Kris sighed; setting up a new computer was hell: you needed to add security, fix it up to the internet, arrange all of your settings, add certain programs – damn it the list goes on.

But finally he had done it, and it was all set up – he was able to go onto the internet without a problem now.

As he did, he quickly mucked about and set his new homepage, bookmarks and other stuff as well.

Sure, he could’ve probably got someone to do this all for him, but it was nice to be able to do something for himself and not have everyone scouring around you doing it all for you. It was good to have freedom.

Suddenly he remembered a site that one of his mates told him about. They said it was a way to stop your boredom – if you ever had that problem – and it would be very exciting. Kris had no idea what Kai was on about, but he decided, that now he actually had a working computer, he may as well check it out.

He typed the website name in – he remembered it vaguely so he had hoped it was correct – but he was completely astonished when the website came up.

Safe to say that he had never seen more s or in his life.

“Oh my god!” he screamed, covering his eyes from the masses of dirty pictures that were now popping up on his screen. His poor innocent eyes.

Just as he was about to click on the x button at the top right, he noticed a message pop up in the middle of the screen. It was someone wanting to chat with him. Kris didn’t know why he stopped to even look at it. It had a small picture of the guy that wanted to chat – his name was Tao – and Kris had to admit that he was pretty cute. The message simply said:

‘Chat on cam?’

Kris didn’t know why, but he felt he was being drawn in. He guessed it wouldn’t hurt, right? So very slowly, he moved the mouse pointer over to the accept button. As he pressed it, his screen suddenly went black. It terrified Kris. It was a very expensive computer! Then almost instantly, the chat box came up on the screen, and a small video, the man was waiting for Kris to click accept. Kris stared at the man on the video though, he was simply gorgeous – maybe this wouldn’t be such a bad idea. Again, slowly repeating his action earlier, he clicked accept.

He looked up at the top of the screen where his webcam was pointed, and the small blue light came on.

He was now on webcam with a complete stranger he found on a sight.

This was going to get interesting.

He saw himself on the video at the bottom, but he could see the others were considerably bigger. The guy on the video smirked at him.

‘You’re definitely cute.’

Kris couldn’t help but blush and looked away. He heard the sound of an angelic laugh. His head whisked back to look at the video. Could he hear the other? Suddenly, he turned up his volume.

‘Can you laugh again?’

He typed in carefully, and then he heard it again. It was a cute sound that erupted from the other’s mouth.

‘Yes, you can hear me. I’d say I can hear you but you haven’t made a peep yet.’

What was he to do? Say hi? That would just embarrass him much more than he already was.

‘I’m too shy to do that. Heck, it’s embarrassing that I’m even talking to you.’

He stared at Tao through the screen, the man was smiling, and it was pretty.

‘My name is Tao. What’s yours?’

The dirty-blonde took a deep breath before he spoke.

“My name’s Kris.” He saw Tao smirk.

‘Your voice is nice.’

Kris blushed once again. Damn it! Why was he such a girl?

‘And you’re definitely adorable when you blush.’

Kris wished the other would stop with the sappiness, but apparently the other liked it. He watched as Tao kept smiling at him. Kris didn’t realise that he was now pouting. Suddenly, he heard a voice come through his speaker.

“Keep pouting.”

The other stared with wide eyes at the video, then realised he was still pouting.

‘Uhm… Let’s change the subject.’

‘Okay, then why don’t you tell me where abouts you live?’

‘Korea.’

‘More specific maybe? I can see that you’re Chinese, why are you living there?’

‘South Korea.’

In all honesty, Kris didn’t really want to give the other any clue as to where he lived – he could be a ert… or something.

‘That’s nasty…’

Tao was now the one pouting at him, and Kris couldn’t help but giggle at that.

“So cute.” He murmured, but apparently the other one heard him. Heck, Kris didn’t even know where this so-called microphone was.

‘You think I’m cute?’

Kris blushed once again, but he nodded of course.

‘Thank you.’

He laughed. All he got was a thank you? Oh well.

‘So, where do you live?’

‘South Korea.’

‘Amazing.’

‘Yes, but unlike you, I am willing to be more specific if you like.’

‘…Sure.’

‘I live in Seoul.’

Kris froze. That’s where he was at the moment. Interesting. Apparently, Tao noticed the look.

‘Is that where you reside?’

‘Yes.’

May as well be honest with the guy. Because you know, Seoul was a pretty big place.

‘What a coincidence.’

‘Yeah I guess.’

‘So, can I ask another question?’

Naturally, Kris’s heart started to race in fear.

‘Okay.’

‘Why were you on that site?’

Kris got nervous again.

‘It was accidental actually. I was about to close it then you popped up.’

‘Oh? You stopped because of me?’

‘Yes I did. Be proud.’

‘If a handsome guy like you stops because of someone like me – trust me, I’m more than proud.’

This guy was too much. Such a sweet talker. Kris gave him a large smile, showing his gratitude.

‘You’re too sweet.’

‘I know, some people say it’s a disadvantage I have.’

‘Trust me. It just makes you much more attractive.’

Kris just realised what he wrote just after he sent it. He slapped a hand to his head. He watched as Tao read the message and he could see the other smirk again. Also, Tao was now biting his lip – which was freaking y.

’Attractive?’

‘Of course, I wouldn’t be chatting with you on a site if you weren’t.’

‘Hmm, I thought people on came on here to see s and …’

Kris could see the dirty smile on Tao’s face as their eyes locked over the screen.

‘Just so you know, I don’t want to see your .’

‘Haha~’

‘Like seriously. No.’

‘I’m not going to randomly pull down my pants and show (not if you don’t want me to anyway.) ;)’

He realised that Tao heard him laugh. Maybe it was nicer to know what the other sounded like. But, back to that last comment, he chuckled.

‘What makes you think you’d be good enough to show me?’

Time to set some fire – Kris was really having fun with this now.

’Hmm, maybe when we get to know each other better I’ll show you just how good I am.’

‘Looking forward to it.’

Before Kris could again realise that he said something completely wrong there, he looked at the time and realised that it was very late. And he had work in the morning too.

‘Damn it! I gotta go, nice meeting you/seeing you.’

He saw Tao pout on the other end.

‘Okay, but at least give me your email address so we can do this again…’

‘Fine fine.’

After Kris added his email address, he nervously waved to the camera, and shut it down after he heard Tao shout:

‘Goodnight Kris!’

Once the computer was shut, Kris climbed into bed.

That was an experience – but it wasn’t necessarily a bad one.

Nevertheless, he couldn’t wait till tomorrow when he could cam-chat with him again.
