“I’m sorry but because the wound on her leg was really bad we couldn’t completely fix it. She might not be able to play volleyball anymore” he sighed

“But appa!” Victoria yelled as she held onto the sleeve of the doctor

“I’m sorry sweety, appa tried his best but she’s safe. She lost a lot of blood, be happy that she’s still alive” he said and hugged Victoria

—Luhan’s POV—

“She’s alive then?” I gripped onto the doctor’s hand as he showed a small smile and nodded his head.

“Thank god” I whispered and fell on the floors on my knees

“Thank god” I sobbed as I smiled like an idiot to myself

“I thought I lost her.” And felt a pair of arms on my shoulders whom happened to be Sehun’s an Chunji’s

“Thanks Sehun for helping us out” I said and gripped his hand

“It’s my duty. I owe it to her after all” he smiled and helped me up

“We will transfer her into the private room as soon as possible” the doctor said and left as I felt a huge rock being lifted from my shoulders

“She’ll be fine right?” Sehun said looking to me

“As long as she’s alive it doesn’t matter anymore. If she can’t walk I’ll walk for her the rest of her life. I’ll carry her wherever she wants to go and attend to all her needs that she can’t do”

“Dude she can’t play volleyball, doesn’t mean she’s handicap!” Chunji snapped as a smile came across my face

“Have you gone nuts? You know that volleyball is her everything and you’re happy she can’t play anymore?” Chunji’s face scrunched up in confusion

“She’s alive, we can fix that later!” I said and hugged the two of them

“Thank you boys for protecting her so far but from now on, I’ll be the one doing the job” I said and felt the two smile as they both patted my back before following the police to file a report on assault, attempt murder and kidnap.

—Sehun’s POV—

“Sehun Oppa!!” I heard my name and turned around

“JiEun… what are you doing here?” I asked as she franticly ran up to me

“I heard you were in the hospital! Are you okay?” she asked checking everywhere on my body

“I’m not hurt. Who told you I was here?” I looked at her. This was the first time she came running to me worried about my safety.

“Luhan Oppa. He told me you were in the hospital with him. Are you okay? Are you feeling sick?” She asked moving closer to me and placed my arm across her shoulders

“Here, don’t use too much strength and depend on me, I’ll support you. Want to sit?” She ask practically using her whole body strength to attempt to carry me to the chairs

“Jiein, I’m not hurt silly” her eyes widen at my words

“You’re not?” She blushed and let out a sigh of relief. This time she really cared about me, well the fact that she came out with a slipper and a sandal and also her hair was a mess and she was sweating means that as soon as she heard I was in the hospital she came rushing out of wherever she was to be here.

“Thanks for being here” I smiled feeling a bit warm

“Don’t scare me like that oppa!” She pouted before turning her back at me. I know she wasn’t mad but I heard sobs from her.

“Why are you crying?” I asked making her face me

“Because I thought you’d leave me!” she cried harder

“I thought I lost you and that I won’t see you again! Don’t scare me like that!” she cried harder as I pulled her in my arms for a hug.

“I won’t. Don’t worry. I won’t anymore.” I smiled.

I know it was moments ago where I regret not doing the right thing to ~~~~~ and cheated on her. But if it wasn’t for her, JiEun would never cry for me like this. As much as I hate to admit it, I love JiEun. I did at one point love ~~~~~ but in my heart JiEun was never replaced and can’t be. ~~~~~ made me realize that if I were to die I’d want to be with the person I love and I know that it’s not me she’d choose but Luhan and for me, I’d choose JiEun like I did earlier. Yeah people are calling her names but it was also my fault for not being a good enough boyfriend before that she left me like she did.

“You know JiEun, ~~~~~’s the one we should really worry about” I said wiping her tears with my hands

“What’s wrong with her?” She asked trying to dry her red eyes

“She’s really hurt and may never be able to play volleyball again. All to protect Luhan hyung…”

“What took you so long to tell me! We have to go see if she’s okay!” she said dragging me from my seat

“Wait, one more thing” I said as she turned around

“I love you” I pulled her into a hug and kissed her temple.

“I do too Oppa. But this isn’t the time for us! ~~~~~-unni really suffered a lot, because of me, we need to help her as much as possible!” she said and dragged me into the room.

—JiEun’s POV—

I know it’s wrong for me to feel so happy hearing that Sehun loves me when I practically took him away from ~~~~~-unni but she gave us her blessings.

I remember one night her coming over to my house not for Oppa but to speak with me

“JiEun, can I talk with you?” she asked coming into my room

“Yeah….” I closed the door behind her and sat on the chair as she looked around my room a little and settled on my bed

“I just wanted to tell you to never let Sehun go again”

“Wait you’re forgiving me?” I asked shocked that she’s not throwing a tantrum at me

“I knew his heart wasn’t mine to begin with. You like Green tea ice cream right?” she asked as I nodded

“He always thought about you when he went on dates with me, I never had him to begin with.” She smiled

“I’m sorry. But shouldn’t you be at least mad at me? That’d make me feel better!” I looked to the ground playing with my fingers

“Nope. If I never had his heart and it was yours all along, why would I be mad. I mean I never had to in the beginning. And it’s because of this that I have Luhan right now so I should be thankful instead.” She smiled and approached me

“Be happy you two” she hugged me and left the room ending the first of many conversations we had later on…

—Luhan’s POV—

“Babe, you’ve slept enough, wake up now please” I pleaded by her bed watching her once plumy cheeks collapse

“Oppa, unni will be fine.” JiEun said as she grabbed a blanket and covered my back

“I’ll go home with JiEun first. Hyung you need to eat and watch out for yourself too so here are some things. Stay strong for her okay” Sehun said as he patted my back and left

“I only need you. Wake up, there’s so many things we have yet to do” I sighed and ruffled my hair as it’s been 2 weeks with her lying there unconscious.
