I still remember the warning from Joy, but that warning just made me curious about my boss. She mostly stayed at her office. I just saw her a few times in my first week. In my third month, finally, I agree with Joy that my boss is a dangerous woman. The way she walked, the way she talked, the way she looked at people, and the way her brain worked were totally dangerous. She gave off a dangerous vibe around her that made no one, I repeat, no one dared to say no to her.

Did I already talk about her face? No? Okay, I will tell you. Her face was also dangerously pretty and she had a contagious smile. I once saw her dangerously-nearly-killed-me smile when she talked on the phone with someone.

She—as long as I knew—never showed her deadly smile to anyone in this office. Since the first day I worked here, she never smiled at me. Sometimes I wondered why she was so serious while she was indeed so much prettier if she smiled genuinely.
