“…let go of me.”

Surprised with her answer, Seunghyun still didn’t let go. But with a sudden push from Yoobin, he stepped back.

“Y-yoobin…”

“The last thing I ever want is pity.” she coldy said turning her back towards him. “You don’t understand, I’m going to walk home…”

As Yoobin quickly walked out of the parking garage, Seunghyun called after her but she didn’t stop.

“Yah..!” he yelled then got into his car, speeding out into the streets.

Looking left and right for Yoobin,  “Dang, she walks fast!” he said outloud as he made a left turn. Searching for Yoobin was difficult. About 15 minutes, he stopped at a nearby park.

Seunghyun rested his head back on the seat, remembering what he did was something he sort of regretted. He shouldn’t have hugged her so sudden. He understands that Yoobin hates surprises and hates talking about her past. But why? What is her purpose?

“Who is she…really?” Seunghyun said.  And Teddy-hyung? Ptsh..I don’t even want to imagine.

With a sigh, Seunghyun knew that he shouldn’t leave Yoobin walking home by herself, its about 30 blocks! He then started his engine but as he did, he noticed a small figure behind his car. Looking closely at his rear mirror, it was Yoobin!

Quickly getting out of the car, he turned to face her. “Yoobin!”

Standing in front of her, he walked towards her slowly.

Yoobin wasn’t looking at him but she looked distracted.  Her hair was flowing in front of her face flying gently from the cold night breeze.

‘She look so sad’ Seunghyun thought

Yoobin’s hands were in her pockets, she tilted her head a little and whispered, “You didn’t leave.”

With a smile, “Of course. Let me take you home.” He said finally.

The car ride back was silent but wasn’t awkward. As Seunghyun put the car in park, they continued to sit there. Yoobin had yet to move but sighed.

“I..grew up alone” She confessed. “The only thing that I have here is this house and myself. They  are  the only ones that I live for. “

Seunghyun turned to her. He knew that they were the Big Bang members.

“ You aren’t the only one.” He said gently. “My parents..well, we didn’t see eye-to-eye on a lot of things even my sisters. I took off by myself but they were the only ones I came back too.”

Yoobin slowly nodded and gave him a small grin.

Seunghyun continued, “And look, I know this isn’t the time or anything but like I said before, I will be here for you.  I really —“

“We are not the same.”

She hesitated giving him a straight face but her eyes tell him something different, Yoobin turned to open the door. “My parents were killed right in front of eyes. You had something—someone. I…” she stopped and sighed, “Thank you...”

Yoobin said as she closed the door, leaving him in the car alone.  ‘I’ve said too much’

*Ding dong!

Jiyong looked up from his note pad in his room at the sound.

“Who could be here at this hour? It’s 2am!” Jiyong said outloud. ‘Well..I should be sleeping as well.’

Getting up from his desk, he walked down the hallway to the door. He was staying at the Big Bang building where there was an apartment complex—a place where he stayed incase he wanted to write some late night songs.

Slowly looking into the eyehole of the door, he didn’t see anyone. Confused he carefully opened the door and suddenly a body pushed him aside. As he turned, he gasped.

“So…So-hee?!”

She turned around giving him a big grin. She was wearing black sweats and a big grey hoodie. “Hi!”

“What…what are you doing here?...how did you get in?” Jiyong exclaimed.

“Does it matter? I just wanted to see you, are you okay?” she asked, checking his face.

Shaking his head, he mentioned, “I’m fine…you know you shouldn’t be here, love.”

“Hmph! I came all this way, I’m not leaving. And you wouldn’t want me to go home by myself this late at night, would you?”

With a sigh, Jiyong gave up. What was alike about Taeyang and Sohee is that they are both very stubborn.

“No..”

Sohee laughed, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek, “Show me your room! I’m tried. “

Motioning into his room, Sohee ran on to his bed where a large white bear was laying. “Ah, this is still here?! Yay.”

Jiyong simply sat on the chair in front of her, “Love..really, what are you doing here?”

With the bear sitting on her lap as she crossed legged on the middle of the bed, “I..just wanted to get out. “

“You..didnt—“
 

“No! I didn’t run away. If I did, I bet Taeyang-oppa would have already called the police!. Seungri help me get here…and besides, I’m not speaking to Taeyang or Bom!” she said with a frowned.

“Love…” he started.

