I know by now I should be getting a call from my parents about that issue...
I released a huge sigh earning a question from Luhan
"What's wrong?" he asked brushing my hair in his hands as we watched the newest episode of Running Man together.
"My parents are going to call me soon" I sighed louder
"What's bad about that?" he asked as I places my head on the croke of his neck
"Nothing. Just nothing." I sighed again and wrapping my hands around his waist
"Don't worry about a thing" he said kissing my forehead. That was when I received a phonecall from the people I didn't want to hear from the most
"I have to take this" I said and released myself from his embrace and walked to my room
"Omma." I picked up the phone
"My little baby how are you feeling? I heard from your friend about what happened!" she asked. I know that she's actually worried about me. I know that they meant well.
"I'm fine." I replied not wanting anymore association, probably Chunji told them or something. After all my parents only met this friend I ever trusted enough to bring home.
"Baby girl, your father and I have been talking about that request we made years ago. I know it's sudden and all but since you can play volleyball anymore, why don't you just listen to our request?" she begged. I can hear it.
"Omma! Don't I have the right to decide my own future!" I screamed defiantly shocking Luhan since he came inside the room as the door slowly creaked open.
"Sweety, it's for the best. It's really great for the company and the boy is really nice. I've been meeting with him all along for the business meetings and he's sweet. Can't you just give him a chance?" she said. I know that no matter how much I protested it won't work. She always gets her way. I lost the bet when I lost the ability to play volleyball.
"Omma I already have someone I love. I can't" I began to cry
"Trust me you'll love him! I'll send the driver over tomorrow okay? You'll meet him at XXX hotel for dinner. Sweety it'd be great!" and she hung up without hearing my response. I began to spill the threatening tears that formed thinking about being separated from Luhan
"It's okay everything will work out somehow" he said my hair.
"No it won't. She alway gets what he wants and my only was out from their grasp is by going professional in volleyball. If I were in the lime light they would have a harder time meddling in my business." I sobbed wiping my tear stained cheeks
"I'm here remember? Nothing will go wrong" Luhan smiled and pulled me close in his arms.
"Do you even know what they want to do Oppa! You have no idea!" I sighed and rested my head on his chest.
"It's okay. Just go through with it, they are your parents after all. And plus what can be that bad? An engagement?" he laughed and petted my head
"You think it's funny?" I raised my voice pulling out of his embrace
"Yea. I mean what time of year is it for arranged marriages?" he laughed and sat on the bed
"Your not worried that my parents would just send me off to some spoiled beat as their wife?" I said now angry that he shows no sign of worry at all.
"I'll even suggest you to go see him." he laughed before continuing
"He must be a great an amazing guy I mean, you know to even be considered to be engaged to you" he smiled and laid down
"URGH! LU HAN YOUR NOT EVEN WORRYING IF I MARRY SOMEONE ELSE?!" how heartless can he be?! After all we've been through all he can say is to go to meet this fiancé I'll have?! He's insane! I pouted and began to walk out the door without listening to whatever he wanted to reply with.
"I WILL GO AND MEET HIM AND MARRY HIM TOO!" I yelled before storming out the doors.
"urgh!" I yelled as I walked away from this house we shared. Right now I can stand him. How can he even say that!
