Hongki called out gratuitously, then pointed towards the room the girls were in with a pout. "What's going on? And why weren't we told about it?"

Yoonho scratched his head, "Well, that's exactly what I came to talk to you guys about. Follow me."

FT Island looked at each other uncertainly, then followed Yoonho to a formal office that was usually used by the CEO for conferences. In the large chair at the end sat the president of FNC Entertainment himself, Mr. Han Sungho.

"Annyeonghaseyo daepyonim," FT Island all bowed to him, and his fatherly smile welcomed them.

"Sit down, sit down, there is much to be discussed," he said, and they took a seat, although they were still confused.

"Sorry, but does this have something to do with us?" Jonghun asked uncertainly.

"Yes and no," Yoonho replied, "I'm sure you've guessed already, but the recording you just saw being filmed is indeed for a new girl group under FNC Entertainment."

President Han nodded. "We will be announcing them to the public soon, though their debut is not scheduled until the beginning of next year. In the couple of months until then,