“No, I won’t hear another lecture from you either! I just…” Sohee sighed, “I want it to just be you and me—that’s all. “

Jiyong smiled then got up towards Sohee. He cupped both her cheeks and kissed her forehead, “Alright..just you and me tonight only. I’ll go get ready for bed.” He said as he left for the bathroom.

With Jiyong in the bathroom, Sohee quickly turned red. ‘Ahhhhh! What the heck am I doing here?! This is the first time I am ever with Jiyong here …ALONE..AT NIGHT!’ she thought to herself as she fell backwards on the bed.

‘But…this bed is so comfy…’ Sohee thought as she snuggled with the bear tighter, ‘I can just imagine that this bear can be Jiyong till he comes back…’

Jiyong quickly washed his face, looking at himself in the mirror. ‘What..should I do?! I wasn’t expecting Sohee to be here…much less tonight!’  he thought to himself as he walked around the bathroom.

‘Maybe..I’ll just keep it cool. We’ll just sleep next to each other..nothing werid!...but it feels so werid only because we never been together this late before….Come on, Jiyong! You can do this! You are GD, the greatest guy ever—this should be easy!’

He quickly opened the door and peaked his head out. Jiyong noticed that Sohee was laying on the bed where her back was facing him, holding onto the white teddy bear.

Smiling to himself, “She could never let that bear go…”

Walking towards the bed, he leaned in closer noticing that Sohee must have already fallen asleep. Being as careful as he can, he laid down beside her, facing her back. Sohee was breathing very slowly.

“ You must be tired. Everything that happened to day was just crazy..but at least the truth is out. Not sure where it will take us, but no matter what I will always love you..” Jiyong said gently as he reached over his arm around Sohee.

But minutes later, Sohee quickly turned around still holding the bear, smacking Jiyong with it as the bear is now between him and Sohee.

Jiyong quickly frowned. “Now…I guess our next obstacle is this bear!”

“Ah, really you can’t go?” Seungri exclamined.

“Yeah, I got stuff to do for the holidays.” Yoobin wrapped around Seungri’s head with her arms giving him a noogle.

Seungri struggled around her tight grip, “AH Yoobin-Noona!, My hair!”

“Yahh, you worried about your hair then me not going?!” teased Yoobin as she held a grip on his head.

Taeyang laughed, “Hey, its alright baby girl. He deserved that.. You sure you’ll be alright ?”

All of Big Bang were going out of Seoul for a couple of days for a special comeback for their promotion in other parts of South Korea. Winter was coming up so school was out till after Christmas.

 It just happens that their Teddy wanted them to greet more fans and gain more popularity this way. 

Yoobin nodded and let go of Seungri who fell on the floor, “Ow..”

“Aw. We wanted you to meet our sisters!” Daesung said.

“Sisters?” Seunghyun asked., “ You guys have sisters? Is that the reason why we are going to the airport unexpectedly?”

“Yeah, currently my little sister, Ji’s little sis and Seungri’s cousin were studying aboard in America. They will be following us during our stay when we get to the plane.” Daesung said excitedly and smiled showing his grim line of his eyes and showing his teeth. “Its been so long since I’ve seen my little Dongsaengs

“Ptsh. At least you’re excited. My sister is gonna nag me the whole trip.” Stressed Jiyong as he went to the coffee table for his soda.

Seungri, who finally stood up from the floor confessed, “WELL, not like you guys (who like to tease me)…my cousin loves to hit me. I’M gonna have the worst time of MY life..”

“Hey, both of you don’t say that…You probably should appreciate that they are coming along…you wouldn’t want them to be placed stranded by themselves right?” Yoobin said as she crossed her arms.

Taeyang agreed,“Its true..I got my two sisters to watch over, they may be a hassle but at least you won’t be lonely.”

Everyone nodded but Seunghyun noticed he heard a little ‘hmph’ from Yoobin but her back was turn. After that night, no one mentioned about Taeyang and Jiyong incident nor did Seunghyun talked to Yoobin about her parents. They were all too focused on the present but it was as of right now, they needed to move on.

“Is everyone ready?”

Everyone turned to see Teddy as he came in the room with a big duffle bag. Shin, his assistant was beside him.

“Yes we are.” Jiyong answered as he got up, rolling his suitcase with him.

As each of them started to pack up their things to the front, Yoobin also followed. There was a big white van waiting outside of the lobby.

