—~~~~~’s POV—

That girl! The girl this morning that kissed Luhan Oppa before I came out of the doors. Is she his girlfriend? It would make sense, he plays volleyball and well she does. He’s cute and she’s cute. I bet she’s nice too I though and let out a huge sigh

“What’s wrong?” Victoria Omma asked while looking at me

“Nothing” I replied avoiding her eyes. I was never good at lying and when I told a lie, basically anyone can tell even a 3 year old

“You’re lying” she said pulling me to the side

“I’m not” I smiled at her and eventually she gave up. I mean how was I going to tell her that I think I am jealous because of Luhan and his girlfriend! That’s absurd! I always fall for the wrong person.

“FD HIGH AGAINST XXXXHIGH INTERSTATE PRELIMINARY COMPETITION WILL NOW BEGIN” the speakers called out and I got up from the bench and headed towards the courts when I bumped into someone

“I’m sorry” I said as I landed on the floor

“You okay?” I heard a familiar voice

“Oh! Daehyun-shi!” I said blushing as he helped me up. As I stood back on my two legs I felt a little pain in my left leg but I tried to brush it off

“You sure you’re okay?” he asked looking at me with concerned eyes

“Yeah” I smiled and headed out to the courts after I waved him a goodbye

“I spoke to him again!” I blushed and felt the corners of my mouth turn up into a big smile

“Let’s get em!” I screamed as I got on the court all fired up

—Daehyun’s POV—

It’s her again the girl that Sehun was dragging away from me before. Wait, is she wearing a jersey? Woah #1. This I have to see as I followed her out to the courts also.

“Oppa! Where were you?” JiEun asked as she came to my side

“Nowhere and stop being so close to me” I pushed her away. I only saw her as my younger sister and nothing more even though I know how she feels towards me.

“Oppa wish me luck” JiEun smiled at me

“Luck” I said in an indifferent tone. I can see that she frowned a bit so I gave her a quick hug

“Do well” and pushed her onto the courts even though I know that right now she was blushing like crazy. At the corners of my eyes I saw Sehun looking at me with those eyes again. What was I suppose to do, send her away sad?

“Oh it’s her” I looked up and saw on the opposite court that ~~~~~ was serving first

—~~~~~’s POV—

“Service” I called and served the ball, before I threw the ball I read Victoria Omma’s hand sign as to where to serve and I didn’t let her down.

“BEEP! POINT TO FDHIGH” the ref announces

“ACE!” we huddled together

“Nice one!” They high fived my, that’s when I felt the pain a bit more on my foot but I disregarded it and continued to play.

It’s now 6-11, we were losing by 5 because of the blocks they were making.

“~~~~~, if we win I’ll treat you to an all you can eat desert place!” Victoria Omma screamed out of nowhere

“REALLY!?” I yelled back jumping up and down causing everyone in the audience to laugh. I blushed a little and looked at Victoria whom just nodded her head

Alright I smiled as it was back to me to serve, this time I switched to my dominate hand

—Narrator’s POV—

“Hold on a minute, FD HIGH’s #1 player just switched to her other hand to serve, what does this mean?” you heard someone from the other team shout

“Service” you shouted and within 3 seconds the ball landed right on the other court leaving the other team just standing there.

“Ref call?” You asked the ref while standing back in the service line

“Po..point!” the ref called out

“Did you see that hyung?” Sehun said dropping his pen from keeping the status and saw a Luhan with his mouth hung open

“Wow. That’s one powerful serve” he said with his eyes still widen

“Just what in the world” Daehyun said on the opposite side with his mouth open

“She’s a lefty?” He asked in amusement and let out a chuckle

“Interesting” he smiled

The speed of the game picked up as I served, even though I lost a serve to the other team I didn’t let them get another point as I went up to hit nonstop.

“GAME! Both games won by FD HIGH 25-12 and 25-2.” The ref announced as everyone in the court rejoiced. That’s when you felt a sudden pain in you ankle which caused you to wince a bit

—~~~~~’s POV—

“I think I overdid it” I said under my breath

“You did” I heard a voice as I was suddenly being picked up

“Daehyun-shi!” I was shocked as he held me in his arms

“This was when we ran into each other before the game isn’t it?” he asked with concerned eyes

“Yeah…” I answered as he began to carry me out of the court after he told Victoria. She just nodded and told me to be careful and call her when I get home.

