—~~~~~’s POV—

It was silent on the way back to Oppa’s house. Luhan Oppa didn't say a word about anything they happened today, I don't blame him either I mean I'm still having a hard time believing how Sehun was just like Chanhee, no scratch that Chunji.
"Why are we watching Minwoo again?" Luhan said breaking the silence between us
"Because Oppa wants to go on a date with Unni. I don't think they've been on one since Minwoo was born. Plus I owe him for a sudden visit like this."
"But your his sister, you have the right to visit" he said slowly slipping his hand around my hand
"But I brought you with me didn't I? We don't have a guest room after Minwoo was born" I said finding my keys to open the door
"Ohh."
"Mhmm" I finally managed to open the door
"THERE YOU ARE! DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I TRIED CALLING YOU! Don't worry me like that!" Heechul Oppa said hugging me
"Oh I didn't bring my phone with me" I realized looking through my bag
"Don't scare me like that!" He said hitting my forehead with the back of this hand
"You’re just overly worried. Plus I had Luhan Oppa with me the whole day"
"I don't approve of him yet!" Heechul Oppa shouted from in the living room. I just shook my head.
"Stop babying her. She doesn't need your sister complex in her love life" Sohee Unni said pulling Heechul Oppa by the ear to the door. Even though Unni had a small stature she dominates over Heechul Oppa any day.
"Anyway, ~~~~~ Minwoo is already in bed and if you need anything don't hesitate to call. This is your home after all." she said and kissed my forehead while closing the door behind her
"IF HE EVER LAYS A HAND ON YOU CALL ME AND OPPA WILL BE BACK TO BEAT THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF HIM!" I laughed since the door was closed and yet I could hear Heechul Oppa's little warning.
“I told you he hates me” Luhan said pouting and placing his arms on his sides

“Oppa, you know that’s not true” I said pinching his nose and walked upstairs

“What are you doing standing there?” I asked looking down from the stairs to find him still near the doors

“You didn’t say I should go to your room” he said looking down while rubbing the back of his next

“Well now I give you permission. Hurry up before I decide to throw you out for the night” I laughed as I heard him run up the stairs to catch up to me

“So pink!” he said covering his eyes as if it was blinding him

“Gez. Go sleep outside then!” I said shoving him out my door but he stopped himself by putting his hand on the frame

“I was just kidding!” he said flashing his charismatic smile. The one smile I cannot say no to.

“Oppa, you go shower first okay?” I said sitting on my bed while reaching for my phone that I left on my pillow

“Okay” he said and closed the door behind him

“Wow. 23 messages and 20 miss calls. Who are they from?” I thought and flipped my phone open

Out of the 23 messages 2 were from Victoria while the rest were from Sehun…all those calls also were from him.

To: ~~~~~ Daughter

From: Victoria Omma

“Happy Birthday Sweety! Congratulations on turning 18! Now that you’re one year older stop being such a child and wanting cake all the time! Sehun’s going to go broke treating you cake! Happy Birthday again my Daughter!”

I didn’t know how to feel, I’m happy that she told me happy birthday on my special day but I also didn’t tell her about Sehun yet, if she knew she’d be so mad him too. She’s an amazing friend and I don’t want to keep secrets from her.

To: ~~~~~ Daughter

From: Victoria Omma

“Why didn’t you reply to Omma yet?:(“

 To: Victoria Omma

From: Your Cake loving Daughter

“Thanks Omma! Sorry I didn’t reply earlier, I went back him to Jeju for the break and thanks for the wishes again. And by the way Sehun and I broke up… but I’m okayJDon’t worry about me okay?”

I said and sent it out. Next were all the messages I got from Sehun. Just what does he want now…

To: ~~~~~

From: Sehun

“Hey ~~~~~, can we talk? I’m outside of your house right now. I just want to talk about us”

Then it continues

“I’m sorry, can you please just come out?”

“I just want to hear your voice again”

“I know it’s messed up of me to do this, even on your birthday but hear me out”

“Please don’t ignore my messages”

“~~~~~, are we no longer even friends?”

I was tearing up again, oh no, this isn’t good. What type of guy is he, to cheat on my for my birthday and want to talk to me and become friends. Just how nice does he take me?! I have feelings too! I’m a girl! I’m fragile too!

“I guess you really don’t want to see me huh?

“Don’t ignore me please, at least say something just one word will do.”

“I know I’m a liar but I don’t want us to break up just like this.”

“I know no matter how many sorry I say it won’t matter because I lied.”

