—~~~~~’s POV—
"I think he hates me" Luhan Oppa said as soon as I yelled at Heechul Oppa from doing any more damage to him.
"No he doesn't" I said and attended to the cuts Oppa gave him during their friendly fight.
"Yeah he totally doesn't" I can tell the sarcastic tone in his voice
"Ow! Not so hard!" he cried as I purposely dabbed the cotton ball harder to make him shut up
"Stop being a baby you’re just like Seh-" I paused before I even finished my sentence
"Don't think about him. We're here to have fun remember?" Luhan said pulling me in for a hug. It was these moments where I had to admit I missed Sehun's touch. Sehun was always patient with me, never rushing me and always know what to do, even if his heart only had JiEun.
"I am having fun!" I said pulling away to continue cleaning Luhan Oppa's cuts
"You sure?" he asked while lifting up my chin to face him
"Mhmm" I smiled and quickly drew away. I know Luhan Oppa meant the best for me from the bottom of his heart but I'm not ready to open up to anyone yet.
"You know you didn't seem like the girly type at all" he laughed and I looked up to see what he was talking about, he was talking about my room.
"What's that suppose to mean" I asked smacking his arm and pouted
"If you hate it do much you can sleep in the living room! I'm not going to care if Oppa kills you in his sleep" I said and stuck my tongue at him
"Who would have guessed that your favorite color is pink?" he said grabbing my pillow and hugging it
"Well sorry to disappoint you Luhan sunbae!" I said while putting the first aid away
"Your mad?" he asked coming up behind me and holding my hand
"No" I said avoiding eye contact
"Yes you are" he said and poked my cheeks. I slapped his hand away and have him a death glare
"Woah!! Relax there, I did say that I love everything about you, you know" he smiled and pulled something out of his pocket
"Here don't be mad at me okay?" he said while presenting me with a strawberry lollipop
"Lollipop!" and my favorite flavor too! He just knows how to make me feel all nice and jittery inside sometimes. Kind of like the kisses I shared with Sehun. Oh no, I'm thinking about him again and unintentionally I let out a sigh
"Stop doing that" Luhan Oppa said pinching my nose
"Hey!" I protested and ran after him for revenge and eventually we ended up in the living room
"Minwoo-ah" I called out to the 2 year old as he looked up at me with eyes widen.
"You see that hyung right there?" I asked and pointed to which Minwoo nodded
"He's being mean to me!" I pretended a fake cry and Minwoo stood in front of me and spread his arms opened, kind of like he's protecting me from the monster Luhan.
"Ahh you're so cute! I've decided that I only need you!" I said and have him a big and wet kiss on his cheeks as he smiled and hugged me back.
"See, Minwoo here knows how to protect girls!" I said while giving Luhan Oppa the you-can-do-anything-better-than-him face
"Yeah, but your mine" he smiled with his confidence self and approached me as I began to slowly back away until my back hit a wall
"I'll make you mine" he said while inching closer to me until we were literally a inch away from bodily contact.
"Luhan Oppa..." I said looking into his big brown eyes. Those eyes that comforted me when I needed someone the most, those eyes that always watched over me, those eyes that only looked at me.
"Let's go take a walk outside" he said an grabbed my hand before it got even more weird between us
"I use to attend high school here" I said pointing at a building not far from our house
"Why'd you leave?"
"People there weren't real. They pretty much used me to get other girls and when I thought I found someone who loved me, let's just say it turned out like it did right now..." I said kicking the rocks in the road not wanting to look back at the school that gave me such horrible memories. Just when I thought I should give love a try.
"Oh! Isn't that ~~~~~?"
I turned around and saw that it was my old friends. Well my old teammates, they never really did hang out with me to be called friends.
"Hey Soojung! Hey Boram!" I smiled and walked up to them. The two of them were the closest thing to a 'best friend' I had in this school. They really tried to befriend me but before we even got close I moved to get away from this delusional place.
"It really is you!" she said while hugging me
"How’s everything?" I said after we released each other
"Good and you?" I just smiled and nodded
"Who's that?"they asked pointing to Luhan Oppa
"Umm... Just a friend" I said while rubbing the back of my neck, what should I have introduced him as?
"Hi! I'm Luhan, ~~~~~'s sunbae from school.
"Hi I'm Boram and this is Soojung" she said holding a hand out while shaking Luhan's hand. Soojung on the other hand just greeted him shyly.
