"Attention, please!"

A tall man with blue shirt and turtoise eye-glasses shouted loudly. Immediately, everyone stopped the things they were doing in that busy morning. It was Yerin's first day at the office, GF Entertainment. a company that's leading in talent search in South Korea. After passing several rounds of interview, she managed to steal the heart of the managers and landed her into the position, as a Marketing Officer.
 

"Let me introduce you, our new joint, Jung Yerin, our new Marketing Officer. She will be working under the supervision of Na Heedo." The man glanced at the woman with a warm smile and cute bangs on his left side. It was the first time Yerin acknowledged her senior. "Please welcome her, everyone. Our beautiful fresh-graduate."
"Good morning, sunbaenims." Yerin bowed herself down. "My name is Jung Yerin and this is my first day at the company. Really look forward to working with you."
"Yerin-ssi! You sure you're not applying for girl groups trainee?" Somebody shouted clearly. Everyone stared at her. Who knows that a simple little black dress can create such a magnetic feel when Yerin is the one who wears it? Yerin threw her bright smiling eyes. Everyone's impressed. "She's so pretty, right?" Everyone laughed and agreed to that.
"Do you have a boyfriend already?" Somebody asked another question. Duh! Yerin was thinking and talking to herself. She had to be smart. She didn't feel like it's good for her to say if she's single cause the guys would start to flirt on her, the way happened back then at college, but also didn't want to reveal her true self since clearly not everyone is ready for that one.

Yerin gained a lot of popularity as she grew up being a beautiful woman, both physically and personally. Open up about her ual identity to the people she just met—or even her friends—was never cross her mind at all, especially to the people who aren't close to her at all. In addition, it was a wise decision to keep it as secret to protect both Yuju and her. With such a long line of the guys chasing her, it caused them a bad situation as Yuju is easily jealous. Suddenly Yerin woke up from her thought.

"I do." She smiled warmly. She decided to answer it courtly.
"Too bad. Who's the lucky guy?" Now everyone's throwing a small laugh.
"Ahhh... I'm so secretive about that. Don't dare to try hiring a detective to follow me." She made a joke and everyone's laughed even more. It was a nice choice. Actually, she felt like it was enough. She could feel the disappointment from some fainted voices around but she didn't budge it. She said what she said. Her relationship with Yuju is what most important.
 

"Hi, baby. Wanna grab some lunch together?"
"Yuju-yah, mianhae. I can't. I have to go on a business lunch."
"Ah arasseo."
"Is it okay?" Yerin worried a bit.
"Sure. Why you asking me like that?"
"I'm afraid you'll get sad that I can't accompany you."
"Don't think like that. I don't want to disturb my girlfriend too."
"You don't disturb me, baby." I convinced her. I really wanted to kiss her right away. "How is the job? Did you get it?" She tried to change the topic. That day, Yuju supposedly had an interview session at a fast-growing multinational company.
"I don't know. I don't feel like taking it..."
"Why?"

Yuju sighed. It was tough. She has her own perception of a perfect job. Unlike her girlfriend, she clearly doesn't want to sit at the office, in front of the computer, from 9 to 6. She doesn't want that life. Her father offered her several jobs, both to work at her family's company and also that she could try applying for the jobs at other companies, which most likely already recommended by her father, using his own strong connection in business.
 

"Baby. Are you still there?"
"I'm okay, love. I'm not in the mood to talk about that. I'm sorry..."
"Yeah let's not talk about it. It must be hard for you. I'm sorry." Yerin could sense a sadness in Yuju's voice.
"Thanks, baby. That's what I need."
"Wait for me to come home, okay? We will have a cute ice cream session later on."
"I will. Can't wait. See you, love. Don't forget to eat good food!"

Yuju looked at her phone. She got a new message. It was from her dad. It had been quite a long time she didn't see him as she's so busy with his business. Even about the job offerings, he sent the details to her through email. Just how busy he was.

'Ah... Appa will be back to Seoul next Saturday.'

She closed her phone and heading to the apartment. She felt so sleepy that she couldn't help it and how she wish her girlfriend to hug her while sleeping. She was drowned to her own thought that she decided she could not be so selfish at all. Yerin deserves to live the life that she wants too. Well, at least, she has decided what to do with her life. Unlike her... She grabbed a pack of cigarettes from her pocket. Recently, she felt like she needed to smoke again. Yerin would be so mad to know as she promised her to stop smoking, back then at the college time. Actually, Yuju really stopped it, but for an unclear reason, she needed it the most.

"It's just a week. But I feel like home. I make a good friendship with the guy named Seungkwan and a girl named Jihyo. They both a marketer like me." Yerin shared her stories with such a big grin on her face. Yuju knew right away on how suitable it is for her to be at that company and she felt happy for her. "And you know what, babe? We will launch a debut for a new boyband so it's gonna be rough the next couple weeks. In time, I came into the company."
"They hired the right person."
"Do you think so?" She giggled.
"Of course." She replied. "How about the guys? Got some new fans?"
"What? Really? We're not talking about that. Besides, I never call them fans though."
"Whoa. Easy, baby. I was just kidding."

There was a silence between them after the last conversation. Yuju looked coldly at that time, making yerin wondered what just happened, or what was inside her beautiful mind. She sipped a glass of water while glanced at her girlfriend. She was just realized that they spent the whole time that afternoon by just talking about Yerin, but not about Yuju. Somehow, Yerin felt uncomfortable about it so she decided to start to open another conversation.

"Yuju-yah... How about you, baby?"
