The next morning

4minute’s dorm

‘OMA! What is this?’ exclaimed Hyuna when entered the living room.

‘Shh’ said Jihyun putting a finger on her lips.

Jiyoon was still on Jihyun’s lap sleeping.

‘What happened?’ asked Gayoon in a whisper.

Jiyoon moved lazy and woke up. Her eyes were red and swollen.

Sohyun, Gayoon and Hyuna run towards Jiyoon when they saw her like that.

‘What happened?’ asked Gayoon again, this time almost in a yell.

Jiyoon didn’t answer at first. She remembered the conversation she had last night and fought the urge to cry again.

Hyuna reached a hand to her friend’s cheek. The charisma girl tried to smile, and with a voice that cracked several times, she told the members what she spoke with her boyfriend.

‘That is ridiculous’ said Gayoon frowning.

‘At least he had the balls to tell you everything’ expressed Jihyun.

‘True but, writers can do that?’ asked Sohyun frowning too.

‘Of course they can, if they tell us what to say, why not tell us what to do?’ answered Hyuna.

Suddenly Jiyoon sneezed.

‘OMA! You’re sick’ said Jihyun but sneezed too.

‘You too…’ said the charisma girl. ‘May be I caught the cold my boyfriend had and I passed it to you last night’

‘No, it’s because you slept out here all night without any blanket’ said Sohyun still frowning.

‘Ok, that’s it. You two, beds, NOW!’ ordered Gayoon standing up.

‘What about rehearsal?’ asked the leader.

‘We’ll talk to manager-oppa. Now, go to bed, hurry!’ said Gayoon ordering again.

Jihyun and Jiyoon dragged their feet to their room and took places on their beds.

‘We’ll be back in a couple of hours’ said Hyuna caressing her friends.

‘Saranghae’ said the  maknae putting a kiss in both Jiyoon’s and Jihyun’s forehead.

‘Na-do saranghae’ both replied sleepy.

Gayoon put a couple of tissues in both beds and went out the room dragging the maknaes with her.

The two girls slept for almost an hour when they heard the door’s bell.

‘Who will be?’ asked Jihyun in a sleepy voice.

‘I don’t know, all the girls have their own keys’ replied Jiyoon sleepy too but at the same time, she stood up to see who could be.

The girl opened the door and got shocked when saw an apologetic Sungkyu standing with a bouquet on his hands.

‘Annyo babe~♥’greeted the boy.

‘Annyo…’ replied the girl still in shock.

Sungkyu handed the flower bouquet to his girlfriend and after she received it he placed a hand on Jiyoon’s forehead.

‘You have fever’ said the boyfriend entering the dorm.

‘Yeah, I kinda got a cold last night’ said the charisma girl avoiding his eyes.

‘How did you know that I would be here?’ wanted to know the girl.

‘I called Gayoon and she told me you were sick’

‘Why did you call Gayoon-nie?’ asked Jiyoon suspicious.

‘Because you’re not responding your phone, and after the twentieth call, it went off’

Jiyoon looked around and found her mobile lying on the floor with the battery off.

‘Jiyoon-nie, who was it?’ asked Jihyun walking outside the room.

The girl paralyzed and looked at Jiyoon with wide open eyes. Her friend was unreadable, her face didn’t reflect any feeling.

‘Ah, Jihyun-leader, annyunghaseyo, I didn’t know you were here too’ said Sungkyu a little surprised.

‘Yeah, I got a cold last night’ replied Jihyun coolly.

The boy didn’t say anything, he knew it was his fault.

‘Why are you here?’ asked Jiyoon serious.

Sungkyu seemed to be surprised by the cool tone his girlfriend used but regained his composure immediately.

‘Because I want to spend some time with you’ he simply answered.

Jihyun knew that was her cue to leave the couple so she turned and went back to the room.

Jiyoon appeared to be annoyed at the reply so she didn’t say anything, she simply dragged her feet to the kitchen. Sungkyu followed her.

‘You’re mad at me… I know that… but I want you to know that is not my fault…’ said the boy with an apologetic voice.

Jiyoon didn’t respond, she was busy putting the flowers on a vase.

‘I know, but still…it hurts’ finally said the girl. ‘Nothing Better is a very special song to me…’

‘I know babe, for me too…’ said the boy hugging his girlfriend from behind. ’It kills me to be the reason that you’re hurt…’

Jiyoon turned back and looked at Sungkyu’s eyes. Then she tiptoed and kissed the boy on the lips.

He put a surprised face but then smiled and removed a lock of hair off her face to put it behind her ear.

‘You’re going to pass me your cold’ said the leader of Infinite grinning.

‘You already have one’ replied the charisma girl sticking out her tongue. He laughed.

‘Tell me how it go…the filming…’ asked Jiyoon not really sure if she wanted to know.

‘You really want to know?’ asked Sungkyu back with doubt in his expression.

The girl nodded hesitantly, so, smiling Sungkyu took some medicine off the table and dragged her to the room. Once inside he make her got into her bed and reaching same quantity of medicine to each girl he sat on his girlfriend bed caressing her.

‘Jihyun-leader, if you don’t mind, I’m going to tell how the filming went last night because my girlfriend here wants to know’ said Sungkyu politely.

‘Ok…’ answered the leader of 4minute tying not to feel uncomfortable around the couple. And with this, he started to tell the events that took place on Children of the Night recording studio.

He didn’t give much detail when he talked about the scenes he and Soyu had to do, but gave a lot when he described the others actions.

An hour passed and he had entertained the 4minute girls with his story, but when he finished, he said the two girls had to sleep so he started to sing a soft song so they can sleep easily.

‘He’s a really good guy after all…’thought Jihyun watching how Sungkyu sang tenderly to Jiyoon so she sleeps.  

‘Saranghae…’ Jihyun heard the boy said in a whisper to her friend when Jiyoon was already slept.

He stood up and turned his attention to Jihyun but she quickly closed her eyes pretending to be sleep. He walked away of the room closing the door behind him.

‘He really loves her…I’m glad…’thought smiling the leader of 4minute when Sungkyu walked away of the room.

‘So you came’ said Gayoon when she entered the dorm and saw Sungkyu closing the room door.

He nodded.

‘Oppa, you better took good care of her’ Hyuna said almost threatening the guy.

‘I did, she and Jihyun-leader are asleep now’ Sungkyu said smiling.

‘Good’ said Sohyun frowning a little.

‘Ok, now that you’re here to take care of my girl, there’s no reason I should stay’ said the boy politely making his way to the exit.

‘Oppa…’ called Gayoon.

He turned his attention to the girl.

‘If you hurt her again, I promise it will be consequences’ Gayoon said with a serious tone.

Sungkyu nodded understanding. ‘I know, and I promise I’ll do my best to not let anything like this happens again’

‘Oppa, you’re a good guy and I support you, but don’t ruin it again’ Sohyun expressed.

‘I’ll don’t, I promise’ he finally said bowing good bye to the girls. They all bowed him back and he went out the dorm.