"What's wrong with Sooj?" I asked whispering to Boram
"I think she likes him"
"Luhan Oppa?" I almost screamed earning a confused look from him
"She had a thing for cute guys" Boram said and whacked me on the head
"Hey, you want ice cream?" out of nowhere Luhan said and pulled me away from my friends to get us ice cream
"Here" he said handing me the strawberry flavor
"Thanks" I smiled as I took a from it
"And banana for me" he smiled.
"I want banana too!"
"Here take it then" he said handing me the ice cream
"But you'll have none" I said refusing to take the ice cream even though my eyes were watching it
"I'll have that one instead" he said taking my strawberry ice cream taking a from me
"Are you guys? You know together?" Boram asked out of nowhere behind us and I choked a bit and got some ice cream all over my face but Luhan wiped it off for me
"Not yet" he answered and just smiled
"WHAT?" Boram asked in surprise
"I'm trying to court her" he simply said while paying the man for the ice cream.
"Really?" Boram asked amused and all I can was nod
"Aww." escaped from Soojung's mouth
"You always get the cute ones" she complained as crossed her arm
"Sooj! You have a boyfriend yourself" Boram said hitting her on the head
"Really?" you eyes widen as you grabbed onto Soojung's hand
"Yeah" she blushed
"We were going to meet him now. And his friends" she said and asked if I wanted to come. Of course I did! I'm so curious how he looks like!
"You know him" Boram said pulling me out of my thought
"Remember Kibum sunbae?"
"The one Soojung has been crazy for since they met?" I asked amazed at how they got together, after all she was the quiet girl on the team while he was the obnoxious captain of the boys team
"Yeah" Soojung replied while blushing
"Want to come?" Soojung said tugging on my arm and giving me the puppy eyes she knows I couldn't resist
"Emm..." I looked at Luhan and he just shrugged his shoulders
"Okay" I smiled as they began to drag me with Luhan following behind.
"You guys still come here?" I laughed while pointing at the run down bakery we'd all go to after a game or practice.
"Yup. Nothing changed" Boram said opening the door
"Come on come in" Soojung said as they went inside
"You look like you don't want to go in" Luhan said making me turn around
"Well everyone has a past they don't want to remember" I said smiling and slowly walking to his side
"But you'll be here so it’s going to be okay" I took his hand and began to drag him inside
"LOOK IT'S ~~~~~!" Kibum shouted as soon as he saw me walking through the doors
"Kibum Oppa!" I said running in for a hug but being the clumsy girl I am I tripped over my own two feet. As always Luhan Oppa was there to save me
"What are you going to do without me?" he laughed as he release his hold on my waist as I landed in his arms
"Thanks Oppa" I said while slowly removing myself from him
"Hmmmm... Boyfriend?" Kibum asked while coming up to me
"Aniya." I denied then looked at Luhan who seemed a bit hurt even though he knew it was true.
"Just someone special" I said and grabbed his hand to introduce him
"Oppa this Kibum Oppa. He was Heechul Oppa’s worst student while learning to play volleyball" I said while shaking my head remembering how Kibum couldn't even bump the ball properly until his second year in middle school.
"Hi I'm Luhan"
"Nice to meet you. You must have a hard time putting up with this munchkin here" Kibum said pointing at me which earned him a smack on the head by Soojung
"Don't make fun of her! Now come on let's sit!" she said and dragged Kibum to a table filled with people as I trailed behind with Luhan Oppa.
"Guys! It's ~~~~~!" Kibum said running up to the table and everyone's head turned. Especially the guy sitting on the furthest left
"Your back?" everyone said while getting up and hugging me. Well all the girls that is, my Unni's from years of volleyball together until we reached high school where everyone went to a different school.
"Hey!" I greeted everyone as that one guy caught my attention
"How have things been in Seoul?" he asked coming up to me and giving me that warm smile I haven't seen in ages.
"Good" I simply answered
"Not going to introduce me?" Luhan said interrupting my thoughts
"OH RIGHT!" Boram screamed out of nowhere making us look at her
"Guys, this is Luhan." she said pointing at him as he just smiled and greeted everyone
"He’s taken by the way." Soojung added earning a glare from Kibum
"Though you said he wasn't your boyfriend" Kibum asked
"We aren't dating but I am courting her" Luhan announced gaining an 'o' face from everyone as I face palmed myself
"Oppa!" I said hitting his side as he pretended it hurts
"Hey ~~~~~, we're planning on having a get together game in 2 days want to come?" that guy asked. The one who's voice I missed even though I didn't want to
"I want to play too!" Luhan said feeding me a bite of his cake
"You play too?" he asked Luhan
"Yeah. I didn't get you name by the way" Luhan said while holding out his hand. The other boy took and simply announced his name
"Chunji. Lee Chunji. Nice to meet you Luhan." he said.