“Slowly” he said as he let me down on the infirmary bed

“You shouldn’t have gone all out” he said and hit my head lightly

“But there was cake on the line!” I pouted and placed my arms around my waist

“Ouch!” I winced in pain as he took of my left shoe and began to bandage my ankle

“Look” he said and stopped what he was doing as I looked down

“It’s not that bad” I joked as I can see swelling on my ankle

“You have to sit out for at least 2 weeks” he told me as he finished the bandaging

“How are you getting home?” he asked after he placed the bandages back in the cabinet

“Walking?” I laughed and got up

“Limping you mean?” he laughed and picked me up again

“It’s okay Daehyun-shi I can go home myself” I protested

“I’ll take you okay” he said and I stopped moving. This was the first time a boy treated me with this much care. I’m not use to it at all. Only Oppa carried me and that was when I was young. My heart is beating fast, oh gosh.

“You’re red, do you have a fever?” he asked me as he placed his head on mine

“Daehyun Oppa!” I blushed but looked up and saw it was that girl from before

“Who is she?!” she said pointing in my face and grabbing Daehyun away almost making me fall but Luhan Oppa was there to grab me in time

“JiEun! Watch it! She’s hurt!” Luhan screamed

“Luhan Oppa, you shouldn’t yell at your girlfriend like that” I whispered in his ears when his eyes widen and he started to laugh

“She’s my sister!” he laughed and pointed at JiEun

“What! She kissed you this morning though!” I blurted out

“That’s why you were acting weird this morning?” he asked and I blushed and nodded

“Let’s go home” he laughed and picked me up along with my bag

“You, I’ll deal with you at home later” Luhan said as he glared at JiEun who stood behind Daehyun the whole time

“Oh wait” I told Luhan Oppa as he stopped

“Thank Daehyun-shi!” I waved him goodbye before wrapping my arms around Luhan’s neck

“Does it hurt?” he asked me with a concerned look on his face

“No, not really” I smiled as he placed me next to him on the bus

“~~~~~~! You have to sit out for 2 weeks okay!” Victoria Omma said while brushing my hair behind my ears

“But I’m really okay!” I protested

“No.” she shook her head and ignored me. I know she meant the best but this coming 2 weeks will be so boring without volleyball in it!!

“Wait! Do I still get cake?” I asked with my puppy eyes as she laughed and patted my head

“Is that all you think about?”

“Yeah” I smiled and earned a hit on head

“OW! Sehun!” I said grabbing his arm

“Don’t make us worry like that” he said and shook his head

“Sorry” I replied and sat back in my seat. The ride was long, took at least 2 hours to get back to school because of traffic. I was so tired I began to fall asleep

—Luhan’s POV—

The bus ride was long as we hit traffic. I felt ~~~~ next to me dozing off which was really cute. How her head would keep shifting as the bus kept moving. She almost hit her head when I placed my hand to prevent it from happening.

I took her head and placed it on my shoulders and I felt her snuggle close to me.

“Are you cold?” I asked but she just mumbled in her sleepy voice

“A little” she said snuggling closer. I took my jacket off and placed it around her to prevent her from getting colder. I placed my hand underneath the jacket also and took the chance to hold her small hands to prevent her from moving anymore.

“I think I like you” I whispered in her ears knowing that she fell asleep already.

—Sehun’s POV—

~~~~~ sat next to Luhan hyung.

Why is it that I never get the girl! They always go for those near me. Just like her when I met her first but in the end she went to be with Daehyun anyway.

Do I not deserve someone to be happy with?

I loved her so much and yet she didn’t care about me and went into someone else’s arms.

I’m such a fail.

I’m just sitting here doing nothing when Luhan hyung is snuggling with ~~~~~ in his arms. I want someone to care for too. I want to be the special someone for someone too.

Am I asking too much?

I don’t want the attention from other girls. I just want the attention from you.

Why did you leave?

I let out a heavy sigh as I looked out the window, its dark already and the skies are clear, just like that day when I confessed to you but you just took it lightly as a joke and went with someone else. No I’m here all alone without you…

For those that are curious, I play volleyball myself and am a volleyball addict so which is why this time round i decided to do a sports romance like fanfic! But when I entered college, things got too hectic and I had to cut volleyball down:/ BOOHOO!!