While Shin was helping them put their luggage in the van, Jiyong turned to Yoobin, “Are you sure you be okay, Yoobin-Noona?”

“I’m fine.” She answered then whispered, “I’ll take care of Sohee for you.”

“Thanks.” he said as he gave her a hug.

Seungri also followed and hugged her as he pushed Jiyong off, “My turn!”

“Yah! I wasn’t done!” Jiyong yelled.

Seungri smirked as he turned to face Yoobin, “I’ll call you everyday, Noona!”

Then it was Daesung’s turn as he tried but successfully shoved off Seungri to give her a hug. “Hah!” he smiled widely at her, “Be careful, okay. Noona?”

“Will do, Dae.” Yoobin answered not until Jiyong and Seungri started to fuss with him for taking Yoobin’s attention.

Taeyang smiled, shaking his head, put an arm around Yoobin. “Take care of yourself, alright, Baby girl?”

“I said I’ll be fine.” She said, taking his arm off her.

“Its gonna be a long winter but it’ll be gone before you know it. We’ll be back soon.”

“And don’t get yourselves in trouble.” Yoobin nudged. “And..please be gentle.” She mentioned motioning about Jiyong.

“Baby girl..” Taeyang started.

“I mean it..try to let it go. Or if not, don’t make it a grudge. He means no harm—“

Taeyang put a hand up, “..Let’s not talk about this.” He sighed. “I’ll handle it my own way.”

With that answer, Yoobin made a face but let it go. It was his problem anyways.

Taeyang then gave a gentle kiss on her forehead, “Trust me.” He said before turning to go to the van, where Jiyong, Daesung and Seungri were still fussing with each other.

A cough sound was made as Yoobin turned. Standing there was Seungrhyun, who was awkwardly standing next to her.

“So….” Yoobin said.

“I…uh…yeah. Have a good time, I mean, you. Yeah, I mean..” he started. What the heck am I saying?

Yoobin gave him a grin, “Take care of yourself, Brooklyn Boy.” 

He smiled, “You too, L.A Girl.”

As Seunghyun left her towards the Van, Shin had already packed everything in.

“Aright, we are ready to go!”  Shin yelled happily. Looking at Yoobin, he smiled, “See you soon, Miss!”

Yoobin made a small wave and nodded.

All of the members turned around before they went in the Van and waved at Yoobin one last time before they leave.

“Sleep well and eat well.” A voice said behind her

Yoobin turned around. Teddy..

He smirked at her and took out something from his duffle bag. With everyone watching, it was a white gift bag with a red teddy bear with its head sticking out.

“It’s a little late but…Happy Birthday.”  Teddy said, giving her the gift in her hands.

Yoobin’s eye widen along with all the members near the van.

She merely scoffed which was Teddy’s expectation. Oh, he knew her that well.

“Really…” she said very much not amused.

Teddy smirked, “Oh. You don’t need to thank me. I still remember. That and I know your favorite color is still red.”

Yoobin quickly looked up at him then looked away. He is right.

“Well…farewells are too sad. I’ll just say, ‘See you later, Sweetheart. Because I know I will.” Teddy smiled as he placed his fingers to pull up Yoobin’s chin as she glared.

Meanwhile on the ride to the airport, everyone couldn’t help but noticed about Teddy’s actions. It was the first time for everyone to see him interact that way with Yoobin but Seunghyun since he was the first that interrupted their encounters.

‘I hope Yoobin is alright…’ Seunghyun thought.

He looked at Taeyang who was busy listening to his ipod but the look on his face was something different. It was as if he was also distracted by Teddy’s action as well.

Inside the airport, it was surprisingly bare since it was still mid-morning. It was lucky for Big Bang because they didn’t have to encounter many fans. As they were waiting by the gates, Teddy and Shin mentioned that they were going to get the tickets ready and for them to wait for their fellow ‘guests’

 “DAESUNG-OPPPA!!!”

The crowd turned around and saw a girl running towards them with brown bob cut hair. She was wearing tights, a big T-shirt and hightop shoes.

Daesung smiled wide and ran towards her with opened arms, “MINJI!”

She was scooped up and swinged her around in delight

Everyone watched in almost awe but ended as Jiyong’s head was whacked by a small purse.

“OW!” he turned around, rubbing his head with his hand.

In front of him stood a girl not too shorter than him wearing tight skinny jeans and a bomber jacket. Her hair was black with some blond highlights.

