"So, Yerin-ssi." She glanced at her. "You're really going to Paris? Without any luggage?"
"I'm not sure if I want to go."
"Ah. You're in a terrible trouble."
"How do you know that."
"Is it about love?"
"N-Ne." Yerin stared straight blankly. "My gi—"
"Yes?"
"My boyfriend asked me to go to Paris with him."

Yerin looked trembled and later she cried just like that. It felt embarrassing to tell a story to a stranger like Eunbi, the famous artist whom every agency was chasing for, but she couldn't resist not to cry out loud. She had been through a lot. She needed somebody to listen to her. She was helpless. Eunbi caressed her cheeks softly, then her hair. Yerin was left stoned at her act.

"He decided to leave the city, the country. He thinks that it's a better place for us." Yerin opened up bluntly. "I just don't think it's the right the decision to make. Despite everything, we can have a better option and stay here. We should not run away like this."
"But he wants you to follow him, because he can't live without you?"
"I love him that much, though."
"Breath."

Yerin glanced at her. Surprisingly, she felt a little better after that. Later, she flashback all the good and bad memories that Yuju and she had been through together for such a long time. She tried to pick up pieces of hearts that crushed when Yuju asked her to choose. She opened her eyes, empty and keep in silent. Eunbi empathized and gave her a bottle of water.

"I'm sure it's a heavy task for you to keep going like that." Eunbi said. "I barely even know you, but you should consider to think of what you need, and what you want for you too. I don't mean to judge him, but it sounds pretty selfish that she wants you to follow her." Eunbi glanced at her, smiling lightly. "Did he even ask what you want?"
"He decided it's the best—"
"For him?"
"For us."
"Do you agree with that?"
"I—"
"Don't tell me that. Give yourself time." She smiled. "We're heading to Incheon, but you can have your own time to decide in the mean time. I won't disturb you at all."

Eunbi refocused herself to drive the car towards Incheon. In her mind, there was a memoir that has been tightly sealed inside her, about someone in the past: love and loss. Within ten minutes, she decided to give Yerin—someone she just met that day, enough time to think and allow herself to sink into her own thoughts.

"Eunbi-ssi."
"Ne?"
"Are you really going to Incheon tonight?"
"Not really." She chuckled. "It was strange to help a stranger like you."
"That was indeed strange."
"It's not a lie though."
"What?"
"The sun bright smile Jung Yerin."

"He ain't lying."
"Thank you for helping me."

For no apparent reason, Eunbi felt that Yerin's presence gave her something new in her life. She regretted what had happened to her, but was also grateful for the encounter. Strange. She thought back to how she could decide to help a stranger like her. Still looking straight ahead, Yerin suddenly put her hand on her arm. Eunbi turned her head slowly and silently, she questioned the woman's decision.

"Ready to go to the airport?" Eunbi asked.
"Can you drop me off—" Yerin replied. "At the park?"
"At the park?"
"Yes."
"So, you're not going to the airport?"
"Yes."
"Are you sure about it?"
"I made a decision." Yerin smiled. "Thank you. Now I know what I want, and what I need. Perhaps I will regret this. But for now, I just knew that it's not the right decision for us. Or at least, I need more time to think about it all. Clearly, I need it."
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah. I am."
"If that's what you want."

Eunbi's mind was racing, the same as Yerin's. Eunbi decided not to interfere any further. She made a U-turn and drove back to the city center to take them to a park according to Yerin's request. She knew, maybe it was the first and last time she met Yerin, but the brief meeting clearly made a deep impression on her.