“Don’t hate JiEun, she’s actually a very delicate girl, it was me who gave into my feelings…”

“I know I have no right to say this but I can’t forget about you. I know I messed up big time”

SHE’S DELICATE WHAT AM I THEN! I couldn’t control it anymore as more tears came down my cheek and everything started to blur.

“Yes that’s right, you messed up big time” I said sobbing in between my words

“At least let me know how you’re doing”

“Are you okay?”

“Are you crying, because if you are don’t I don’t want to see you like this.”

“Please pick up my call.”

“I called you 20 times but you still didn’t pick up! Are you okay?”

“You’re scaring me! Please pick up!”

“~~~~~! Please pick up! I’m begging you”

“Don’t do anything irrational! I still need you!”

“Pick up please! I still love you”

“If you loved me then why did you cheat on me…” I couldn’t help it now but to wrap my arms around myself and cry. I brought my knees up to my chest and just cried. I didn’t know how many tears I spilled that night, it was countless…

“Hey ~~~~~! Your turn” Luhan said coming in but I didn’t answer. I couldn’t answer. My voice wouldn’t come out right

“What’s wrong?” he asked quickly running to my side and hugged me. Then he saw my phone and I felt him look through it and placed it down

“Ignore it, he’s not worth your tears” he said and patted my head

“I just can’t, why does it have to be today!” I cried harder and released my hands from my knees and I threw them around Luhan’s neck

—Luhan’s POV—

“Shhh… it’s not all bad” he said

“How isn’t it bad! I was cheated on during my birthday! It’s twice now!” she cried harder

“Chunji was stupid not knowing how wonderful of a girl you are and Sehun, he’s just a plain jerk. I don’t care if the girl is my sister but he doesn’t deserve an amazing girl like you” I said wiping her tears from her cheek

“Every tear you shed is like a knife going through my heart. So please, for me don’t cry anymore” I said kissing her eyes that were red and puffy again.

 *RING RING RING* That was her phone. She looked at it and started to shake a little until she turned to me

“It’s him…” she said not knowing what to do so I did it for her

“~~~~~! Are you okay?!” Sehun yelled from the other end of the phone

“What do you want?” I said in a stern voice

“Hyung?”

“What” I said annoyed at the fact that he still wants to talk to her

“Is ~~~~~ there? Is she okay? Is she hurting herself?”

“You have no right to ask if she’s okay. You YOURSELF should know how she feels right now” I said with anger and clenched my teeth together.

“Hyung… I just want to talk to her” Sehun pleaded

“No. She needs a break from you.” I said and hung up

“It’s okay. I’m here to protect you. I promise” I said and held her tiny shaking body in my arms

“I don’t like promises anymore. It always just ends up broken. After all history just replays itself…” she sobbed as she rested her heavy head on my chest.

“I’ll change history. I promise with my life that I’ll keep my promises with you” I said watching her heavy eyelids droop as she started to get sleepy

“Just sleep. I’ll be here when you wake up I promise” I said and wrapped a blanket around us. I placed her in front of me as I leaned on the wall and she leaned on my chest. I just wanted to hold her tight to let her know that I’ll be there for her no matter what. I want, no I need her so I’ll protect her. I won’t refrain myself anymore just because she went out with Sehun. I’ll make ~~~~~ my women.

“Just sleep” I said kissing her cheek and trailed down to her neck as she started to breath in ease.

“I’ll be here” I said smiling and placing my head on her and slowly drifted off into dream land too…

—Sehun’s POV—

“. I messed up big time.” I said and threw my phone on the pillow

“Why was I so stupid!” I said and punched my leg, the pain didn’t bother me at all

“I was so caught up with JiEun I didn’t even realize that what I had was already prefect. I had to go and ruin it. I promised I’ll be there for you and I only ended up hurting you. I didn’t even realize that JiEun only wanted me back because I had you.” I was frustrated. I couldn’t do anything. I was so mad at myself

“Baby, I need you. Give me another chance. I’ll break off everything with JiEun if you return to me. Please” I cried as a tear escaped my eye

To: Sehun Oppa

From: JiEunni

“Oppa! Let’s go shopping tomorrow and get some Green Tea ice cream againJI miss you”

To: JiEun

From: Sehun

“Sorry. I can’t tomorrow. I have something to do.”

I replied and just threw my phone to the table. Why couldn’t I tell that ~~~~~ was the one I needed. JiEun, yeah I loved her and still might it’s not the same anymore. I’m not longer as happy as I was when I was with you. I no longer feel complete like a part of my puzzle was missing. 

Did anyone notice the pun I did with the title of this chapter?

I'm a busy college student with Finals coming up, SO STRESSFUL!
