This was a very super late post for Hyuna's birthday.

 

And it actually didn't end the way I want it.

 

I just wrote this in an I-don't-know state.

Junhyung dropped the spoon for the nth time, fell again in daze and started tapping the table. As to him, when he was curious, worried or thinking, he'll bite his nails until it'll all fade.                 And clearly, he's doing it right now.                 He ran an eye when his phone lit up, seeing that his co-members texted him. It wasn't what he's waiting. So he continued staring in daze and bit his nail.                 The situation was worrisome. She continued looking at him and continued being ignored. Her presence seemed to have no life for him, felt like she's just a smoke staying around.                 She took a piece of meat from the griller and placed one on his plate, still couldn't steal his attention. He started busying himself on his phone again, dancing his fingers while clicking the erase button once more. The fingers danced again and again, pressed the erase button. When he turned frustrated from texting, he placed the phone down and buried his face on his hands.                 "What's bothering you?" She asked, her voice in worry and confusion.                 That brought Junhyung back in reality. He was actually with someone now, eating outside to meet. He totally forgot it and immersed himself into his own thoughts. He slightly bowed down before taking a mouthful of rice and a piece of meat.                  "No, you could tell me everything." She said, putting down her own chopsticks and smiling towards him.                 He was so shy on committing this mistake. He was so frustrated for being so clear to her, not minding how she would feel. He shook his head lightly and gestured her to focus on her food while he busy himself on his own share.                 Hara hanged down her head while taking between her chopsticks a piece of kimchi and to . Junhyung was obviously not in the mood to meet her right now. He was just there physically. However, his mind continued to fly outside, ignoring her presence.                 The rest of the simple dinner date fell in silence. Although Junhyung seemed so focus in eating, she knew well that he keeps on thinking of that thing that bothers him. His eyes never failed to land a view on his phone whenever it lits up and it actually irates her. Irates her that although he was out with his girl, his attention wasn't on her.                 She decided to bring him on a park just near her dorm after the dinner. It was only 10 minutes before midnight and they were still out, taking all available time given for them to meet. Junhyung was supposed to be back at his dorm when time ticks at 1am so they still have a lot of time.                 They sat on a bench, Hara hugging herself on her jacket. Junhyung in absence, just sat down. He shut his eyes as he hanged his head on the rest, feeling the plausible time of resting.                 "I could clearly say something bothers you now." She stated, the same emotions present. She turned her body to his direction, resting her chin on top of her arm. She pouted to him when Junhyung tilted his head and grin to supress her concern.                 Hara took his hand on hers and massaged it slowly, pressing every sore part of it. Junhyung just smiled on the actions she gave and just shut his eyes again, leaving again to meet his thoughts.                 "You promised me, you wouldn't keep secrets to me." She mumbled, focus never leaving his hand.                 Junhyung straightened up and faced her. "A friend of mine will celebrate her birthday but I don't know what to give and say."                 "Is this the first time you planned to give your friend something for her birthday?"                 "No." He answered in no pauses. "I do this yearly."                 "Then why are you having a hard time?" She asked, pulling close her jacket to her.                 That's right.               Why is he having a hard time choosing something?               Having a hard time typing words to say?               Having a hard time planning?               Why?                 "I don't know." He slightly shook his head while speaking; slowly going in deep thoughts.                 "If she's a girl, that is pretty easy." Hara comforted him with a smile pasted on her lips. "A little heart-warming message to congratulate her is fine. Of course, saying wishes and good lucks might help too."                 He was into thoughts after hearing that, she was right. He should just say congratulations and those things. Why it bothers him this much?                 A wish and congratulatory greeting, as simple as that. No need to make things complicated.                 "As for the gifts..." Hara paused, thinking to herself what could be best to say. "...rely on her favorite things."                 Junhyung narrowed his eyes while thinking. Her favorite things. Shoes, heels. Those are her favorites. He never tried giving