She folded her arms “Yah, What took you so long, Ji-Oppa?”

“HEY. You don’t talk to me like that. ChaeRin!” Jiyong said but received another whack on the head,

“OW! Quit it!”

She growled, “It’s CL! NOT CHAE RIN! Get it right! GD-OPPPA~”

Seunghyun just blinked staring at the four siblings. Jiyong and CL, Daesung and Minji..he almost smiled to himself that he was glad he wasn’t involved in this funny family.

Serungri looked around, “Have you seen San—OOOOF~”

He was pounded down by a girl with long hair tied into a pony tail, wearing a jeans and a big basketball jersey.

“Wow. Seungri, how many times did I tell you? You need to work out more! You’re still scrawny as usual! ”

Smothered to the floor, Seurngri breathed out, “No..it’s because you’re heavy! Sandara-NOONA!” He managed to get up and lift her off his back.

Yelling back at him, “Yah, I’m not that heavy!” She reached over as Seungri started to run around, “Oh no.! She gonna put me into a head lock! Help me Hyuunngg!”

“YAHH!”

Two and a half weeks have passed as they were doing concerts after concerts all over Korea and even 3 in Japan. But still in Japan, after their last concert till Christmas, they had at least 3 days off till their flight back to Korea. 

“hmm..that’s strange.” Seungri said as he laid down on the bed.

“What is?” Seunghyun asked turning his chair around from his desk. They both and Jiyong were sharing the same room in their hotel suite, Taeyang and Daesung were on the other side.

“Yoobin-noona hasn’t been answering my text for the last 4 days.” Seungri said looking at his phone in concern.

Jiyong looked up from his side of the bed, “Maybe you bother her so much that she completely ignored you!” chuckling.

“Yah! It’s not me! She always replies to me at least once! Like even an ‘okay’ or ‘bye’!” 

“Even if it’s one word?” Seunghyun asked.

“Yeah, I even asked Sunmi to check up on her and well---“ Seungri started but was interrupted as Taeyang and Daesung ran in the room.

“Hey, have you heard anything from Baby girl?”

They all looked at him blankly and he just knew the answer.

“We were trying to figure out that too.” Seunghyun said.

“It might be our connection, since we are far away.” Jiyong answered as he took out his phone to check. But sure enough, it wasn’t.

The air of worrying started to thicken in the room but Seungri spoke up, “But I was saying, I asked Sunmi  to check up on Noona and well..not to worry us further, she hasn’t been answering her phone calls or opening the door…” he said trailing off.

That thought worried Taeyang more, “We should—“

“Not get any ideas.”

They turned to look as Teddy was leading against the door way. He walked in with a sigh, “Now, Now..why am I sensing that there is a bit of worry about this, hrm?”

“Uh..Teddy-Hyung. It’s Yoobin.” Daesung said.

“I know. And like I said there is no need for certain actions. We will be going back to Korea in a few days and look, it’s Christmas eve. Let’s celebrate, we will be for sure she will be okay.”

“But Hyung….” Seungri squeaked in, “I’ve noticed…she’s always been alone on holidays.”

When Seungri said that, Teddy’s expression changed. Seungri continued on, “I know it’s a little weird, but ever since I knew her, she was always distant during this time..and I wonder why.”

“Since you knew she was like that, then you shouldn’t worry.” Teddy said ensuring everyone. “Come on, let’s go out to eat. It’s gonna be Christmas in a couple of hours, I got something for you guys as well.”

Everyone started to follow but Seunghyun wasn’t sure that they could just leave it like that. After eating and getting several matching big bang jackets from Teddy, they went to bed.

But Seunghyun couldn’t sleep. He looked at the blank ceiling and sighed. During their meal, he couldn’t help but wonder is Yoobin really okay? If Sunmi couldn’t get to her house, then is there something wrong?

Seunghyun got up and looked around, Jiyong and Seungri were fast asleep. He decided that he was going out.

Where?

Back to Korea.

 “So…What do you want to do, Boss?”

Putting down his glass of wine, he smirked, “Nothing as of right now. She is no threat to us.”

“But isn’t she getting in the way of your plans?”

He chuckled, “No…But I know there is something pulling up her sleeves. We’ll just have to give time a chance. If she goes ahead and blows it up, oh..I know there will be consequences, Shin.”

Shin nervously nodded, “Yes…Teddy.”
